Sir, Madam Dispeared Again After Divorce!
Chapter 813 Hunter Tried to Stir Things up

Julien would not have lashed out at them if it hadn't been for the manager.

Luckily, Sydney's message pacified Julien, otherwise, Julien could have docked their salaries for the month besides making them reflect on themselves. Everyone thanked Sydney for rescuing them.

'If Mr. Flint gets angry again in the future, we can turn to Ms. Raines,' They thought in their minds.

Julien wasn't sure what was going through these people's minds. He knocked on the table and said in a cold voice, "All right. Let's continue the meeting." "Yes." The group came out of their thoughts and turned their attention back to the meeting.

Sydney put down her phone and got back to her breakfast. She ate quickly. Ten minutes later, she finished her breakfast.

Then she got dressed, glanced at the clock, and headed out the door with her handbag.

When she arrived at the courthouse, it was about 8:30.

Just after Sydney unbuckled her seat belt and was about to get out of the car, suddenly, a knock came on her window.

Sydney turned her head and saw a tall man standing by her car door.

The man was dressed in casual clothes. The two buttons at the bottom of his neck were left open, revealing his collarbone. He looked sexy.

The man was wearing a necklace, which made him look like a playboy.

To Sydney's surprise, it was Hunter.

Sydney rolled down the window and looked at Hunter who was dressed in such a trendy way. She asked as the corner of her mouth twitched, "Aren't you cold dressed like this?" This was not Hunter's usual style of dressing. Although he had a wild character, his dressing style was very close to Julien's. They often wore suits.

However, Hunter was now getting more similar to Luke.

Luke usually wore very fancy clothes. He never buttoned up all the buttons. He was indeed a playboy.

Sydney was surprised that Hunter was dressed in this way.

Hunter looked down at his own clothes and laughed. Then he straightened his collar and answered, "I'm fine. How do I look?"

Sydney got out of the car, glanced at him from top to bottom, and nodded at the end, "Not bad. You look very handsome. But why are you suddenly changing your style?"

"I'm not changing my style. I was at a party last night. A couple of politicians' descendants from Jackal City came to the city yesterday. As my father is also a politician in Port City, I needed to entertain them and get some news about Jackal City from them." Hunter said as he closed the car door for Sydney.

Sydney responded, "So that's it." She didn't ask Hunter what news he'd gotten.

That was the game between politicians, and Sydney wasn't interested in that. "Here are the files you asked for." Hunter handed Sydney a blue folder.

Sydney took it and looked through it. It was the details of the genetic owners.

Sydney smiled. She didn't read it carefully and closed the folder. "I'll read it later. The trial is starting. Let's go in."

She gestured to the courthouse door.

Hunter followed Sydney behind, his hands in his pants pockets. "Does Julien know I'm going to the court with you?" Sydney replied, not stopping her steps, "No, I didn't tell him."

"You didn't tell him?" Hunter paused his steps. Apparently, he was surprised.

He wondered what the look on Julien's face would be like after he knew about it. He wanted to laugh at Julien.

However, he was surprised when he found Sydney didn't tell Julien about it.

Sydney looked at Hunter, "It's not a big deal. There is no need to tell him."

"You got a point, but I'm the one who accompanied you to the trial!" Hunter looked Sydney in the eyes, "You should know how overbearing Julien is. If you don't tell him I came to court with you, he will be mad after he learns about it."

Hearing Hunter's words, Sydney paused in her tracks.

Apparently, she hadn't thought about it.

Since she was going to talk to Hunter in detail about the genes later, she agreed to let Hunter accompany her to the court. They were going to meet anyway.

They were going to talk about business, not anything else, so Sydney didn't think Julien would have a problem with it.

After Hunter's reminder, she immediately remembered how easily Julien could become jealous. He was even jealous of his brother, Jayden, not to mention Hunter.

Sydney rubbed her temples as if she had a headache and sighed, "It's okay. I'll tell him about it later. He won't be mad."

Despite Sydney saying so, she knew Julien wouldn't be happy.

But Hunter had already come to the courthouse, and Sydney couldn't drive him away.

Julien would definitely be angry, so Sydney was determined that when everything was settled, she would coax him in the evening.

"I think Julien will be angry." Hunter rolled his eyes and gave a smirk.

Sydney looked at him. Suddenly, Hunter bent close to her, "I'm sure Julien will be angry. Will he kick my ass if he gets angry?"

Sydney rolled her eyes at Hunter and took a step back to distance herself from him, "You're wrong. Julien is not like that."

An upset look flashed across Hunter's eyes, but he quickly regained his composure as if nothing had happened. He continued with a smile, "That's not for sure. I know how terrible Julien can be. But if he kicks my ass, I can take it. I'm a man after all, but I'm worried..." He paused deliberately.

Sydney raised her eyebrows at him and asked, "What are you worried about?"

"I'm worried he'll blame you if he gets mad." Hunter said.

Sydney waved her hand, "How is that possible? Don't be ridiculous."

She knew Julien would be jealous after learning Hunter was at the trial with her. But she was sure Julien wouldn't be mad at her and that he would only be mad at Hunter.

And even if Julien was angry with her, he wouldn't do anything to her.

If Julien ever raised his hand at her, she would break up with him right away.

"I mean what if?" Hunter shrugged his shoulders, "Julien has a bad temper. What if he hurts you? I'm not sure about Julien's temper. He's not like me. I will always treat you with tenderness. Do you want to break up with Julien and be with me? I'm a real gentleman. I never lose my temper, especially with you. It's frightening to be around Julien."

Sydney glared at Hunter, "What are you talking about? Even if Julien has a bad temper, he won't get mad at me. Stop picking on him. Stop trying to stir things up. You guys are friends!" As Sydney said this, she stomped on Hunter's foot with her high heel. Then she entered the court.

Hunter stood still and bent over in pain. Cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

If he hadn't been in front of the courthouse and aware of his image, he would have held up his foot and jumped around.

It hurt too much.

'Sydney's so cruel!'

Hunter bent down and gulped in pain.

After a few minutes, the pain in his foot dissipated a bit.

Hunter straightened up, let out a long breath, and limped into the courthouse. He joined Sydney at the plaintiff's table.

Sydney glanced at him, "You can still walk."
