Chapter 10 Post-Nuptial Agreement

In the shower, Jennifer's head became clearer. She suspected that Ivanwas waiting for her to fall into the trap.

He wasn't at all surprised to see her just now.

Ten minutes later, Jennifer walked out of the bathroom. Mary waswaiting for her outside. Was this to prevent her from looking for thechildren?

"Ms. Brooks, have some hot tea.” Marry handed the tea with bothhands.

Jennifer reached out and took it. "Thanks." She drank it and handed theempty cup back to Marry.

"Mr. Marsh is waiting for you in the study on the second floor. Goupstairs and turn right."

Jennifer had a bad feeling. "Okay."

She went upstairs with uncertainty. Would Ivan let the children go? Itdidn't look like so.

Whatever! She must fight for her children!

Turning right upstairs to the study, she glanced at the man standing infront of the floor-to-ceiling window.

He really got an amazing posture.

Hearing the footsteps at the door, Ivan turned around, fixing his eyes onJennifer's exquisite little face, "I did the paternity test.” His voice waslow and he went straight to the point.

"I don't deny that the children are yours," Jennifer replied fearlessly,standing still, bravely facing him. "So what?"

"Sign this.” van handed Jennifer an agreement, “This is the only wayyou can see your children.”

Jennifer was shocked when she saw the words written on theagreement. "Post-nuptial Agreement"!

“I've got the marriage licenses. Someone will send them over earlytomorrow morning." Ivan said, “This is a post-nuptial agreement, if youcan accept it, sign it. Tell me which item you can't accept, and we cantalk about it."

Jennifer was stunned.

She chuckled, unable to suppress the ridiculous thoughts in her heart,“I'm here to take the children away, not to marry you!"

“This is an order, not a negotiation." Ivan didn't sound angry, “There iszero chance that you can take back the children. The court willdefinitely give them to me. If you don't believe it, you can try."

Jennifer tried to stay calm. The person she was facing was Ivan, whobasically controlled Arkpool City. There was nothing he couldn't do.Jennifer panicked, feeling passive.

“Think about it." lvan's eyes darkened, "But I have to remind you that Inever fail to get the things that I want.”

Hearing this, Jennifer felt deflated.

In the next few seconds, time seemed to freeze.

Jennifer reached out for the agreement and looked up at Ivan. "Whyare you bundling yourself to marriage?"

"Because the children can't be kept secret forever." Ivan confessed, "Idon't want to be regarded as a playboy.” Because of his father, hecares a lot about that.

"But a marriage without love cannot be bound by an agreement.”Jennifer tried to persuade him to give up.

The man's cold handsome face was suddenly covered with frost,“You've given birth to my children behind my back and hiding it from mefor seven years. How shall I punish you for that?"

Jennifer was a little afraid. To see the children, she could onlycompromise. She must not provoke him.

She looked at the agreement in front of his face.

1. Go home before 7 p.m.

2. In front of the children, we must play the roles of a loving couple.

3. Not allowed to have intimate contact with the opposite sex. Beingphotographed by the media will damage the reputation of the Marshfamily. If that happened, we would divorce, and you will never seechildren again.

4. We will announce to the public that we had secretly married sevenyears ago.

Finishing reading, Jennifer frowned slightly, “Those are all to restrainme. What about you? Can you really abide by these rules?"

Jennifer turned around and saw Alfie and Diana come into the studyhand in hand. She crouched down excitedly and reached out to holdthe children.

Alfie said with excitement, "Daddy said you and him are married. Is thattrue?"
