Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love
Chapter 131 Come Home With Me

Having heard what she said, Bobby nodded and acquiesced with a heavy heart, "Yes."

Nancy kissed Bobby's little face, full of motherly love, and stood up. "Your daddy's here now. You should go with him,"

she told Bobby while pointing to where Charles was.

"Mommy, can you please come home with us?" Bobby begged pitifully, all the while looking at Nancy with big pleading eyes.

"I'm sorry, Bobby. Mommy can't go with you because I have something else to do. You should go home with your daddy now." As much as Nancy would like to maintain a calm appearance, she could not keep her emotions in check. With a trembling voice, she said, "Let's go, Nadia."

"See you again tomorrow, Bobby," Nadia said while waving her little hand as she bid Bobby goodbye.

Nancy held on to Nadia's hand to give her strength and left

"Daddy..." Bobby hollered as he ran towards his father. He grabbed his hand and shook it. Charles looked a bit lost.

Charles was startled. After regaining his composure, he said absentmindedly, "Huh? What is it?"

"Mommy has already left with Nadia. Should we go after them?" asked Bobby anxiously.

"No, Daddy's a little tired. We should go home now."

"Okay, if you say so."

In reality, Charles wasn't tired at all. He was just too annoyed with himself and the situation they were in.

As much as he loved Nancy, he couldn't keep her by his side.

At the moment, he just wanted to drown his sorrows in alcohol.

After sending Bobby home, he immediately called Jay up.

"Jay, I want to go to a bar. Meet me at Breeze Bar."

Hearing this, Jay could do nothing but scratch his head in exasperation. Doris was supposed to meet his parents tonight, but she had cold feet at the last minute and chickened out. All of a sudden, she didn't want to go. With nothing else to do, he planned to go out on a date with her.

So instead of meeting his parents, he wanted to invite her to watch a movie. He heard that a romantic movie was showing.

If Doris got immersed in the exciting movie scene, he was hoping she might be touched and throw herself into his arms.

"Be here in twenty minutes," said Charles in his usual domineering attitude.

Jay hesitated, but before he could even think of an alibi, Charles had already ended the call.

Jay couldn't let Charles go to a bar on his own. He would have to take a rain check on his planned movie night with Doris.

When he arrived at the bar, Charles was already there.

Several bottles of whisky and Remy Martin, all hard liquor, were already laid on the table.

"Charles, are you trying to get yourself drunk? How about we have some red wine instead of these hard drinks?" Looking at the empty bottles on the table, Jay was a little scared by how much alcohol Jay had already drunk.

"Real men don't drink red wine! If you are a real man, drink this!" Charles said while opening a bottle of whisky.

Jay winced a little bit.

As much as he tried, he wouldn't be able to hold his alcohol on the face of such hard liquors.

"Charles, I'll stick with the red wine, and you drink the hard alcohol, okay?" Jay tried to negotiate with Charles, all the while thinking of a way out.

Without further ado, Charles poured two glasses of hard alcoholic drinks and passed it on to Jay.

Jay had no choice but to drink against his will.

Knowing that he couldn't refuse, he ordered some more dishes and desserts.

However, he had a low tolerance for alcohol that day. After just two glasses, he was totally drunk.

Beside him, Charles was even more drunk.

Intoxicated, he leaned on the sofa and asked, "Do you know what all women think of every day, Jay?

"The poor girls want to have plenty of money, while the women without boyfriends are in search of men..." Jay giggled in jest.

"Since Nancy has no boyfriend, who do you think she is thinking about? Who does she have in her heart?" With these thoughts, Charles' mood became more gloomy. He took another bottle and resumed drinking.

"You should stop drinking. It's bad for your health. You'll die young if you continue drinking like this." Concerned, Jay reached out his hand and took the bottle from Charles' hand.

But he lost his grip on the bottle and it fell with a loud bang. Wine spilled out and their bodies were both sprinkled with it.

"Hahaha... "Unbelievable! Look at you, Charles. You are really drunk. Hahaha..." laughed Jay mockingly.

"No, I'm not drunk! You are!" Charles refuted and tried to reach for the bottle again.

"Stop, you already had more than enough. You can't drink anymore." Jay looked around and ordered, "Waiter, clean this up and take the alcoholic drinks away"

A waiter hurriedly cleaned up and took all the alcohol away.

