"Our chances of survival are slim if we fight head-on with the Ape Spiritual King.”

As a holy emperor, the old man wasn't scared, but he was worried.

When the golden figure appeared, the Rule Soul Avatar sensed his abilities.

The Ape Spiritual King assessed the three people standing before him. Then, his gaze locked on theRule Soul Avatar.

"You're not bad. Although your rule forces are very powerful, they are not the Universe Rules withwhich I am familiar,” stated the Ape Spiritual King.

The Rule Soul Avatar activated his silver eyes as he released his spiritual sense to probe the old ape.A moment later, he concluded that the Ape Spiritual King was mighty indeed!

His strength was different from that of the god's soul from outer space as his power was notrestricted in many ways. The old ape also had an actual body. He was only a little weaker than thegod's soul who used the god's power.

"I don't want to fight you.” The Rule Soul Avatar's voice was as cold as ever.

The old ape’s wrinkled face twitched as if he were suppressing a laugh when he heard thestatement.

"Since you destroyed my ancestor's statue, you will die. There is no point in negotiating.” The oldape sounded grim and determined, like a judge announcing a death sentence.

"Sir,

Darren flew forward and interjected.

"We don't want to disturb you. We just happened to pass through here. Please forgive us and let usleave,” Darren explained.

"Are you begging for forgiveness?" the old ape smacked his lips and said. "Begging doesn't work onme!"

"Old ape, don't be so arrogant! If you pick a fight, you'll be challenging two holy emperors. Even ifyou win, you will be severely injured!” The old man flew forward and released his holy emperor'spower.

"Humph!" The old ape snorted and said, "You might be the emperor of human ants, but you are nomatch for me. How dare you challenge me? What's more, I don't see the two holy emperors youmentioned on your side.”

Although the old ape felt that the power of Darren's Rule Soul Avatar was strange, he could sensethat he was not a holy emperor. And Darren was far inferior to a holy emperor.

"It seems that you won't give up unless you die, will you?" the old man roared.

"Cut the crap, you human being! There is no need to waste my time," the old ape replied.

The Rule Soul Avatar stood in front of Darren. When he heard this, he knew that the fight couldn'tbe avoided. He activated his Spirit Power and began to choose the suitable Oath Rule with which tofight

"I swear by my name that you'll die if you use more than seventy percent power in your fight. Thisoath is valid for two months,"

the Rule Soul Avatar stated solemnly.

It was an oath. It looked like that it was easy to make such a declaration, but in fact, it wasn't asstraightforward to make an oath that needed to be fulfilled

Even if someone at the same level as Darren's Rule Soul Avatar had mastered the Oath Rule like hedid, they couldn't make such kind of oaths. As a spiritual beast king, who had lived for millions of years, the old ape had seen many oaths, justlike his grandson had voluntarily taken Yahya as his master. That was some kind of oath as well. But,as far as the old ape knew, oaths must be established after both sides had agreed.

However, this human in front of him had managed to create a one-sided oath, which enraged himand made him suspicious!

Since their oath had been forged successfully, the Rule Soul Avatar was no longer afraid of the oldape.

The conditions of the oath were clear. For the next two months, the old ape could only exert seventypercent of his power at most, or the power of the Oath Rule would kill him.
