Then she grinned and said, “Oh my. Sebastian sure knows how to take care of people! Steph must have been exhausted last night, you should pamper her more. You could learn a thing or two from your uncle. He may not have achieved much in life, but he knows how to care for others. He’s been good to me! With him, I’ve never had a rough time or taken any crap. When a man can care, it’s easy to keep the peace in a marriage. Here, Steph, look at what I’ve found for you!”

Sebastian raised his eyebrows but said nothing

Jaxon was so jealous he could barely eat.

Julia watched Ava’s fawning behavior and felt her stomach churn.

She was so shameless! Fawning over Stephanie like this….

And it’s not even certain that Stephanie will marry Sebastian! Was this worth it?

“It’s nothing I really like you. We should keep in touch more!”

Jaxon couldn’t help but roll his eyes and said, “Is there a need to keep in touch? Have I agreed to this marriage?”

“Dad… what are you talking about! Can’t Steph and I have some private communication… even if Steph doesn’t end up joining the Ingram family, can’t we still be friends?”

You have to admit, Ava is quite the character.

She’ll suck up to whoever benefits her.

She doesn’t care about her own dignity, after all, her children’s future is more important.

‘But to this little girl, Skyline Corporation is less valuable than me. Or do you think… Skyhine Corporation is more important than me?”
