"Answer me." A disembodied voice rang out through the darkness. But no matter where the oldman looked, nobody was there.

"Why would you accuse me of letting the Defiant Master go, sir? I personally have detected theavatar's protection with him. Was it not you who sent your avatar to him?" Indeed, Caleb was certainthat it was Mr. Feng's aura that he had sensed.

"Humph! If you really want to have the Defiant Master dealt with, you can just do so regardless ofmy avatar. Do you understand?" the voice said coldly.

The words had confused Caleb greatly, but he didn't dare question Mr. Feng. "Yes, sir. I understand.”Then, the horrible aura dissipated.

Caleb contacted Davis with his spiritual sense and ordered him to capture the Defiant Master."What do you mean, ancestor? He is guarded by Mr. Feng's avatar. We can't risk it..." Davis waspuzzled as well.

"Just do as you're told."

"But I'm still perfecting my avatars skills. Can't it wait for two months?" Davis felt a torn with thisdilemma.

Caleb was delighted to hear Davis’ answer. "In that case, focus on your avatar for the meantime.When you're done after two months, then go ahead and do as you're told.”

"Thank you, sir. However, you can send someone else if you're in a hurry. There are others in theclan who are stronger than me. Any warriors at the upper level of the Star God Realm or above candeal with the Defiant Master. He is very weak after all,” Davis said.

"No. It's better if this is just between the two of us. I have already erased Burke's memories. For now,the most important thing for you to do is to train your avatar. We'll let the Defiant Master roam freefor two more months. And then, we'll capture him."

"Yes, ancestor," Davis said respectfully.

Meanwhile, Darren and the others were heading north. They had walked out of the forest and hadreached 200 kilometers already.

"Sir, there's a small sect here called Lost Soul Sect. Their leader is only at the middle-level of the StarGod Realm. I'm sure we can conquer them.”

Wilson led them to a temple on top of the mountain where they could discuss their future plans."Darren, the Lost Soul Sect has never offended us. Why should we take them by force?" Finleyvoiced out his concern.

"You're only overthinking this. There is no such thing as a good man in the Tussle Region. They allhave blood in their hands, so there's no reason for us to show mercy. And anyway, the Lost SoulSect is evil. They are crueler than us. They captured others’ souls. It's reasonable to take themdown,” Wilson explained. He knew a lot about the different forces and sects around the area.

"Is that so?"

"Yes, it's true. I wouldn't dare lie to you.” Wilson's face was serious as he said this. This was the firsttime he acted like this

"It's true. I've heard of them before.” Jefferson nodded his head in agreement.

"Well, let's start with them then." At Darren's command, all his followers swooped in towards theLost Soul Sect. Jefferson led them during the attack.

A series of explosion rocked the entire area.

The mountain shook violently. It was immediately filled with agonized shouts and the sounds ofkilling.

The battle raged for about an hour until it finally stopped.

"Let's descend now and turn them into my believers,”

Darren said. He took Finley and the others with him as he flew down to the bottom of the mountain.Everything went according to plan. He had gained thousands of new followers, while only a dozenpeople died during the scuffle.

The next ten days went on like that. He and his followers took care of the other smaller forces in thearea.

It didn't take long for his followers to reach one hundred thousand

While they were taking down forces, the Bloody Army was speedily getting a reputation. Many ofthe smaller forces had heard of them and were terrified. Some even offered to join the army just toensure their survival.

After a dozen of days’ travelling, Darren finally chose a sect to stay and rest in for a few days. It hada relatively better environment compared to the others.

"Sirl"

They had only been resting for three days when someone suddenly burst into Darren's room."What's wrong?" Darren bolted up from his seat at the intrusion.

"Sir, the leader of the Snow Sect and his people are heading this way.”

"Who are the Snow Sect?" Darren immediately turned to Wilson, who was sitting next to him.Wilson's face was dark and solemn upon hearing the sect's name. "The time has finally come. Wehave inevitably caught their attention.”

"Tell me. Who are they?" Darren repeated his question calmly.

"Sir, the Snow Sect is the strongest of our generation. We should retreat as soon as possible.”"How strong is their leader? Is he in the upper-level of the Star God Realm?" Darren pressed on."No. Their leader is only at the middle-level of the Star God Realm. However, some say he's asstrong as any warriors from the upper-level of the Star God Realm. I'm afraid we're no match forhim." Wilson shook his head.

Darren had already gained three strong warriors who were at the middle-level of the Star GodRealm.

"Humph! Are you doubting my capabilities, Wilson?" Jefferson asked, deeply offended by the otherman's words. He had never heard of the Snow Sect before. But now that he had the level-eightdivine weapon, he was confident that nobody at his same level could defeat him.

Basically, it was impossible for any warrior in the middle-level of the Star God Realm to defeatanyone at the upper-level.

"I'm not joking. We really are in danger this time. I suggest we leave as soon as possible.” Wilsonwas rarely serious, but this time, his face was grave.

"Don't listen to him, sir. He is nothing but a coward who is afraid of death," Jefferson renounced.Darren was silent for a moment. He debated internally on whether they should retreat or stand theirground.

"There's no need to fear.” Finley suddenly stepped forward. "Just let me announce my name. I'msure that they'll surrender immediately as soon as they learn who I am.”

"Finley Feng, I am beginning to dislike you even more,” Lindsay said bitterly. She scowled at him asshe said this. It irked her to see him act like a fox masquerading as a tiger.

"Who cares if you like me or not? Just let me deal with them at once.” With that, Finley flew out."Sir, should we stop him?" Wilson asked worriedly.

"There's no need. Jefferson and the other strong warriors will come with me. Wilson, you lead theretreat.”

Darren had come to the conclusion to wait and see what would happen first. After all, he had onlyjust established his own force. It would be a disgrace if he retreated at once just because of somerumored greater force.

"Yes, sir." Wilson couldn't hide the worry on his face, but he didn't dare go against Darren's order.With that, Darren and the others flew into the sky.

Their robes rustled into the wind.

It wasn't long before they spotted countless figures in the sky.

"Darren, help!”

Jefferson moved fast to catch Finley, who was falling from the sky.

Darren and the others turned their attention to the direction where Finley came from. They couldn'tsee anything except Finley's swollen face and deformed body.

"That son of a bitch! Their leader is too strong. He didn't even flinch when I told him who I was."Finley coughed in pain

"Sir, what should we do now?" Jefferson asked.

"We shall retreat for now." At this point, Darren could also sense a powerful aura coming from thedistance. He instantly knew that they wouldn't be able to overcome that much power.

"Where shall we go?"

Before they could even get away, three powerful forces appeared behind Darren. They blocked allways for escape.

"What?"

Darren used his god's sense to scan the area. There were at least four warriors of the middle-level ofthe Star God Realm among the people who surrounded them.

"This doesn't look good.” Lindsay could sense this as well.

"Sir, we've been fooled. They all came together. We'll fight them off while you escape.”

Darren only had three warriors of the middle-level of the Star God Realm. This would be a verydifficult battle to win.

"Don't worry, Darren. I know a way to make the enemies your powerful believers.” An idea hadsuddenly popped into Lindsay's head. Upon saying this, the others looked surprised.
