Chapter 1047 Battling The First Fiend Ancestor

There were two main reasons why the first fiend ancestor kept himself hidden in the cities. The firstwas that he had not recovered all of his strength yet, so he dared not launch an attack. The secondreason? He feared Darren! Rather, he feared Darren's avatar. He felt that the avatar still possessedformidable strength.

However, the first fiend ancestor settled for a long period of recovery. He had sent low-level fiendsto capture human souls that he could feed on. His two body parts had fused, and he felt his oldstrength gradually return. He no longer had to fear the silver-eyed avatar.

He watched Darren from afar, biding his time. When the right moment came, he would kill him.Darren snaked through the low-level fiends and killed tens of thousands of them in an instant.When the low-level fiends saw Darren, they all backed away.

"Darren, why did you come out?" Francis was alarmed. Darren's current task was to replace the flaw ofthe Heavenly Exterminating Array. It was vital that he accomplished it right away.

"I heard noises so I came out to see what was going on,” Darren said calmly.

"You can go back now. We've got this. Remember, we can only truly defeat the first fiend ancestorby replaceing the flaw!"

"I'm afraid I can't do that,” Darren said, shaking his head. He looked into the distance. "He'scoming.”

Upon hearing this, the four greatest holy warriors frowned at each other. They used their spiritualsense to survey the area.

"It's true. He's coming.”

"What should we do now? Retreat or fight?" asked Eden.

"Retreating is not an option. If we leave, hundreds of thousands of people in the Holy City will bekilled. All we can do is fight against him together.” "Time waits for no man,” Francis sighed.

The first fiend ancestor had chosen to come in person. This could only mean that he had preparedhimself for battle. There was no place they could retreat except the Eternal Forbidden Domain.Even if they wanted to retreat to the Eternal Forbidden Domain, they could only take half-stepemperors with them. The others would be left to fend for themselves. They had no other choice butto face their enemy head on.

"Guards and elders, kill these low-level fiends," Francis said, telepathically.

"Darren, we must go to the first fiend ancestor. If at any moment you replace yourself at adisadvantage, I want you to flee. You hear me? If he overwhelms us, you must go!" Francis saidemphatically, clasping Darren's shoulder.

"You are the most talented cultivator and humanity's last hope. You have to survive.” The other threeholy warriors looked expectantly at Darren.

"We have to give this our best shot. We might actually win this time." Darren scowled. He would notdie. Not today.

Five light beams shot up into the sky. In a moment, the group found themselves standing near thefirst fiend ancestor. They formed a circle around him.

The first fiend ancestor sized them all up. His blood red eyes scrutinized each one of them and apowerful demonic intent entered their minds.

The four greatest holy warriors trembled with fear, but Darren suddenly felt excited.

"The same blood runs through our veins," Darren said, using a language that only the first fiendancestor could understand.

"Human, when I first saw you, you were incredibly weak. I must admit, I am impressed by how faryou have come since then!" The first fiend ancestor's eyes glinted as he smirked at Darren.

Many years ago, when Darren first entered the forbidden area, a drop of his blood essence wastaken by one body part of the first fiend ancestor. This was how he was able to keep tabs on Darren."I'm curious why you would choose to invade this world. Do you really want the mortal world to beat your disposal?”

Darren asked.

The first fiend ancestor was a creature from outer space. He was extremely powerful. It did not makesense for him to try and dominate a mortal world.

The corners of the first fiend ancestor's mouth twitched. His fiendish aura began to radiate evenbrighter.

"Why? Did I make you angry?" Darren asked

"I will destroy you, you gnat!"

The first fiend ancestor rushed towards Darren to attack.

The four greatest holy warriors also began to fight. Four powerful forces spread throughout the air.Dark clouds began to gather in the sky.

The whole world became dark.

"Manifestations Skill of White Tiger!"

"Destruction Skill of Cyan Dragon!”

The four greatest holy warriors released their most powerful attacks.

Heaven and earth shook as the four greatest holy warriors targeted the first fiend ancestor, pushinghim deep into a crack in the space.

"Roar!"

The first fiend ancestor let out a cry and multiplied himself into hundreds of blood-red figures. Heattacked them from all directions!

Although Darren had speculated that the first fiend ancestor had already reached the EmperorRealm, he was still surprised to see it firsthand.

He knew that what he was seeing now was just the combination of two of the body parts of the firstfiend ancestor. If all eight of his body parts were integrated, he would become frighteninglypowerful.

Darren felt very confused. He did not understand how Hiram the Great and the witcher ancestorwere able to suppress and dismember the first fiend ancestor.

Was Hiram the Great stronger than the ancient holy emperors? Did he have the power of the Shura?Darren lost himself in his thoughts. Meanwhile, the four greatest holy warriors had trouble holdingoff the first fiend ancestor. They began to retreat.

"My turn.”

Darren couldn't wait any longer. He needed to show the first fiend ancestor his own power.

"Stand down and let me fight him!" Darren roared at the four greatest holy warriors. He flew to thecenter of the battlefield.

Darren kicked the first fiend ancestor with such force that the first fiend ancestor was hurled away.The four greatest holy warriors were stunned. Darren's kick was terribly strong!

This meant he also had the strength of a six-tribulation senior holy warrior! They stood in awe ofhim for a few moments.

A young man who entered the Holy Realm by comprehending the Holy Will had strengthcomparable to that of a six-tribulation senior holy warrior. What an amazing feat!

"Darren, watch out!" The four greatest holy warriors stepped back and let Darren take over. Theyneeded to heal, and Darren would give them ample time to do so.

Without a word, Darren released a blast of ice and flame power. The destructive power envelopedthe space turbulent flows, seeping through every nook and cranny.

The first fiend ancestor thrust out his hand and a tremendous burst of fiendish aura flew out. Hestalked towards Darren, trying to force him down with his power.

As the two forces collided, the power of the ice and flame almost succumbed to the fiendish aura.“What?*

Darren's spiritual sense tingled. Suddenly, he sensed danger. A bloody hand clasped his shoulder."Get out!"

With a shout, Darren released the Shura Force. The bloody hand shook violently before burstingwith a loud bang.

"Shura!"
