Chapter 683 Injured

After hearing the doctor's words, Kaylah got to know that Hendry hurt his head.

"He hurt his head? How is that possible?"

Kaylah checked Hendry's head and then saw the blood on it.

"Don't worry. It doesn't hurt. I think I just got cut by a piece of glass in the bar.

I'm fine!"

Hendry felt sorry when he saw Kaylah's eyes turn red.

"Why didn't you tell me that you were injured? You didn't even want to go to the

hospital. You hurt your head! What if the wound gets infected?"

Enter title...

Hendry looked at her gently with a smile on his face.

"Don't worry. I promise I'll be honest with you forever!"

The doctor near them felt awkward when hearing that.

"Well, we'll figure that out later. You need to have a CT scan now!"

Kaylah insisted that Hendry should stay in the hospital for a few days.

They soon got the result of the CT scan.

Hendry had a slight concussion. Fortunately, he was sent to the hospital in time,

otherwise, his nervous system might have been affected.

Kaylah breathed a sigh of relief when she heard what the doctor said.

Kaylah was grateful that she didn't listen to Hendry and insisted that he should

go to the hospital. Otherwise, Hendry's condition might get worse.

Kaylah frowned when looking at Hendry, who was wearing a hospital gown and lying on the bed.

"You need to have some rest here. You can let Chad help you deal with the affairs of the company. I gotta go!"

Seeing that Kaylah was about to leave, Hendry immediately sat up, lifted the

quilt, and was about to get out of bed.

"What are you doing? The doctor said that you need to take a rest!"

Kaylah rushed forward and forced Hendry to lie on the bed again.

"So are you going to leave me?"

Kaylah could notice there was a sense of loss and sadness in his voice.

Hendry was happy when he found Kaylah worried about him. But now he felt

bitter at heart.

He was lying alone on the bed. He didn't expect that Kaylah would just leave him directly.

Kaylah felt a little guilty when she sensed a hint of bitterness in Hendry's tone. She cleared her throat and said, "I've called Chad. He'll come here soon! I don't

think I'm going to be much help here, so..."

"No!"

Hendry looked at Kaylah.

He continued, "You said that I got hurt because of you. Shouldn't you take care of me while I stay in the hospital?"

Hendry didn't intend to let Kaylah look after him from the outset. But now he realized that she wouldn't want to get close to him again if he didn't create more chances to stay with her.

Hendry could tell Kaylah was reluctant to stay here when she heard his words. "I can hire some caregivers for you. I believe they can take very good care of

you!"

Hendry's friends and acquaintances didn't know what type of relationship between him and Mila was. Kaylah just wanted to stay out of the way.

In fact, the thing that happened in the bar was totally an accident.

If Kaylah hadn't met that bastard in the bar, she wouldn't have gone to Hendry.
