Sir, Madam Dispeared Again After Divorce!
Chapter 833 Sydney Couldn't Sleep After Julien Left

Sydney followed Julien to the door. As Julien was bending down to change his shoes, Sydney opened the door.

Immediately, a wave of cold air rushed into the room.

Sydney shivered involuntarily.

Noticing that, Julien frowned. Then he took the scarf off his neck and draped it over Sydney's shoulders, "I should have warned you to wear more. All right! Don't go out with me. Go back to the bedroom." "It's okay." Sydney shook her head as she grabbed the scarf. She didn't want to go back. "It won't take me long to walk you out. I'll be fine. I've never walked you out to work before. I want to. Don't drive me away."

Looking at the expectant look in her eyes, Julien couldn't turn her down.

He raised his hand and gently rubbed her hair when he said, "OK, I won't drive you away. If you want to walk me out, stop at the door. Don't walk to the elevator."

"OK," Sydney nodded. She knew very well that Julien would not allow her to walk him to the elevator.

It was cold outside. Even if Sydney insisted, Julien wouldn't agree. It was a big compromise to let her walk him to the door. Therefore, Sydney would not insist on walking him to the elevator.

Since Sydney had agreed, Julien was happy. He stretched his arms and took her into his arms, rested his chin on her shoulder, and said in a soft voice, "Okay. I'm off to work. I'll see you in the evening." "See you. Drive safe." Sydney wrapped her arms around his waist and patted him on the back.

Julien chuckled, "I will. It's cold outside. Go back into the apartment."

Then he let her go.

Sydney responded, "OK. Go ahead. I'll go back when you get in the elevator."

She wouldn't go back into the apartment if he didn't leave first.

Julien had no choice but to turn around and walk towards the elevator.

But just after he took a step, he stopped, turned back, and took her into his arms again. He kissed her passionately on the lips.

Sydney froze. Then she came to her senses and put her arms around his neck and kissed him back.

Julien was worried that she would be cold and he had to go to work, so he didn't kiss her for long. After about a minute, he let her go. Looking at Sydney's red lips, Julien wiped the corner of her mouth with his thumb and gave her a satisfied smile. "I'm leaving."

"OK," Sydney nodded with a slightly flushed face.

Julien let go of her and turned to walk forward.

He didn't stop or come back to hug and kiss her again. He walked straight towards the elevator.

Sydney stood in the doorway, watching him walk away.

Julien walked to the elevator, stopped, and turned to wave at her. Sydney waved back at him smilingly. After he got into the elevator, she dropped her hand and went back to the apartment. It was really cold outside, but it was warm in the apartment.

Sydney took off her slippers and got into bed. It was warm to lie under the quilt. As soon as she got under the quilt, she felt warm all over her body. She stopped shivering.

"It's so comfortable." Sydney stretched out. Then she closed her eyes and prepared to sleep some more.

It wasn't quite light outside yet.

But she couldn't fall asleep. After walking Julien out, her sleepiness was gone.

Sydney opened her eyes, stared at the ceiling, lifted the quilt to cover only her belly, and sighed in annoyance, "I can't fall asleep!"

Julien guessed correctly that Sydney couldn't fall back asleep after she returned from walking him out.

Sydney tossed and turned in bed.

Sydney kicked her legs and threw the quilt aside. Then she quieted down, turned on her side, and stared at the spot where Julien had been lying.

She reached out a hand to touch the spot. It still felt warm, but it would soon be cold.

Sydney felt the warmth and she felt as if Julien was still with her.

She couldn't believe that she wanted to be by his side all the time, just days after they had gotten back together.

Even though Julien left in the morning and he would return in the evening, she kept missing him. When he wasn't around, she felt a hollow in her heart just like she did now. Julien had just left and she was starting to miss him.

Falling in love with someone was sometimes torture.

Sydney hammered Julien's pillow with annoyance. Then she quieted down and fell into a daze.

When she got out of her daze, it was an hour later and it was already light.

Suddenly, the alarm went off. Sydney reached for her phone and turned it off. Then she got up and got dressed.

After she was dressed, she walked to the door to see if breakfast had been delivered.

When she opened the door, she saw a waiter standing outside the door, the same one as yesterday.

Julien knew she wouldn't be able to sleep, so after he left the apartment, he had breakfast delivered to the apartment.

Sydney took the breakfast over and smiled. 'Julien knows me so well!'

"Thank you." Sydney smiled at the waiter. Then she closed the door and went to her room.

She put breakfast on the table, took out her phone, took a picture of it, and sent it to Julien, "I've received breakfast."

She also sent a panda emoji to him. It was cute.

Looking at the emoji, Sydney suddenly thought of the scene yesterday when Julien was carrying her purse. He was wearing a black suit and carrying a white purse, the same color as the panda. Sydney laughed out loud. Then she put her phone on the table and started to eat.

She guessed that Julien was busy at the moment and that he wouldn't reply to her messages, so she didn't expect to hear back from him soon. She knew he would reply to her messages after he finished his work.

However, just a few seconds after Sydney put her phone down, her phone rang.

Sydney was surprised. She put down her coffee and looked at her phone.

'Is it Julien? Isn't he busy? Why is he calling me?'

Sydney immediately picked up the phone and was about to answer it. But when she saw the caller ID, the smile on her face faded.

It wasn't Julien but Finn.

She wondered why Finn was calling her.

Sydney answered the phone with confusion, "Hello, Finn."

"I'm not disturbing you, am I?" Finn was sitting by his desk, leaning back in his chair, holding his phone in one hand, and twirling his silvery scalpel with the other.

Sydney shook his head, "No. I haven't been to the office yet. I'm not busy right now."

"That's good." Finn nodded.

Sydney inclined her head and held her phone with her shoulder, "Is there something you're calling about?"

"It's not a big deal. I heard you found the right sperm. Is it true?" Finn asked.

Sydney responded, "Yes. How did you know about it? I don't remember telling you."

She was going to tell Finn about it when Hunter brought the sperm back to the country. She needed Finn to preserve the sperm.

However, Finn learned about it before she told him.
