Chapter 1203 Enter The Abyss

The Blade Devil didn't even turn to look at the Rule Soul Avatar as he roared, "Just go!"

The Rule Soul Avatar was decisive. Without a word, he soared into the distance.

After flying about ten kilometers, he started to get curious about the strength of the Blade Devil, sohe released a sense of Spirit Power to assess the situation after he left.

Upon sensing trouble with the Blade Devil, he immediately swerved and headed right back.

"What on earth are you doing back here?" On the ground, the Blade Devil sat cross-legged.Terrifying blades sped around him; cutting many black cracks in the space.

"You're terribly injured. I can sense that you're right on the brink of death.” The Rule Soul Avatarreturned for the sole purpose of helping the Blade Devil.

"What does it have anything to do with you?" There was a malicious hint of murderous intent in theBlade Devil's tone as he spoke.

"I'm here to return a favor.” The Rule Soul Avatar swiftly shrouded the Blade Devil in a ResurrectionForce.

Swoosh! Swoosh!

The power of the Rule Soul Avatar was then immediately cut into pieces by the Blade Devil'smenacing blades.

"Young man, don't think too highly of yourself. You'll only do more bad than good on me with thatmeasly rule power of yours," the Blade Devil spat coldly.

The Rule Soul Avatar fell silent for a moment as he began to ponder on how to heal the BladeDevil's injuries. After a while, he realized that it was an impossible feat due to his ResurrectionForce's level being too low.

"Good luck then.” The Rule Soul Avatar sighed and turned to leave.

"Wait!" The Blade Devil suddenly stopped him.

The Rule Soul Avatar turned around and made a confused glance at the Blade Devil.

"Do you know where to go?”

"Not really, no.”

"Humph!" The Blade Devil snorted coldly and said, "Others here wanted to kill you because youpossess the special ability to perceive laws. To put it simply, it's because of your apparent silver eyes;your eyes that are identical to that of a high-level warrior. If you wander around these partsaimlessly, your death is certain.”

"Who and what are you talking about? Please tell me." Once could tell by the Rule Soul Avatar'stone that he was eager to know.

"You will have chances to understand if you can stay alive. But if you die too soon, then it's uselessfor you to know, isn't it?"

"I guess you have a point. Where should I go, then?" inquired the Rule Soul Avatar.

"Go to the abyss. You must settle down there.” As the Blade Devil spoke, a message was transmittedto the Rule Soul Avatar's mind

"Got it." The Blade Devil sent the Rule Soul Avatar comprehensive information about an abyss. Afterthe Rule Soul Avatar got the location and general information, he turned to leave without amoment's hesitation.

"Haha, Blade Devil, did you really think you could get away from me?"

It was when the Rule Soul Avatar was about to leave that a wild voice came bellowing from the void,followed by an extremely overbearing aura, which sent trembles down the Rule Soul Avatar's body."Humph!"

In response, the Blade Devil soared into the sky. The terrible blades swirled around him and theirpower instantly reached the peak. The man didn't look like he was injured in the slightest.

"Come Josef, let's end this with a battle,” the Blade Devil roared.

"Had you said this two hours ago, I would have respected your wishes for a fight to the death. Butnow, you're obviously dying. Do you really think that you can still kill me? Aren't you foolingyourself by picking fights in that state?”

A mysterious young man in tight armor appeared in front of the Blade Devil; shining with aglimmering light.

"Killing Blade!"

Without a word, the Blade Devil unsheathed the blade behind his back and made a big slashforward.

Boom!

A long and narrow crack dug into the space, and the blade swept mightily towards the mysteriousyoung man.

This sudden attack made the young man's face darken with slight worry. The Blade Devil wasincredibly strong. Even on the verge of death, he still possessed such unimaginable power.

The young man morphed into a shadow and flew out of the way to dodge the attack from the BladeDevil.

As the Rule Soul Avatar pulled away from the scene, he noticed a few drops of blood coming fromthe young man’s fingertips.

