Sir, Madam Dispeared Again After Divorce!
Chapter 905 Might Not Be Father and Daughter

"Anything else from the police? What were they talking about?" Julien asked in a deep voice, pinching the bridge of his nose.

Zach shook his head. "That was not mentioned. Dallin requested to meet Greta. Although the police couldn't release Greta, they granted his request since he is a major taxpayer. Therefore, they don't know what the two talked about, but..."

"Go ahead!" Julien frowned unhappily.

Zach cleared his throat and quickly continued, "There's a strange message sent over by the police officer who took Dallin to see Greta. According to him, the two people seem to be superior and subordinate rather than father and daughter.

"Oh?" Julien paused from pinching the bridge of his nose and said suspiciously, "Superior and subordinate?"

"That's what the police officer told me. I didn't see it with my own eyes, so I'm not sure about the details," Zach replied seriously.

Julien rubbed his thumb. "Did he mention why he thought so?"

"Yeah," Zach nodded, "he said that when Dallin saw Greta, he didn't look happy or excited at all. If he were not happy, he should be disappointed and angry with his daughter who caused such big trouble. He was not. He was calm when he saw Greta and acted as if she were an irrelevant person rather than his daughter.

"Is that so?" Julien murmured thoughtfully, dropping his eyes, and then asked, "What about Greta?"

"It was the same case with her. She didn't look happy at all. Any other daughter would be delighted to see her father. She was not. She was scared to see Dallin."

"Scared?"

Zach nodded. "Yeah, I asked the police officer, and he confirmed it was fear. In that occupation, he meets countless people. He couldn't be wrong about her expression."

Julien made no comments. It should be the case.

After a while, he said, "Go on."

Zach hummed and continued, "Greta was afraid of Dallin, and the fear should be from the bottom of her heart. According to the police officer, it should have been caused by something Dallin did to her. Moreover, when they met, Greta called him Mr. Sullivan rather than Dad. It surprised the police officer and made him wonder if they're really father and daughter."

The father was neither happy nor mad to see his daughter.

The daughter was not excited about her father's rescue but was terrified.

'This is not right.'

Julien narrowed his eyes and lost himself in thought.

'Greta is afraid of Dallin.

'Dallin has done something terrible to Greta.

'What kind of terrible things could a father do to his daughter?

'Could there be such a father?' He believed such fathers existed but not in great numbers.

'However sick Dallin is, he wouldn't harm his daughter.

'Unless they are not father and daughter!

'Not father and daughter...'

Once the idea crossed Julien's mind, his eyes glinted.

'Yeah, if they're not father and daughter, things will make more sense."

"Zach," Julien called out.

Zach straightened up. "Sir, what can I do for you?"

"Figure out a way to collect Greta's and Dallin's DNA," Julien ordered in a deep voice.

Zach realized the situation and asked, "Sir, are you suspecting..."

Julien hummed.

Zach took a breath. "That's impossible, but I don't get it. Why do they pretend to be father and daughter?"

Julien's eyes dimmed. "It's useless to think about this now. We'll figure it out."

"Yeah," Zach responded.

Julien rubbed his temples. "How was the meeting after I left?"

Zach immediately rolled his eyes.

'Now you remember the meeting and that you're the CEO of the company, boss?'

He was not that bold. Otherwise, he would have said it out.

In the end, he took a deep breath to calm down and replied with a standard smile, "Don't worry about it. Everything was fine. I presided over the meeting after you left." The meeting was not very important. Julien's absence was fine.

It could go on without him because the industries and amount of money involved were not many.

That was why Zach could preside over it.

If things were the other way around, Zach naturally could not host it.

Satisfied with the result, Julien hummed, "Okay, I'll catch you later."

With that, he casually hung up.

In the office of the Flint Corporation, Zach heard no more sounds from the phone and rolled his eyes.

'Boss, can't you at least tell me if you're coming to the office today before you hang up?

'There is a pile of files for you to sign!'

Zach turned to look at the documents that were piled up on Julien's desk and sighed.

'These documents are all urgent. Sir, when will you come back to take care of them? These are all money.'

Zach frantically scratched his hair.

After a while, he calmed down and indifferently looked at the documents.

'Whatever.

'This is Mr. Flint's company, and I'm not the one who loses money.

'Mr. Flint is not worried. Why should I be? I'm just an employee.'

Zach was relieved to think that way and left the office while humming a song.

At Shallow Bay, Julien put the phone down, sat down in the chair, put his hands on the desk, and crossed his fingers.

The lights were not on, and the curtains were closed, so the study was very dim.

Julien was shrouded in darkness. The expression on his face couldn't be seen. The air about him was mysterious and gloomy.

Just then, there was a knock on the door, followed by Sydney's soft voice. "Julien?"

Upon hearing that, Julien lifted his head, put his hands off the desk, and went to open the door.

Sydney looked at the dark room and then at the man. Her brows were wrinkled. "Why didn't you turn on the lights?"

"I forgot." Julien's thin lips parted as he replied.

Whether he forgot or deliberately kept it off, Sydney didn't press. Instead, she asked, "Feeling better?"

She meant if he had digested the hard truth of being trained to be a stand-in.

Julien's eyelids drooped. "Yeah."

"Your mother..."

"I don't blame her, but love no longer exists between her and me. There is only respect left," he said blandly. Although his mother had been nice to him, he could not tolerate the terrible thing she had done.

No mother should do that to their children.
