Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love
Chapter 270 Two Little Girls

"Mr. Fu, I don't understand what I did wrong?" The receptionist looked perplexed. She didn't quite understand what she did wrong that night.

It was clear to them that the receptionist was responsible for what had happened to Nancy.

"Don't give me excuses! You're the one fault for what happened to her!" Charles then lifted Nancy in his arms and walked out.

"Charles, wait. Let me explain, it's not the receptionist's fault. It was Doris's idea..." Nancy was still in a daze. But she tried her best to defend the receptionist while she could.

"Nancy, shut up. Don't you ever mention this again! If you wanted a male prostitute that badly, I don't mind being your male prostitute tonight!" Charles opened the passenger seat door of the car and threw Nancy inside.

"Ouch!" she cried, as her head knocked off the back of the seat.

Charles took a quick glance at her to see if she was alright. He then fastened her seat belt.

He pursed his lips and got inside the car.

As they drove off, a gust of wind blew in from the car window. Nancy was still a bit drunk from the alcohol and the wind on her face made her feel dizzier.

"You're the worst, Charles. You are the most terrible man in the world. I hate you so much. I hope you know that," Her eyelids grew heavier and heavier. Until she couldn't keep them open anymore and slept. Charles frowned. He then stepped on the gas and drove off on the asphalt road.

He couldn't understand what would lead this woman, who had always disliked going to bars, to drink there. Although it was apparent that Doris had persuaded her.

A lot of time had passed until Doris was brought back to her senses. Nancy and Charles had already left when she started sobering up.

Jay looked at her with a sullen expression. "Are you satisfied with what you've done, Doris?"

"What are you talking about, Jay? I never knew that men were the only ones allowed to go to bars!" Doris shouted at him in anger.

Jay sighed, "Yes, women can enter bars. But you're pregnant, Doris. Do you think it would be safe for you to enter places like that?" Jay scolded, as he crossed his arms in disappointment. "Oh! But it's okay for you to come here?" She glared, as she rebuked him.

"I'm a man!" Jay contested.

"Well, you definitely are a man. A very irresponsible man in fact! While your wife is pregnant you decided to go to bars to look for other women. Jay, I want you to give me an explanation, right now! I won't let you off the hook that easily!" Doris commanded; she then glared at Libby and Lilian.

"Why are you still here?" Jay drank a lot that night, but as soon as he saw Doris, he immediately sobered up.

"No, Jay, don't let them go just yet. Weren't you having such a good time with them? Why did you stop playing as soon as I arrived? Oh, by the way, what are your names?" asked Doris.

"My name is Libby and her name is Lilian!" Libby was the talkative one, while Lilian was the shy one.

Lilian bit her lips shyly.

"Libby, Lilian, I like your names. Have you met Jay? He's a very famous playboy from the city. He's very handsome. Isn't he?" Doris was determined to expose Jay.

She set up a trap, and Libby fell into it with ease.

"Yes! He's very handsome!" Libby answered almost immediately.

Jay looked up and sighed. Libby was absolutely stunning, but she was such a halfwit!

"Come on, Doris. Let's go home!" Jay stretched out his hand to hold Doris's.

"Of course we'll go home! I just need to ask for her phone number before we go. Libby, can you give me your phone number? I'll add you on WeChat. Remember to accept my request." Doris then took out her phone.

"Okay." Libby then reiterated her phone number to Doris.

Doris then added her on WeChat.

"From now on, whenever Mr. Fang comes here to play, you must have to take good care of him for me. Do you understand?" Doris looked at the girl, whose face was red from embarrassment. "Yes!" Libby promptly agreed.

"Don't drag them into this. They're innocent. Now stop messing with them and let's go!" Jay insisted, as he gestured to Doris to go.

"Bye, Libby, Lilian. I'll see you later." Doris waved, as she bid them goodbye.

"Bye!" Libby waved back with a smile.

Jay then dragged Doris outside.

"Libby, did that woman's smile seem a bit suspicious?" Lilian told Libby quietly.

"Well, as long as she pays us, I don't see why we should be afraid of her!" Libby said casually.

Once they got to the car, Jay opened the passenger seat door and gestured to Doris. "Get in!" "Just so you know, Jay, I'm not scared of you!" She then got in the car and slammed the door. Jay then sat in the driver's seat.

"There is an old saying. A leopard cannot change its spots. You, Jay, are living proof of it! I've only been pregnant for a short time. You couldn't even wait until after my pregnancy to flirt with women in bars? Why are you such an asshole? Those two girls are very young and you couldn't let them go. Didn't you think for a second how much of an asshole you were being?"

"I was just a bit drunk. Can you stop making a bid deal out of it?" Jay said apologetically.

"I know that drinking is just an excuse so that you can entertain other women!" Doris sneered.

"Well, If you say so, then it must be true!" He had been feeling worn out through the past couple of days because of Doris. So he decided that he'd rather not explain it to her any further.

But little did he know that the more he declined to explain, the angrier she became.

"It's because I'm telling the truth. That's why you won't even try to defend yourself, asshole!"

"I just enjoy looking at other women, okay? I'm a typical man who enjoys having fun with women. Can't I do that?" He was clearly annoyed by her constant accusations.

He knew that there was no point in reasoning with an angry woman, especially one who was pregnant!

The mood swings of pregnant women were terrible!

"You asshole, what did you just say?" Doris was furious.

The corners of his mouth tightened into a straight line.

"You are such an asshole! Do you think it's easy to be pregnant? You don't understand the struggle at all. You even indulged in the attention of other women while I'm pregnant. You didn't even apologize to me, and instead made up a lame excuse. I don't want to have a baby with you anymore..." she bellowed.

Jay kept silent.

"Are you stupid? Don't you know how hard it is to be pregnant? Why don't you try putting yourself in my shoes for a change? If you were able to get pregnant, why don't you give birth for me?" Doris then slammed the glove box compartment out of frustration.

Jay still remained silent.

He couldn't understand how a woman could be so emotional and irrational during her pregnancy.

But what he didn't know was that it was common for pregnant women to experience mood swings, which was often hard to control.

If he had explained the situation to her earlier, then this problem wouldn't have escalated.

However, he failed to do so. He thought that if he let her complain for a while, her rant would end faster.

But what he didn't expect was the 'hatred' that she had suppressed deep in her heart would awaken. A long forgotten hatred that would soon take revenge on him.
