Talented Martial Hero -
Chapter 1031 Enter The Cave
Felix scanned the crowd until he spotted Darren. Then he glared at Darren with a fierce expressionHe walked toward Darren and stopped in front of him.
"The famous Darren! Great! You will die miserably in the Talent Battle Ring half a month from now."When Felix was standing outside the door, he heard the uproar in the hall. Upon learning thatDarren was here, he was both surprised and angry.
"Are you the brother of the useless bug?”
"You are the useless bug! Every member of your family is a useless bug! In half a month, when I killyou painfully, you will know that the world is cruel,” Felix retorted as anger coursed through him."Ha-ha." Darren sneered before he continued, "First, I don't intend to participate in the Talent BattleRing. Second, you don't have the strength or skill to kill me.”
"You jerk. Are you scared? The moment you decided to kill my brother, you should have expectedthis consequence. You must die!" Felix declared confidently.
With a smirk, Darren turned to the nearest person and asked, "Do you know Felix? Has he doneanything immoral or wicked?"
The man Darren had spoken to paused for a moment, then nodded and said righteously, "Like hisbrother, he is also a villain and does all kinds of evil things. He deserves to die!"
"That's good, enough for me.” Darren nodded and turned to face Felix.
"What are you doing?" When Felix saw that Darren's pupils had turned red, he became terrified."As a man who is about to die, you ask too many questions.”
As soon as he finished, a tremendous force erupted from Darren's body. In an instant, the hall wasshrouded in blood-red light.
Bang!
A mass of blood exploded.
"Ah! Felix is dead!"
"Oh, my God! What kind of power is that? He killed Felix in only one move!"
"This is so horrible.”
Most people trembled when they felt Darren's power.
Felix, who was at the peak of a five-tribulation holy warrior, was unexpectedly reduced to a bloodmist by one attack. It seemed that Darren was more powerful than they had expected.
Felix had intended to provoke Darren and force him to appear at the Talent Battle Ring in half amonth. He hadn't expected Darren to be powerful and bold enough to kill him on the spot.Outside the door, two men with disheveled hair and dirty faces glanced at each other.
Their eyes reflected the fear coursing through them.
"He is too strong. Are we still fighting him?"
"Yes."
"But Felix is dead, and we have no way to lift the curse.”
"Then, we should wait."
These two disheveled men were the evil brothers that Felix had invited.
After weighing the situation, they decided to retreat for now.
"Well, let's not panic. It's time to go to the Spiritual Nether Cave,” Kingsley said indifferently. He hadheard of the bad deeds Felix had done before. Now that Darren had killed him, he would not pursuethe matter.
Then, with a wave of his hand, he activated a hidden transmission array and they all arrived at aplace covered by white fog.
"I have brought everyone to the entrance of the cave. Whoever can successfully reach the end willget the Six-tribulation Heavenly Armor.
Darren, you are the most powerful cultivator here. I hope that you will help them should there beany trouble,” said Kingsley.
Darren nodded. Then he voiced a question that had been plaguing him.
"Sir, does something or some creature guard this cave? Besides, I can get you the Six-tribulationHeavenly Armor. Why do you need the others?"
"You don't know about the strange restriction. The Spiritual Nether Cave can't be opened unless ahundred warriors enter together. That's why I need everyone. And yes, there are creatures inside. Aseach of them is transformed by extremely pure spiritual energy, they are very strong. You should becareful.”
"I see. Don't worry. I'll bring everyone out safe.” Darren was pleased. His realm was low, and heneeded a large amount of spiritual energy to grow.
If what Kingsley had said was true, then Darren was almost certain that he would be able toassimilate a lot of spiritual energy if he killed the guarding creatures.
"It's worth it,” Darren murmured.
"Are you ready?"
"Yes!"
"Okay, I'll let everyone enter now. Be careful.”
The instant that Kinsley activated the transmission array, all the young talents were teleported intothe cave, one by one. When it was Linda's turn, Darren stopped her.
"Don't go there. It's very dangerous as you are too weak."
"You don't think I'm capable enough, huh?"
"I don't consider you to be inferior. It's the truth. You're too weak. What explanation will I give toyour father if something happens to you?"
"Okay, then.” Linda stamped her foot as anger surged through her. Then she found a spot awayfrom the cave's entrance and sat down.
Darren ignored her tantrum and said to Kingsley, "Sir, please send me in."
Yes:
A gentle force wrapped Darren, and his figure gradually disappeared.
Somehow, a sense of foreboding coursed through Darren while he was teleported. He looked backbut didn't see anything except for Kingsley, who was standing at the cave's entrance.
"Where is Darren?"
"Why hasn't Darren arrived yet?"
After they materialized inside the cave, the talents gathered and waited for Darren.
A brief moment later, Darren appeared in front of them.
Someone immediately stepped forward and asked, "Darren, what should we do now?"
"We'll see.” Darren had entered the cave only a split second earlier. He hadn't even had the chanceto look around. How could he know enough to guide them?
A quick glance showed Darren that the cave was massive. Light white fog floated in the air, andhuge mountains loomed in the distance.
"Darren, my father told us that we need to go through the Ghost Valley and the Magnificent Abyssto reach the Nine-deity Mountain. That's where we will replace the armor,” Rudy explained.
"Do you know the specific route we need to take?"
"Yes, my father gave me a map. Let me show it to you.”
"Okay. Since you have a map, we should follow you." Darren nodded.
The group moved forward slowly and vigilantly since everyone was wary about the creatures madefrom spiritual energy.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
After having walked for a few kilometers, they sensed something running in the white mist.
"Be careful!” Rudy stopped and warned the others.
Fizz!
One of the men in the team suddenly lifted his sword. That was when he noticed that a whitecreature was sitting on the tip. The creature, dressed in a red cloak, was about the size of a baby."Is this the creature that guards the place? It looks weak.” The guy sneered. He estimated that thiscreature might have come from ginseng and was, hence, not powerful at all.
"Waah! Waah!"
The next moment, the chubby baby opened its mouth and revealed its sharp black teeth. With aflash, it broke free from the sword and rushed at the man.
Crack, crack.
A cloud of blood mist emanated from the man, and a split second later, his body was reduced toblood and bones.
This scene shocked everyone. They never thought that the little thing could be so horribly fast. After swallowing that man, the white creature turned blood red and disappeared.
The whole incident happened so quickly that even Darren didn't have time to react and kill it.
The blood-colored baby reappeared beside a middle-aged man.
"You did a good job. Go and replace the master,”
the middle-aged man instructed as he patted its head. With a quick nod, the creature leaped intothe air and flew toward a mountain.