It meant that the Blade Devil's blade had damaged him

"Quit your struggling. If you'd just hand over the Supreme Heaven Skill, I can still keep your corpsein one piece," chimed the young man with a twisted and cold smile.

"Shut your trap. You'll never get the Supreme Heaven Skill!"

"Okay. If I can't have it, then no one can.” As soon as he finished his words, a law sword whizzedtowards the Blade Devil. He was intent on destroying the skill if it wasn't given to him.

Bang!

The Blade Devil raised his blade horizontally to deflect the attack. The law sword met his blade witha staggering force that only managed to knock him back a few feet; leaving no damage.

However, the Rule Soul Avatar was an unfortunate bystander as he took the full force of the collisionof the sword and blade. The power managed to break all of his internal organs in the process. If hedid not have the Resurrection Force, he would have been dead meat by now.

"Give up. You are doomed to die here.”

"Not quite. If you can manage it, come to the abyss and replace me."

As soon as the Blade Devil finished speaking, the young man's face dropped. He quickly raised hishand and cracked it forward.

“Let's go!"

In a heartbeat, the Blade Devil's figure flashed away. He grabbed the shoulder of the Rule SoulAvatar, and then a space windstorm spread through the space as they rolled in. In the blink of aneye, they were both gone.

The mysterious young man gritted his teeth as his eyes fumed with pure rage.

"That god damned Abyss Scroll! I didn't expect that he had that trick hidden up his sleeve!" roaredthe young man in frustration. He had waged a sneak attack on the Blade Devil and was so close tokilling him. The young man didn't anticipate the Blade Devil's possession of an Abyss Scroll becausehe expected he would've escaped sooner with it.

He was so angry at the Blade Devil's escape, not because he was afraid that the Blade Devil wouldcome back for revenge, but because he had basically lost the Supreme Heaven Skill forever. It wasimpossible for any creature that entered an abyss to return.

Meanwhile, in the Tussle Region, Darren had been practicing in his own territory for more than tendays already.

Suddenly, an enormous power descended from the sky. Darren had finally broken through to themiddle-level of the Domain God Realm.

"This is strange. Why haven't other forces come to us yet?"

During the past dozen days, Darren's territory had been oddly peaceful; without any disturbance bythe other eighteen forces.

This put Darren at unease because it was far from what he was expecting.

When Tim was leading the force, most of the other eighteen forces were much stronger than theywere. They should be fuming with rage at some newfound force being so arrogant.

"Come here!" Darren gave a shout, and the cunning gangster came rushing in.

"What can I do for you, sir?" the gangster knelt down and said respectfully.

"How did Tim manage to live in peace with the other eighteen forces when he was here?" Darrenfelt something was amiss. He began to wonder why there were so many forces in the forest. Thereshould have been only one force left since the strongest force should have killed all the other forcesby now.

"We never managed to get along with each other peacefully. We instead sent tributes to the fourmajor forces."

"Really? What kind of tribute?"

"Killing points, sir. We collect killing points everywhere, and we have to give them ninety percent ofthe points every year. Otherwise, we would have already been crushed.”

"Okay." Darren understood. He then asked, "Has there been no news from the other forces as oflate?"

"None of the sort. Most of the people who went to send the flags were slain, but they didn't try tolaunch an attack on us either,” the gangster replied.

"Got it. You may leave now.” Darren felt that something was wrong.

"Darren, have you reached a higher level? How strong are you now?" Lindsay sensed that Darrenhad made a breakthrough, so she walked in

"My strength has definitely increased, but I don't know how high my current strength is now."

"If you don't know then you should try to replace out. There is a force about a hundred and fiftykilometers behind us. Their boss is at the low-level of the Star God Realm. Give it a shot and see ifyou can kill him,” Lindsay advised.

"Okay, could you accompany me? I can't wait to see what the hell they're up to. Why haven't theyattacked us yet?"

Since the other forces weren't taking any action, Darren was ready to take the initiative to launch anattack.
