Chapter 782 Both of Them Wake Up
"Alright. You told me that you've grown up. Why are you still crying? I'll go with you."
In the ward, Hendry was lying on the bed and had yet to wake up.
Seeing that Hendry's body was bandaged with gauze, Kaylah failed to control herself, and the tears in her eyes kept streaming down. Her fingers trembled slightly as she touched Hendry's face gently. Hendry was covered in wounds, and Kaylah felt distressed.
Because of Kaylah, Hendry had been injured many times.
This time, an accident had almost happened to him.
Recalling the scene of Hendry kicking off the kidnapper's knife, Kaylah broke out in cold sweat.
If there was the slightest mistake at that time, Hendry would be hurt even more.
Kaylah was so worried about Hendry.
Zion sighed and chose to turn around and walk out, leaving Kaylah to stay alone with Hendry.
Zion did not want Kaylah to return to Hendry's side.
But when he saw Kaylah's heartbroken appearance, he knew that he couldn't stop Kaylah from making up with Hendry.
Although Zion still had a lot of dissatisfaction toward Hendry, he would rather choose to make Kaylah happy.
Right now, all Zion could do was to protect Kaylah well, not letting Kaylah repeat her mistakes and suffer again.
Just as Kaylah was worried that Hendry would not wake up, Hendry's eyelids moved slightly.
Kaylah held her breath and stared at Hendry without blinking, afraid that she would miss something.
The next second, Hendry opened his eyes slowly.
The dazzling light made Hendry frown.
Kaylah reached out and blocked the sunlight shining in through the window.
Only then did Hendry see Kaylah.
Seeing Kaylah's hospital gown and the gauze wrapped around her head, Hendry struggled to sit up, but Kaylah pressed him down. "Don't move. There are many wounds on your body. The doctor said you have to lie down properly and can't move."
"Is your head hurt? It's all my fault.I didn't protect you well and let them hurt you.Damn it!"
Hendry frowned, his tone full of regret and complaints about himself.
Hearing Hendry's words, Kaylah shook her head and said in a sobbing tone.
"No. You protected me very well. If not for you, I would have been hit by those iron rods. You were a fool. You endured all of them."
Kaylah looked at Hendry with tears on her face.
Hendry felt distressed.
Hendry stroke her face gently and wiped away the tears.
The tears on Kaylah's face were no longer warm, but Hendry felt them hot.
"Alright. Don't cry.I was willing to do that. Do you want me to watch as those iron bars hit you? I would rather be injured than see you get hurt in front of me." Hendry looked at Kaylah's head again.
