Nancy looked up and saw Charles standing lively in front of her.

The man had said something too dubious.

"Oh?" Dylan was apparently embarrassed.

"Mr. Fu, you must be mistaken. There are so many other women here, like Lena and Eileen. You must have bought that for them, right?" Nancy said with a smile.

Charles glanced at Nancy and said, "I remember buying you a B-cup last time, which was a little small for you. I took note and bought a D-cup this time, which should certainly suit you. I'll gladly help you try it out when we get home!"

'Bastard!1 Nancy thought to herself. She was too angry to even speak. Nancy found Charles to be distastefully cheeky.

"What? Did I say something wrong?" Charles teased once more.

That was not the first time that Charles had ordered her secretary to buy clothes for Nancy. His secretary knew what garment would fit Nancy perfectly. Hence, Charles did know her size.

"Mr. Fu, you mother would not be happy to hear these things... Can you tell me why you are doing this?" Nancy said.

"Mr. Fu, I've been told that you two had already broken up. You should be more considerate. If you have another woman in your life, then let go of Miss Ning!" Dylan interjected. He was really confused about their current situation.

Clearly irritated, Charles said, "Who do you think you are?

Get out of here!" "Alas, why are you so unreasonable?" Charles was usually overbearing, but even that was bit much for his standard.

Dylan was young and rash. He didn't bother to mind his own words when talking to Charles.

"Dylan, do not forget your place. Always remember that you are in no position to reason with me!" Charles said rather gloomily. The man held Nancy by the hand, and then dragged her out of the room. Nancy was hurt by how violently she had been grabbed. She staggered and furiously shouted, "Let go of me, you bastard!"

Charles bleakly stared at Nancy as he continued to drag her out.

"Wow, Charles! You are so cool!" Jay exclaimed.

"Why are you here, Jay?" Doris was not even surprised to see Charles and Nancy in that predicament. Even Doris knew how overbearing that man could be. More so, she knew that Charles could not let Nancy meet any new respectable bachelors.

Time and time again, Nancy had purposely provoked him. It was not difficult to imagine that things would turn out the way they did.

Doris came looking for Jay as soon as those two had left the premises. She had no idea that Jay was already inside.

In fact, Jay had been inside for quite a while. He had already managed to put the two children in the leisure area. He idly sat on the sofa with a glass of red wine in hand. Doris watched the man check out every beautiful woman who walked by him.

When Charles and Nancy storm out of the place. Jay waved his hands to Bobby and Nadia.

The kids trailed after Charles and Nancy.

"Daddy! Mommy! Wait for us," the kids shouted as they ran.

Their little voices startled everyone.

Angelina's face fell grim. She could not begin to understand the whole fiasco. Angelina intended to set her son up with a prominent lady, instead Charles flaunted his 'family' to everyone in that party. Well, everyone knew that Charles had a son. But having Nancy and little Nadia in the equation changed everything. Without a doubt, many would be convinced that they were a family.

Angelina suddenly grew concerned of how people would think of their entire family

She struggled to fathom the conclusions others might draw from that encounter.

"Charles, stop! I'm the host of this party. Why would you storm out like that? You embarrassed the whole family!" Her son and Nancy held hands as they were followed by two children. Angelina could not reconcile how they seemed like a perfect family.

'Does he even care about me? About his real family?' Angelina thought bitterly. She could not bear how her son seemingly ignored her on purpose.

Charles and Nancy stopped momentarily. The couple turned around and watched Bobby and Nadia, who followed them closely.

The man then called, "Bobby, Nadia..."

"Kids, why are you here?" Nancy asked, clearly surprised.

Nancy was delighted to know that the children were in the party as well. However, she began to grow anxious about how Angelina would feel.

"Godfather brought us here," Nadia replied to her mother.

"Where is your godfather?" Charles asked.

"Hmm...where is he?" The girl turned around to look for Jay, but she couldn't see him from where she stood.

Doris was nowhere to be seen either.

"Where are godmother and godfather?" Bobby asked curiously.

"I didn't even see them." Charles had been socializing with several people throughout the party. But as soon as Nancy walked into the room, Charles gave her all of his attention.

Just like that, Charles lost interest of every other person-except Nancy, of course.

Now that Doris was pregnant, Jay knew that he had to be more careful with his words and actions. After all, even their marriage was a secret. They both knew that it was not the right moment to publicize their situation.

As soon as Jay saw the kids follow Charles and Nancy, he decided that it would be best for Doris and him to sneak out of the hotel.

"I heard that Charles and Nancy had already broken up their engagement. So why are they still together?" "Never trust whatever rumor you hear!"

"You know that Angelina despises Nancy, right? She actually prefers Dorothy over that girl... But that Dorothy is troublesome. She has done so many questionable things to get her way, without the slightest regard for the people around her. Everyone knows this, right?" "Yes, I know. That was actually the reason why Angelina threw this party!" "What a pity... But Charles only seems to be interested in Nancy!" The rumors spread like wildfire.

"Forget it. Let's stop looking for them and go!" Nancy just wanted to leave as soon as possible.

"Okay," Charles said. He then held Nadia in his arms.

"You can't leave, Charles!" Angelina angrily shouted as she marched towards them.

Startled, Nadia wrapped her arms around Charles' neck.

"Daddy, grandma is very angry..." Nadia said, her voice trembling in fear.

"Don't be afraid, Nadia," the man said to the little girl. Charles confronted Angelina and said, "Mom, there are so many people here. Why are you making a scene?"

"How dare you ask me that? I've fixed this party solely for you, but you did not even bother to talk with any of the women I invited. How can you leave and disregard all my efforts? If you leave this party, then I would have to disown you. The ball is in your court, Charles!" Angelina said furiously.

Angelina had slaved for days in order to have the perfect party. The guests came out of respect for the Fu family, and Charles' actions had caused the family a great deal of embarrassment. Nancy knew Angelina very well.

Angelina was usually over-the-top hysterical. Nancy knew that Charles's mother would hate her even more if the man went with her instead of staying for the party.

Nancy had never been scared of that lady. However, Nancy opted to be more considerate towards her; especially because Angelina had just began menopause.

And so Nancy said, "Charles, how about you stay here a little longer? The people inside were very fond of you, and it's really not appropriate for you to leave. Just wait for the party to end!" "Daddy, I want you to go home with Mommy!" Bobby said.

"Let's all go home together, Daddy!" Nadia echoed.
