Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love
Chapter 267 Deep Regrets

"It's funny, Charles, really. Women rarely catch your attention. Why don't you spend some time with Lilian tonight? It's on me. Come here, Libby."

"Yes, I'm coming, Mr. Fang." Libby smiled seductively before she sat beside him.

She then picked up the cocktail on the tea table. With excitement shining through her eyes, she said, "I think we were destined to meet and have fun tonight. I'd like to propose a toast to Mr. Fang. Thank you for choosing to spend the evening with me and Lilian."

They had been barmaids for a month.

Most of the other girls who worked here for some time had regular customers. As newcomers, they could only accompany new customers with whom they would start to build connections.

Every profession had its own rules, and being a barmaid was not as easy as it is perceived by the outside world.

It was particularly difficult for girls who were new in the profession. They were still figuring out how to deal with customers. Plus, they frequently get molested. Feeling like they had no choice and nowhere else to go, they swallowed the humiliation and pretended to be happy.

After all, they were poor and desperate.

So tonight, they served Charles and Jay like they were gods.

Libby and Lilian were very careful out for fear of offending them.

Charles focused on drinking wine and just occasionally asked about their village.

However, Jay had never been a man who followed the rules, or perhaps he felt suppressed by Doris for a long time so he wanted to enjoy some freedom. He was living in the moment, enjoying the company of the barmaid. He felt so relaxed, just laughing and drinking wine.

Charles didn't mind as long as Jay didn't do anything out of line. He remained quiet for the rest of the evening.

Meanwhile, Nancy and Doris had already gone through a number of bars and nightclubs. But they didn't see either Charles' or Jay's car.

It was almost midnight, and Nancy was starting to feel dozy.

Doris, on the other hand, was anxiously biting her lips, furious.

"Doris, I think we should call it a night. I can't go on looking for them anymore. Let's go home," exhorted Nancy.

"I don't think so, Nancy. You said we wouldn't stop until we replace them, but until now we still don't have a clue. Where could they have possibly gone to?"

Something was off. It was getting deep into the night, yet even the phones of both men could not be reached.

"Nancy, where else could they be? Did they check into a hotel with some bimbos?" Doris was starting to look dreadful and embittered.

She couldn't help but picture such an awful scenario. Jay said that he would just go out for a drink. Doris expected that it would be easy to locate him should she need to bring him home. But they'd already been to most of the clubs in the city. Was Jay really planning to abandon her?

Nancy didn't know to respond so she just remained silent. They'd been looking for the men for hours now.

Doris wouldn't spend the whole night searching for Jay, would she?

If they really had to, Nancy could manage to stay up all night; it was Friday night anyway. She could sleep in on the weekend. But Doris was a completely different case. She was pregnant. Staying up late and roaming around the city at night was dangerous both for her and the baby!

If anything bad happened to her, she would regret it.

With this in mind, Nancy started the car.

"Nancy, are we really just going to let this go? If we go home like this, it means we're tolerating their atrocious behavior. We can't just let them get away and pretend like they didn't do anything wrong!" Doris had always struggled with impatience. The situation was really getting on her nerves. "Why do I feel so disgusted?"

"We shouldn't assume, Doris. We don't have any evidence, do we?" Nancy thought about it for a while. Charles didn't seem like a man accustomed to folly, but Doris' suspicion made her think twice. She had a point, after all. Jay's urging could eventually make him give in.

"Damn it! If I replace them, they're dead meat!" Doris shouted in rage.

"We can just leave. There is no need to kill anyone," Nancy snorted, amused.

Doris gasped in response. As she turned her head to peer outside the window, she chanced upon Jay's Hummer. What a coincidence!

It had to be Jay's. There were only three units of its kind all over the world. One was owned by Jay while the other two were purchased by two mysterious figures from other countries.

Jay liked his Hummer very much. In fact, it was his favorite. It was the only car he drove since he bought it.

"Nancy, Nancy! Stop the car, stop the car..." Doris almost stuttered in panic. She was disconcerted.

"Wait, what? Why?" asked Nancy, stepping on the brake.

"I saw Jay's car. Look! Over here. Do you see the black Hummer? The white Lotus parked next to the Hummer, is it Charles'?" Doris asked, her voice trembling.

Nancy leaned in to get a better view. Indeed, it was Charles' white Lotus.

"So these two bastards deliberately chose a low profile bar to evade us! Unbelievable!" Doris angrily opened the door and got out of the car.

"Hey, are we really going in like this?" Nancy was hesitant. She was apprehensive about seeing the two men doing something appalling. She was beginning to feel outraged, but she was more concerned abou Doris's temperament should she see Jay doing anything obscene. She would be too upset. She might make a scene!

In the past, she would have just let her do as she pleased. But she could not do the same this time. Doris was pregnant!

What if something bad happened to the baby?

Doris slammed the door with a deafening sound. "Yes, I'll go in like this. I will confront him and demand a straight answer as to whether he wants to have this baby or not!" Doris pointed at her bulging belly. "If he doesn't want the baby anymore, I wouldn't have it either! I'll have an abortion and break up with him!"

Doris could not be stopped. As soon as she was done talking, she began walking hurriedly towards the bar. Nancy followed her closely.

At this time, Charles and Jay were already drunk. Charles had been insisting to go back home, but Jay wouldn't yield. Instead, he continued to clutch Libby's hand and said, "Come on, girl, let's have one more shot!" "Oh, yes, Mr. Fang. Let's drink some more!" Libby was so drunk that her face turned red and her eyes narrowed into slits.

Charles remained silent. He lit a cigarette and smoked casually.

Lilian sat beside him quietly.

None of them said a word.

Soon enough, Nancy and Doris were inside the bar.

"Excuse me, ladies. How can I help you?" The receptionist came over and asked politely.

"Tell me, which room is Jay in?" Doris asked straightforwardly.

The receptionist was surprised to hear Jay's name. She looked at Doris from her head down to her toes, judging her to be well-dressed. With a charming smile on her face, she said, "Mr. Fang is in Room 202. Would you like me to accompany you?"

"No, just give me the key to Room 201," Doris replied.

"Okay, ma'am." The receptionist took out the key of Room 201 and handed it over to Doris.

"Charge all our orders tonight on Jay's account," instructed Doris who obviously thought it through.

"Alright, ma'am." The receptionist assumed that Doris was someone who had close relations with Jay. Otherwise, she wouldn't call him by his first name.
