Julien kept silent but agreed with Hunter.

'God is screwing with Sydney.'

Julien massaged his forehead and asked Hunter tiredly, "Then do you still think that I should tell Sydney her origins?"

Hunter shook his head and smiled bitterly. "Of course not, unless I want her to die."

Julien snorted, "If so, watch your mouth and don't let her know what she shouldn't know."

"Got it. Don't worry." Hunter nodded and didn't say anything else.

Julien was taciturn all the time.

Thus, both of them quieted down.

For a moment, the large office fell silent, and the atmosphere became depressing.

After a while, Hunter said with complicated feelings, "I know that you hide her origins from her for her own good, but have you thought that you can't hide it from her forever? She will know sooner or later. After she replaces that you have known it already but haven't told her, do you really think that she won't blame you?"

Julien rubbed his hands. After a while, he replied, "She will blame me, but I believe that she will understand my good intention. She's smart and will know what she should do."

"I hope so." Hunter shrugged.

Julien picked up the cup and gulped down the rest of his coffee. "You have known everything you want to know. Is there anything else?"

Julien meant that Hunter could leave now.

Hunter curled his lips. "At least, I'm your ally now. Don't you feel that you're too heartless? You ask me to leave as soon as you used me." Julien glanced at him impatiently.

Hunter stood up. "Alright, don't look at me like this. I feel terrified. I will leave immediately."

Julien shouted, "Zach!"

Zach had been waiting outside the door. When Julian called him, he immediately pushed open the door and walked in. "Mr. Flint, what can I do for you?"

"See him off." Julien raised his chin towards Hunter.

"OK." Zach looked at Hunter with a smile. "Mr. Cohen, this way please."

Hunter rolled his eyes at Zach. "You even waited outside the door all the time, and Julien knew about that. It seems that you two have decided to ask me to leave from the beginning as long as you get the chance."

Zach replied with a smile, "It's great that you know it. Mr. Cohen, this way please."

Hunter read Zach's meaning from his gaze. 'Now that you know we want you to leave, you would better be sensible and leave immediately.'

Hunter curled his lips resignedly and followed Zach.

The office became quiet again.

Julien looked in the direction where Hunter had left and thought of what Hunter had said in the end. Julien wasn't as calm as he said.

He was worried that Sydney would blame him after she knew the truth, but he would rather be blamed for her own good.

He wouldn't regret what he did.

A trace of firmness flashed through his eyes and disappeared soon.

In the afternoon, Julien drove to Skylight Corporation after he seized the time to finish his work at hand.

When he arrived at Skylight Corporation, it was 6:00 p.m.

He sat in the car, took out his phone, texted Sydney and told her that he had arrived.

However, she didn't reply to him for a long time.

He couldn't help but start to imagine things. 'Does she not reply to me on purpose because of my question on the phone in the morning?'

He compressed his lips slightly. Then he put his phone into his suit pocket, picked up his coat on the passenger seat, put it on, wore the scarf that Sydney knit, got out of the car and walked towards the door of Skylight Corporation.

The people in the hall of Skylight Corporation were surprised by Julien.

Obviously, they didn't expect him to show up here.

Julien was the president of Flint Corporation and the youngest and richest man in Port City, even in the whole country. His property even made the list in the world. Unexpectedly, they were so lucky to see him when they got off work.

'Mr. Flint must have been here for Ms. Raines.'

They guessed in their hearts.

Julien didn't know how surprised they were because of his arrival. He walked towards the reception, poker-faced.

Seeing him getting closer, the receptionist was so nervous that her face turned scarlet. She stammered, "Hi, Mr. Flint... What can I do for you?"

'It's not because I'm easy to be nervous.

'It's because I have never received such a bigwig.

'I even have never talked to Ms. Raines, let alone Mr. Flint, who is more powerful than Ms. Raines.

'Keeping rational to talk with Mr. Flint is difficult for me already.'

Julien asked calmly, "Is Leaf still in the company?"

The receptionist felt confused. "Leaf?"

He compressed his lips. "Sydney."

The receptionist had a moment of enlightenment.

'It turns out that Ms. Raines is Leaf.'

'I have never heard that Ms. Raines' nickname is Leaf, and Mr. Chase has never called Ms. Raines like that.

'It must be exclusive to Mr. Flint.

'Oh my God. They're so sweet.'

The receptionist became excited, and her face turned redder.

She was a shipper of Sydney and Julien and always surfed the Internet about how sweet they were. Now she got the chance to see how sweet they were personally. Of course, she became so excited. If it weren't unseemly in the company, she would jump and scream to show her happiness.

'After Mr. Flint leaves, I would like to tell my replaceings to other shippers of Ms. Raines and Mr. Flint. They will be jealous of me.' The more she thought about it, the more excited she became.

She took several deep breaths and tried her best to calm down. Then she replied to Julien with a smile, "Ms. Raines is still in the company. She suddenly has an urgent meeting in the afternoon and is having the meeting with the directors and department managers."

'It turns out like that.

'No wonder she hasn't replied to my message.'

Julien was relieved slightly. He nodded and walked towards the elevator.

The receptionist looked at his back and clenched her fists happily. Then she told others in the chat group that Julien had been here. She would like to let others witness PDA like her.

After that, she logged in to her Twitter account and told other shippers how sweet Sydney and Julien were.

Julien knew nothing about that.

He arrived at the meeting room.

There was also a reception outside the meeting room. One of Sydney's assistants was sitting there.

When the assistant heard footsteps, he looked away from the computer. When he saw Julien, he was surprised. Then he stood up immediately and greeted Julien, "Hi, Mr. Flint." Julien glanced at him and nodded. Then Julien looked at the closed meeting room. "Isn't the meeting over yet?"

The assistant shook his head. "Not yet, but it will be over soon. It has lasted for more than one hour. Mr. Flint, are you here for Ms. Raines?"

Julien nodded. "I come here to take her home."

The assistant witnessed PAD, but he kept calm and replied with a smile, "Mr. Flint, please wait a minute. I will walk in and inform Ms. Raines that."

"No need." Julien raised his hand to stop him. "Don't disturb her. I will wait for her here."

The assistant gave up on persuading him and said, "Then please have a seat. Would you like to have a cup of coffee?"

Julien nodded, walked over and sat on the assistant's seat to wait for Sydney.
