Sir, Madam Dispeared Again After Divorce!
Chapter 749 Madeline Asked to See Julien

Zach knew that although Sydney had gotten back with Julien, Julien was always worried that Sydney would back out because it seemed like Sydney was still holding back a part of herself. Last night, the two finally had sex. Guess Julien wouldn't have to worry about Sydney going back on it in the future. And he should be more confident about their relationship after the intimacy. Indeed, hearing Zach's congratulations, Julien curled the corners of his mouth. "It's no big deal."

Although Julien said this, there was a touch of excitement in his voice.

Zach knew Julien was deliberately downplaying his emotions, but he could only respond with a smile, "Yes, Mr. Flint."

"What did you call me for?" Julien asked, "I told you I'm not going to the office today. Don't call me unless there's an emergency. I'll go to the office tomorrow."

"I know, but it's not about business, it's about Madeline." Zach got serious.

Hearing it was about Madeline, Julien immediately straightened his back and asked, "Madeline?"

"Yes." Zach reported, "I got a call from the police this morning. They said Madeline asked to see you."

"What?" Julien furrowed his brows, "She asked to see me?"

"Yes."

"Are you sure she didn't ask to see Leaf?"

Julien didn't know Madeline well, so he couldn't think of any reason why Madeline would want to see him.

If Madeline was going to jail, she should have asked to see Sydney. Why did she ask to see Julien?

"Yes, I'm pretty sure. I was also surprised when I got the call from the police. I double-checked with the officer that Madeline wanted to see you, not Ms. Raines," Zach replied.

Julien was confused. "OK. Did the officer say why Madeline asked to see me?"

"Yes." Zach replied, "The officer said Madeline wanted to see you because of Ms. Raines, so I called to tell you about it."

Zach knew that Julien cared about everything about Sydney, or he would have refused Madeline's request outright.

Madeline had nothing to do with Julien. If it weren't for Sydney, Zach wouldn't even have reported it to Julien.

But since Sydney was involved, things were different.

"About Leaf?" Julien narrowed his eyes, "Did he mention anything specific?"

"No, and the police don't know about it. Although Madeline is at the police station now, and she has the right not to disclose it to the police." Zach then asked, "Mr. Flint, are you going to see Madeline?" Julien was silent for a few seconds. He then lifted his chin and told Zach, "Tell the officer I'm going to the police station tomorrow. I need to replace out what Madeline wants to talk to me about."

"Yes." Zach responded. He then said, "I'm going back to work. Have a nice day with Ms. Raines! See you tomorrow!"

Then Zach hung up the phone quickly. Normally, he always waited for Julien to hang up first, but today was different.

Zach knew that Julien didn't want to be bothered by anyone today. And he also knew that for anything involving Sydney, Julien would abandon his principles, so Zach wasn't worried that Julien would be annoyed when he hung up first.

It turned out Zach was right.

After Zach said 'Have a nice day with Ms. Raines', Julien immediately forgave the assistant.

If Zach hadn't been so clever, he would have lost his bonus for the month.

Julien let out a grunt, tossed his phone aside, and got up to go to the kitchen. He was going to cook some porridge for Sydney and wake her up later, even though he knew she was too tired last night and that she might not want to get up.

However, Julien worried that Sydney would be hungry. She had slept too long. It was not good for her stomach to be empty for so long.

Julien went to the kitchen and started cooking.

With last night's cooking experience, he was getting better at it, although he could only cook a few dishes.

After he finished cooking the porridge, it was already 3:00 pm.

Julien glanced at his watch. He thought it was time to wake Sydney up. He turned off the gas, took off the apron, and walked toward the bedroom.

When he came to the room, Julien found Sydney still sleeping deeply.

Julien quietly walked to the bed, slowly sat by the side of it, and then gently patted Sydney's shoulder. "Leaf, wake up."

Sydney was in a dream at the moment. She dreamed that she was flying happily.

However, the next moment, a giant hand suddenly came out of the sky and hit her. Immediately, she fell to the ground and was awakened. She let out a scream and opened her eyes abruptly. Julien was startled by her scream. He was dumbfounded. After two seconds, he snapped to his senses and asked, "Did you have a nightmare?"

Sydney blinked and slowly calmed down. Then she glared at Julien, "Yes! You are the nightmare!"

Julien was confused. He curled his lips and wondered, "How am I a nightmare?"

"You are the nightmare." Sydney grunted, "I was flying, but suddenly, a giant hand knocked me to the ground. I felt like I was falling from the sky to the ground, and I woke up scared. It was your fault." Seeing Julien's hand on her shoulder, she understood where the giant hand in her dream came from.

Therefore, it was Julien's fault.

Looking at Sydney's angry eyes, Julien was amused. "Okay. It's my fault. I apologize to you. Okay?"

"OK. All right." Sydney snorted. Then she was about to sit up.

She had forgotten what had happened last night. When she got up, she sat straight up as she usually did.

However, before she could sit up, she fell back into bed in pain. Her face turned pale. The pain all over her body reminded her of what had happened last night.

Sydney stared blankly at the ceiling. Her eyes became misty. Last night came back to her, and she remembered the burning sensation.

She remembered that she had deliberately gotten drunk and thrown herself at Julien last night, and then they had sex.

Julien was so passionate. He made love to her again and again, as if he would never get tired.

"Uh..." Sydney felt so ashamed that she grabbed the blanket and covered her head as if she was trying to hide in it. She couldn't believe what she'd done last night. She wondered if the woman who had thrown herself at Julien was her.

How crazy she was to have seduced Julien and taken off his shirt. Therefore, literally, last night she asked Julien for sex.

Seeing Sydney suddenly cover herself in the blanket, Julien was confused. He didn't know what was going on. He reached for her blanket and tried to pull it off. "What's wrong? Why are you covering yourself in the blanket? Come on! Let go of the blanket. You'll suffocate in there."

"Leave me alone." Sydney gripped the blanket tightly and grumbled from it.

Julien frowned, "I'm your lover. How can I leave you alone? Come out."

Still, Sydney wouldn't let go.

Julien exerted some force and lifted the blanket.

Sydney looked at him with wide eyes. She didn't expect Julien would bluntly lift the blanket off her. She yelled, "You..."

Looking at Sydney's flushed face and the shyness in her eyes, it dawned on Julien why she had covered herself in the blanket. She must have remembered last night, and she was feeling shy.

"All right. Don't be shy. It's not something to be ashamed of." Julien tossed the blanket aside and chuckled at Sydney.
