Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love -
Chapter 73 Like A Young Boy
There was just the sound of Doris' breath hovering in Jay's ear.
Jay was having a sleepless night.
He tried again and again to suppress the evil thoughts in his heart and forced himself to get some sleep.
But the more he forced himself, the more restless he became.
The little beast named desire made his body increasingly restless, making his mouth dry and tongue scorched.
He touched Doris stealthily with his shivering hand but withdrew it quickly in case of being found by her.
He felt like a young, inexperienced boy who had just fallen in love.
It was so strange but beautiful.
Deeply immersed in his own thoughts, Jay fell asleep at dawn.
He had just fallen asleep for a while, but woke up suddenly as he felt an awful pain in his ear. He felt so distressed as if his ear were about to be torn apart. "Ouch, this is very painful!" Jay gasped in pain.
He opened his eyes, only to witness Doris sitting in front of him and pulling his ear.
She stared at him intensely, with a look of tearing him apart.
"Why are you lying on my bed?" she asked angrily.
She seemed nothing akin to her pitiful look last night.
Jay was not surprised at all. He was pretty much used to the changeable character of her.
"You brat, let go of me. Typhoon! Don't you remember anything?" Jay yelled at once.
Doris grinned wickedly. 'Of course, I remember it,' she sighed.
Her gentleness and softness of last night had all but disappeared with the typhoon.
She was tough today.
She valued herself very much, although she was careless and outgoing.
So how could she tolerate the fact that he slept just beside her?
She pulled his ear and forced him out of the bed.
Then, she said with a weird smile, "Now that the typhoon has stopped, you should go."
"You are so heartless!" Jay sighed, "I have accompanied you all night long. At least, you should have the courtesy to invite me for breakfast."
"No problem." Doris promptly complied to his request. "Well, I don't have much food at home except noodles. I'll cook them for you," she added. "Sounds great. Noodles! I knew it."
When Doris was along with him in his villa, she cooked noodles for him most of the mornings.
As he recalled this, his gut grumbled and his mouth salivated.
He hadn't eaten that for quite a few days and wanted to satisfy his craving appetite.
Doris proceeded to the kitchen.
Jay took out his phone and tried to contact Charles.
"Where on earth have Charles and Nancy gone? I can't get in touch with him. Oh God, please don't let anything happen to them."
Noticing that he couldn't get through Charles, he got a little anxious.
Doris suddenly stopped and asked, "Where have they been?"
Jay shook his head. "I heard he went searching for a child, on Nancy's request. The typhoon was so heavy last night and the signal was out, so I am not sure where they are now." Doris' heart was hanging in her throat. "Nancy, is she in some danger?"
Jay shook his head again and said, "Well, there must be some danger with such a big typhoon and a heavy rain. Fortunately, Charles is there along with her."
Doris snorted, "Men are the last people you can trust in the world!"
"What did you say?" Actually, if men weren't so reliable, then why did she ask him for help last night?
But, in the very next moment, Doris realized that her words were a little harsh and ungrateful.
So she changed the topic hastily. "You may make some preparations. After breakfast, I'll look for Nancy along with you."
"Aren't you going for work today?" Jay asked.
Doris rolled her eyes at him. "Working is important, but I think looking for Nancy is more important." "But, I thought you would get restless if you can't see manhood during your work!" Jay said a bit weirdly. Yes, he quite disliked her work.
The mere thought of she looking at a man's penis made him uncomfortable.
"Oh, just shut up! That's my job. You know nothing about it." As soon as she finished her words, she murmured, "You are the horny one. Don't accuse me."
"I know nothing?" Jay was rendered speechless.
He was a graduate in economics and management from Harvard University. And now, he was being asked to shut up and labelled as benighted. Truly, what an ignorant girl!
Not in the mood to argue with her and knowing that wouldn't serve any purpose, Jay went to the washroom to wash himself.
When he came out of the washroom, he saw that Doris had already cooked noodles.
"This is how ordinary the life of commoners is. Now, just eat some." Doris put the plate on the table and added some pickle relish to the top.
"I'm not that particular about food." Jay sat down at the table.
"Well, just like the way you choose girls, nothing in particular at all."
She was always skeptical about the women around him. Some of them were tall, some other were short; while some were heavy, some other were thin; and while some were ugly, some were indeed beautiful. "Don't you think all those women are pretty?" Jay quipped, lifting his eyebrows.
"Well, there is a saying, 'Beautiful bodies are all in the same shape, but interesting souls are one in a million."" "All your women are just pretty to look at. Well, what else do they have?" asked Doris, lowering he head and eating the noodles.
"Okay, let me tell you something, Doris. Being beautiful is absolutely the most attractive thing for a woman. What you said was nothing but a comfort to ugly women," Jay said seriously.
"Jay, whom are you alluding to? Who is ugly?" Her eyes widened, and the chopsticks in her hand were already hurtling towards him.
However, they were caught by Jay.
"All right, that would be it. Your soul is interesting. And you're very beautiful!"
His experience told him that this wasn't the best time to quarrel with her.
Otherwise, he might get kicked out by her at once, let alone having breakfast.
If it wasn't for the noodles in Doris' mouth, she would have laughed.
"Well, I have known you for such a long time, and I can tell you that this is the best you have said!"
At this time, Nancy and Charles had been driving on the asphalt road for a long time according to the directions provided by Jay.
On their way, Nancy seemed quite distressed. She was filled with tension and anxiety.
In a bid to relax her, Charles turned on the music.
But Nancy couldn't relax.
"Charles, do you think Nadia would have got affected by the severe typhoon last night?"
How could Charles know about that?
However, he was left with no other choice but to comfort Nancy, "No, she'll be fine."
"Are you sure?" She was in a panic, thinking about Nadia. She wanted to hear an exact answer. Although she knew that she couldn't get it from Charles now, she just wanted to talk to him. As if her daughter would be fine as long as he confirmed it to her.
"Yes. Nancy, I promise you, I will get her back for you," Charles said affirmatively.
Nancy rubbed her hands and looked out through the window anxiously.
They drove for a long time and it seemed to be noon. "Charles, look at that car."
On the muddy road, a red Bentley with broken glasses was parked.
Who else would drive such a high-end car in this wild place except for Flora?
"Wait for me in the car. Do not get out. I need to check what's going on," said Charles, stopping the car at once.
