Sir, Madam Dispeared Again After Divorce!
Chapter 798 The Employees Laughed at Julien and Zach

Julien didn't pay any attention to Zach. He tapped on the reception desk.

The girl at the reception desk was currently writing down something in her notebook. She didn't notice Julien and Zach.

When she heard the tap, she hurriedly put down her pen and looked up.

She was surprised to see Julien. She nervously stammered, "Mr.... Mr. Flint."

Julien frowned, yet he didn't replace fault with the girl.

He knew that most employees were afraid of him, so he understood her panic. He'd been in a lot of such situations.

"Has anyone from Skylight come here?" Julien asked.

The girl was confused, "Skylight?"

Julien nodded. Zach now understood everything.

'So Mr. Flint asked me to park at the gate because of Ms. Raines. I'm not surprised. Except for Ms. Raines, who could make Mr. Flint break his own rules, and more than once?' "No." The girl shook her head.

Julien tightened his lips into a thin line. 'Looks like the soup delivery guy is still on his way.'

Seeing that Julien didn't say anything anymore, Zach coughed and then asked, "Mr. Flint, did Ms. Raines send someone to deliver something?"

Julien lifted his chin nonchalantly. Zach then was sure that he was right.

Zach smiled, "I see. Mr. Flint, you may go to your office. I'll be waiting here. Then I'll bring the stuff to your office, okay?"

"No." Julien refused bluntly, "I'm going to wait here." Julien gave Zach a sidelong glance. A hint of warning was in his eyes.

The corner of Zach's mouth twitched. He spat inwardly, 'Damn it! I was trying to help! It's an assistant's job to help his boss collect stuff. It's fine that my proposal wasn't appreciated. But why does Mr. Flint glare at me?

'Damn it!

'What's the big deal about having a girlfriend? When I'm not busy anymore, I'll replace one myself, and then I won't envy them.'

Although Zach felt upset, he kept a smile on his face. No one could tell that he was actually annoyed.

Julien never cared about what was on Zach's mind. The girl brought two chairs. Julien sat down and folded his legs, waiting for Sydney's soup.

It was about an hour's drive from Skylight to Flint Corporation. It took them an hour to get back from the plant, so Sydney's soup should be here soon.

Julien lifted his arm to check the time and then tapped his fingers against his knee. His eyes glanced at the gate every now and then. It was obvious that he was anxiously awaiting Sydney's soup.

Since Julien sat down, Zach didn't dare go. He sat right behind Julien and waited for the guy from Skylight with Julien.

The smile on the girl's face stiffened as she watched the two. She was dumbfounded. 'What's going on? Why are they sitting here?'

As Julien and Zach sat there, the girl felt stressed. She couldn't concentrate on her work. She didn't dare to gasp for air for fear of causing the two's attention.

The girl rubbed her stiffened cheeks and sighed inwardly.

Usually, the girls compared the number of times they had seen Julien and they would be proud if they had seen Julien the most. In addition, they discussed how handsome Julien was in a chat group. The girl at the reception desk always imagined that one day Julien would walk up to her, so she could look at Julien's handsome face carefully. Then all the women in the chat group would envy her luck. Now, her fantasy became a reality as Julien walked up to her and sat not far from her.

However, she did not dare to stare at Julien as she had always imagined. She did not even dare to glance at him.

She was afraid that Zach or Mr. Flint would replace out about her and fire her.

In the past, some women at the company had secretly followed Julien around to see his face at close range, and all of them had been fired. So, after that, no one dared to stare at Julien again.

They were afraid they would lose their jobs. And if they were fired for staring at Julien, it would be recorded in their files. No company would hire them afterward.

Therefore, the girl at the reception desk was determined never to cast a glance at Julien. The girl gripped the pen in her hand tightly and warned herself not to glance at Julien.

Although Julien made her feel very stressed, she told herself to stay calm and that Julien would leave soon.

In addition to the girl at the reception desk, the other employees passing through the hall also felt stressed when they saw Julien sitting there.

They all wondered why their boss was sitting in the hall instead of his office.

Some employees thought Julien was there to catch employees he was not happy with.

Everyone slowed their pace when they saw Julien in the hall. They all held their breath and hung their heads down, pretending they didn't see Julien. They were afraid to talk to Julien. They were intimidated by Julien's presence, even though they felt funny inside.

Wasn't it funny? The boss and his assistant were sitting in plain chairs in the hall. They were dressed so formally and looked so solemn. They were sitting at the reception desk and staring at the gate. It looked really funny.

Some of the employees burst out laughing after they walked out of the two's sight. Some of them took out their cell phones and posted to their chat groups that they saw Julien and Zach sitting in the hall. Soon everyone in the company learned that their boss was sitting in the hall instead of his office. They all laughed about it.

Zach didn't know that the employees were secretly laughing at him and Julien, but he could sense their surprised, cautious, evasive and finally amused look in their eyes as they passed through the hall. Zach could guess what the employees were doing their best to restrain.

They were all amused by the sight of Julien and Zach sitting in the lobby.

The boss and his assistant should be sitting in their luxurious office, in their comfortable chairs, not here, in two worn chairs.

They should be busy working on critical documents, not staring at the gate like two idiots.

Zach was embarrassed. As he thought about this, he hung his head down and covered his face with his hands.

He blamed it on Julien.

However, Julien was either glancing at his watch or staring at the gate attentively. He had no idea that the employees were laughing at them. Zach didn't dare tell Julien about it. He was afraid to piss Julien off.

Zach sighed helplessly.

He could do nothing. Everyone knew about it and was talking about it behind their backs. He had no choice but to sit with Julien in the hall.