Charles was so drunk that he could hardly open his eyes. Because of all the alcohol he had consumed, he was suffering from a stomachache.

'Tm calling Nancy... I'll ask her to pick you up." Jay took the phone from Charles and dialed Nancy's number.

Meanwhile, Nancy felt uneasy when she saw Charles in the kindergarten earlier that day. He was standing there stiffly, obviously feeling awkward. Remembering his countenance, she had lost her appetite and wasn't in the mood for dinner. She just took a bath and prepared to go to bed. Suddenly, she was interrupted when her phone rang. Looking at the caller ID, she was surprised to see Jay's name flash on the screen. Her initial reaction was that Jay might have the wrong number.

"Mr. Fang, I think you have called the wrong number. This is Nancy speaking, not Doris."

"No, no, no. It's correct. I'm looking for you, not Doris." Hearing Jay's slurred speech, she could easily tell that he had drunk a lot.

What's up? Why are you calling me?" Nancy inquired patiently.

"Charles and I are in the Breeze Bar. He is drunk, and so am I. We can't drive ourselves home. You have to come and pick him up at Breeze," Jay blabbered.

Nancy didn't say anything on the line; she remained quiet.

Jay assumed her silence as an affirmative reply and hung up.

Bewildered, Nancy sat down on the sofa while holding her phone. She was lost in thought. Should she, or should she not? After a while, she finally decided not to pick Charles up.

She was still worried about him, though.

She thought for a while and decided to call Dorothy to let her know.

"Oh, Miss Ning. It's already late. Why are you calling me up? asked Dorothy arrogantly.

"Charles is drunk and he is in Breeze. He cannot go home on his own because he can't drive. Miss Zhuang, you better go pick him up yourself." Nancy just wanted the call to be over with and hanged up after saying what she had to.

Dorothy ground her teeth in anger. 'Why didn't Charles call me up directly when he got drunk?' she thought.

Since Nancy was the one who informed her, Charles must have called her up instead of her. Nancy only called her up to gain her favor.

"Humph! Nancy, no matter what you do, Charles could only be mine!" Dorothy changed her clothes and drove

to the bar.

After hanging up the call with Dorothy, Nancy called Doris up.

"Why are you still up? Don't you know it's now midnight?" Doris said grumpily, having been awoken by Nancy's call.

"Jay is drunk and he is at Breeze. You should go pick him up because he can't drive," Nancy briefly told her.

"Oh, god! Why do I have to go? I want to sleep now!" Doris hung up, still half asleep and in a daze. She lay down and went back to sleep on the quilt.

However, in less than two minutes, Nancy's call sank in. She sat up when she realized what Nancy said.

"Did she say Jay's drunk?"

She got so anxious and could do nothing but rack her brains as she clutched her head. She couldn't go pick Jay up herself. The most logical solution would be to ask for Sarah's help.

After all, she and Jay were siblings. As such, they being seen together would not create any superfluous rumor.

She then decided to send a message to Sarah. "Your brother is drunk. Please go pick him up at Breeze."

Right after Doris had sent her message, Sarah immediately replied, "He is your boyfriend. Why are you asking me to pick him up? I am not my brother's keeper. I won't do it."

To emphasize her point, she even sent a snicker emoji.

Doris was left in a dilemma. What should she do? She couldn't just leave Jay alone in a bar at midnight, especially in his drunken state.

"Damn it! You bring me nothing but trouble!" Despite her anger, she changed her clothes and drove to the bar.

When she got there, she saw an inebriated Charles being supported by Dorothy out of the private room.

How come Nancy wasn't here?

She was the one who called her up.

Why didn't she come?

Seeing Dorothy's proud face disgusted Doris.

"Huh! You know he doesn't love you, but you still keep on clinging on to him and pester him!" mocked Doris.

Dorothy maintained her arrogant stance and snorted, "You poor thing! I know you are just jealous of me!"

"Well, Dorothy, except for your money, do you think you have anything else to offer? You have an undesirable body, you look ugly, and you are a narcissistic psycho. Tut, compare to Nancy, you are nothing! When will the truth sink in your thick skull?" Doris chided while sneering at her in disdain.
