Chapter 1267 The Impulse Of Homer

Jenifer's face turned pale upon hearing Homer's lewd words. She had no doubt about what heintended to do.

"Help! Help! Darren, help!" she cried out in a panicked voice.

Homer laughed coldly. "That won't work,” he said. "I have blocked this room, so no one outside canhear you. But don't worry! I will remove the blockades when I have you, so that your little valentinewill be able to hear your cries of passion.”

Homer was becoming more and more excited. He could hardly restrain himself from grabbingJenifer immediately.

"Go away!" she shouted at him.

But he moved closer.

"Please leave me alone,” she pleaded.

Homer laughed again.

"I know women always say the opposite of what they really mean,” he taunted

He leaned over Jenifer. There was a sharp cracking sound.

Before Homer could touch her, black lightning appeared and wrapped around his arm. He wasstunned as the force of the lightning hurled him backwards, away from Jenifer.

'Is this the tribulation thunder? he thought.

His arm felt numb and painful where the lightning had struck him. However, he was able to mobilizehis god's power and expel it in time in order to prevent the tribulation thunder from harming historso and head.

As he struggled to get up, a figure in white materialized in front of him.

It was the Rule Soul Avatar, who was possessed of a very strong Spirit Power. It had been easy forhim to detect Homer sneaking in. Moreover, his silvery eyes had recovered a little. He could sensethe slightest fluctuation of other power from the vibration of the law silk threads.

Indeed, he had sensed Homer's presence almost immediately.

But the Rule Soul Avatar was curious about what Homer planned to do, so he held back andobserved him secretly for a while.

As soon as she was freed, Jenifer jumped out of the bed.

"You go first,” the Rule Soul Avatar said indifferently.

She ran to the Rule Soul Avatar.

"I want to kill him with you!" she said angrily. She was at the low-level of the Celestial God Realm.She would have been able to resist Homer on her own if she hadn't been shackled.

"Are you sure?" said the Rule Soul Avatar.

"I'm more powerful than you, Darren. I want to help kill him," Jenifer said again.

The Rule Soul Avatar gazed at Homer, gauging his cultivation level. "He is at the middle-level of theCelestial God Realm," he said calmly.

That was a level higher than Jenifer's. She stepped back. "Then let's run away together,” she urgedhim.

"If I have to watch over you, it will be harder for me. Better for you to leave now while I hold him off,and I will be able to escape after you," the Rule Soul Avatar answered.

"Darren, please be careful. Escape him as soon as possible,” she said. The whole communication hadtaken place through their spiritual sense. As soon as Jenifer understood what she needed to do, shestarted to leave.

But Homer wasn't about to let her go so easily. "Not so fast,” he said. "I'm not done with you yet!"In an instant, he was by her side, about to grab her.

With a crack, Jenifer pulled out a whip and lashed out at Homer.

At the same time, the Rule Soul Avatar also took action. He made a strange gesture with his hands.In an instant, tens of thousands of attacking laws descended, including many laws related toinvasion, interference and illusion.

With another bang, Homer's disguise exploded around him.

His face was revealed as he stood wearing strong, shining armor.

He emitted an aggressive, dangerous aura.

He held a long spear in his hands, the tip curved and sharp like a dragon.

The Rule Soul Avatar watched Homer's transformation without any apparent emotion on his face.This further angered Homer.

"Don’t you dare pretend to be aloof! I will kill you for this!" he shouted.

He waved the spear in the air, and a faint aura spiraled around it. It was the aura of death anddestruction.

Homer thrust the spear forward, and the force of countless spears surrounded the Rule Soul Avatarin every direction. He was trapped. He had no escape route.

But the Rule Soul Avatar did not panic. He watched Homer and sensed the strong, strange aurasurrounding him, analyzing the characteristics of the attack, probing his opponent's strength.

He realized that the strange aura released by the spear could cause trauma in the soul! It was not abig deal if his body was stabbed by the spear. After all, he could survive with the help of theResurrection Force. However, if his soul was destroyed, he might not even have the chance toactivate the Resurrection Force.

This was a valuable and powerful skill that had even worked to conceal himfrom the Immortal Lord, let alone someone like Homer.

The room fell silent. The only sound was Homer's breathing, which quickened as he began to realizewhat he had done.

"I really killed him," he muttered, rubbing his eyes. "I'm so screwed.”

He was lost in thought, trying to come up with a plan, but he kept getting distracted by visions ofYama's horrible, ferocious face.

"Ah, how could I be so stupid!" he cried. Homer was going crazy, and he was extremely scared.

In that instant, the space around him shook violently. A Destructive Force and the force oftribulation thunder attacked his back at the same time.

Homer was stunned. In a flash, he realized two things: he was being attacked, and the Rule SoulAvatar was not dead.

Instinctively, he whirled and stabbed with his spear in the direction the attack had come from.

His majestic force was condensed into countless long spears that struck at his unseen attacker.Homer was at the middle-level of the Celestial God Realm. Even if he could only display the low-level power of the Celestial God Realm because of the defect of the cultivation method, his powerwas still far stronger than the Rule Soul Avatars.
