Chapter 100 –

(Gabriella)

"Okay, let's take a look and see how your babies are growing. It's still too early to tell the sex obviously, but hopefully we can get a few clear pictures for you both." The nurse said sweetly before turning to the screen and switching it on. I glanced at my husband, the anxious look in his eyes warming my heart as I squeezed his hand gently.

"I'm just going to lift your shirt." The woman explained, making me nod in approval as she pulled up my blue t-shirt, revealing the small bump hidden beneath it.

I'm about two and a half months along now and I can honestly say that my body has been changing pretty rapidly over the past two weeks. My belly now has an adorable bump but I guess it wouldn't be too noticeable to others just yet. Jamie loves to rub it every morning and night though..I swear his hands are glued to my stomach every chance he can get.

"You look so cute right now." He whispered against my ear, seeming to be in a much better mood now.

I know that whole Eva drama really made him upset..but I'm just hoping it was a one time type of incident. Maybe she just so happened to be there because it was a pretty big event..I'm hoping at least.

My brother seemed to be taken with her at first, but the moment I found out who she was, he picked up on it immediately.

"Okay, let's see if we can locate both heartbeats." The nurse said, pulling me from my through as she put some warm gel on my stomach before placing the wand down.

I couldn't help but hold my breath, trying not to make a single sound so I could hear the babies clearly..and boy did I.

Suddenly a loud whooshing sound filled the room, making me blow out all that air in a gasp as Jamie seemed to have the same reaction.

"Here is baby A..and yep, baby B."

The sound multiplied, making me smile brightly as Jamie stared down at my stomach in awe.

"Isn't it in-incredible b-baby?" I breathed, making Jamie nod slowly..he seemed like he was in some type of trance. Then the nurse pressed a few more buttons on the screen. While she began marking a few things down, Jamie leaned his face close to mine. Our eyes locking onto one another as he kissed me softly.

"Thank you..you truly have give me the entire world Gabriella and I could never ask for more." He whispered, making those tears that now filled my eyes spill over.

"I l-l-love you." I managed to choke out.

"I love you too Princess..more than anything." He stated before wiping my tears away and kissing my lips and cheeks once more.

I could see the nurse trying to fight a smile, her eyes focusing on the screen as she tried not to impose on our moment.

"Are you ready to see the babies now?" She asked us happily, making both Jamie and I nod eagerly.

He was as close to me as he could be without actually climbing onto the examination table.

"Well, if you look here...this is the first baby. Since there are two separate sacks, it means you are having faternal twins." The nurse explained, but we already knew about that since Jamie looked it up the moment we found out. I stared at the black and white screen, and sure enough I saw a tiny little blob thing. The head was big while the body was small and bean-shaped.

I gasped, my hand flying over my mouth as Jamie began to smile wider.

"Do you see it baby?" He asked me and I nodded my head up and down hastily.

"It's s-so c-c-cute." I stuttered, feeling overwhelmed as I laid eyes on one of our children for the first time ever.

"And here is baby b." The nurse said before showing us the next baby. They looked pretty much the same I won't lie, one just seemed to be upside down.

"Let me take a couple of measurements and then I can print out some pictures."

"Better print out a few extras..I'm sure dad will want more than one." Jamie stated, making me smile and nod in agreement as we watched the nurse fiddling around with the machine while explaining a few things to us. After getting our pictures, we were now heading down the elevator when Jamie pushed me into one of the corners.

"That was even more incredible than I ever imagined..seeing our children like that..and seeing a part of me is truly growing inside of you." He whispered, making my eyes widen as I peered up at him.

"I want to put many, many babies inside of you Gabriella Sinclair." He breathed, the warmth of his breath causing me to shudder as I let out a whimper.

"I can't wait to have a family with you..to start this life together and fall in love with you more and more each day.." He grumbled before pressing his lips agaisnt my neck.

Who knew talking about the future could be so sexy? Jeez..I swear my panties are soaked right now.

"You did so good in there..I think you deserve a reward later."

"A r-reward?" I choked out, making Jamie nod before smiling at me mischievously..but of course before he could elaborate, the elevator doors opened and my husband pulled me out of it..

Now we are standing infront of my father in laws house..ready for this "surprise" He has for us..

Of course I tried to delay things and seduce Jamie in the car..which he almost fell for, but his dad called and asked if we were coming inside or not.

So here I am..horny and hangry..waiting for Robert to open the door.

But it wasn't him who answered..and the person who did made all of my suspicious come true.

"Mom? What are you doing here?" Jaimie asked, making me glance towards Teresa knowingly as she tried not to smile.

"That's how you greet your mother?" She teased.

Jamie let out a sigh before hugging his mother as I quickly followed suit.

"Where's dad?" Jaimie asked, confusion clearly written all-over his face.

"He is checking on dinner. Come on in and sit down, we have a lot to catch up on." Teresa said and walked us towards the sitting room.

While we waited for Robert, Jamie and I told Teresa all about the appointment and even gave her some of the pictures. That's when Robert came striding in..and of course he had a huge smile on his face..one matching Teresa's exactly. Yep..that proves it.

"There's my beautiful daughter. How our my grandsons doing?" He asked, making Jamie roll his eyes.

"Dad..we don't know the gender yet." He grumbled, making Robert laugh.

"Just a hunch son. That's all..if they are girls, even better..especially if they take after their mother." He smiled brightly, and then proceeded to roll his eyes as Jamie pulled me closer to him possessively.

"Okay..enough of the chit chat..what's going on? Why did you ask us here?" Jamie blurted, making his mother click her tongue at his rude behavior.

"Can't your parents just invite you over for a visit?" Robert asked, egging Jamie on.

"Not when they are supposed to hate eachother." Jamie shot back, making me look at him with disapproval. Why was he being cranky all of a sudden?

"We never hated eachother Jamie.." Teresa whispered.

I glanced between them, sensing some weird hostility as I squeezed Jamie's hand in support...I know he might be blindsided by what they are about to say..

"In fact..your father and I..well..we have decided to give it another shot." Teresa said softly.

"Another shot at what?" Jamie blurted..and that's when I knew it really wasn't going to go well..he was in such denial about all of this that he hasn't even noticed his parents were holding hands..

"I've asked your mother to marry me son. We are getting back together." Robert dropped the bomb, making Jamie just sit there in silence.

I watched as his mouth opened and closed a few times, like he was trying to think of what to say.

"Well..congratulations. I wish you both the best of luck." He finally said before standing and pulling me up with him.

"We better get going early. Gabriella has been on her feet all morning." He suddenly stated before turning us around and leading me to the door.

"But..dinner is almost ready!" Teresa shouted behind us as Jamie didn't even bother to look back.

"Next time mom, you two enjoy yourselves." Jamie added cooly and walked straight to the car without uttering another word..

Yeah..I think he might not be handling this as well as I thought..
