Chapter 231 Collective Amnesia
Ainsley's expression became more and more serious.
But no matter how she interrogated Manuel, he did not say a word. His fists were tightly clenched together, and the joints turned white.
And Ainsley asked the same questions crazily over and over again. Finally, under the emotional expressions of the two, Manuel opened his eyes, and his eyes were bloodshot.
"Nothing!" He growled.
Ainsley regained her calmness. Even though she could not ask the final question, she knew the
answer.
Maybe she and Manuel had known each other a few years ago, and it was even earlier than
meeting Cason. How could she forget all this?
"Manuel, did we know each other before?" Ainsley's gaze turned blank.
Manuel knew that he did not reveal any important clues, so he did not answer her. He just shook
his head.
"Manuel, why do you not dare to answer me?" Ainsley did not know how to ask.
Perhaps, everything she had imagined was true, but Manuel did not want her to know.
There was a high possibility that apart from the memory loss, something bigger was hidden.
Ainsley wanted to ask more, but Manuel stood up and fled.
In the Gage's home.
Serina had been kept at home by Koen. She watched gloomily as Brady and Koen played chess in
the living room. She dozed off out of boredom.
"Grandpa, I want to go out,” she said listlessly.
"Brady, you are a bad player. I've already taken so many of your pieces out!" Koen placed a piece on
the table.
"Grandpa! Did you hear what I said?"
"Koen, look at how bored your granddaughter is. Hurry up and let her out." Brady looked at Serina and couldn't help laughing.
"No, she will make a fuss if I do that. It was not easy for her condition to stabilize." Koen glanced at

Serina, "Stay here. If you are bored, go to the company with your brother tomorrow morning. You are not young anymore. It is time for you to manage the company's affairs." "What?" Serina widened her eyes and immediately became spirited. "Grandpa, I don't want it!"
She hated the company's affairs the most. She saw her brother busy every day, and sometimes, he wouldn't come back home until the middle of the night. She did not want to work in the company. Brady joked, "Serina, your grandfather is trying to make you an heir."
"Brady, please talk to my grandfather. I don't have the talent to manage the company," Serina said
in an aggrieved tone.
"If you can't do it, then learn Irene," Koen said.
"Grandpa, you should be satisfied. You already have an elite like my brother. How would I be able to
manage the company?" Serina sighed.
"I know you can't do it, but you can't stay at home all the time. From tomorrow on, learn from Irene." Koen's tone was unnegotiable.
Serina knew that she could not resist, so she was forced to accept it.
Her mind was filled with the image of Ainsley. She wanted to go out and have fun with her.
Ainsley was her psychologist, but it was difficult to meet her because Koen wanted her to stay away from Ainsley.
The weather was mild. Serina woke up early and went to the company with Irene.
After arriving at the company, Irene said to Serina thoughtfully, "Serina, I know you don't like to manage the company, but your grandpa asked me to take you with me. How about this? Stay in my office for today. I have to go to the factory at noon."
"Irene, can I?" Serina looked at Irene gratefully.
"Of course."
"Irene, can I go out for a while? I promise I will come back soon. You know that Grandpa has been keeping me indoors. I am so bored," Serina said in a sad tone.
"Alright, but you must come back early."
"Alright! Thank you, Irene."
Half an hour later, Serina was at the entrance of the Psychological Counseling Room at the University of Washington. Coincidentally, no one was there. Get Bogos
"Ainsley, I haven't seen you for a long time. I miss you so much. Did you miss me?"
"Of course, but I seldom heard from you."
Serina curled her lips and said, "Grandpa locked me up at home. I can't contact you."
Ainsley asked Serina to sit down. She asked with concern, "How have you been? Did you have any
nightmares?"
Serina shook her head. "I didn't, but I have been having some strange dreams."
"What kind?"
"I always dream of going to the amusement park with you, and I see you and my brother..." Serina's
face turned red.
"What?" Ainsley was curious.
Serina turned around and said embarrassedly, "I dreamed that you and my brother were kissing." Ainsley also blushed. She did not expect Serina to say it.
However, she could sense something through this dream. She guessed that she couldn't just be Manuel's friend. In Manuel's subconscious, they were dating, and in Serina's dream, they were kissing. These were things that only couples would do.
However, was this true?
"Serina, come over and finish this test." Ainsley pushed the test paper to Serina.
It was a psychological test that Ainsley found for Serina. She had not treated Serina for such a long
time, so she did not know how her mental state was right now.
Serina picked up the pen and went away to write while Ainsley dialed a number.
"Hello? Is this Mr. Strato?"
She pondered for a moment and continued, "Mr. Strato, have you ever seen a collective amnesia?"
"Are you talking about the Mandela effect? The Mandela effect is a false collective amnesia. From a psychological perspective, it should be a memory error in the subconscious," Zane analyzed. Ainsley did not hide anything. She told Zane all the strange things that happened in the past few
days, including the photos and the bracelet in the villa.
"Based on what you said, there is a possibility of a memory disorder, but how can you be sure that the photos and bracelet you saw were from a few years ago? Moreover, from the narration of Serina and Manuel, their subconscious was tricking them," Zane said.
Ainsley thought about his words carefully. What if she was wrong from the beginning?
After all, she and Serina did not have any memories of her relationship with Manuel, and Matteo
and Manuel did not want to mention it.
Zane continued, "Do you know about the parallel universe?"
"Yes, but it has always been a heated argument."
