Chapter 1317 Sign Up For The Hunting Game

After they left, Darren and the others headed westward.

"No deal?"

"No, they are not willing to pay enough for it." Darren shook his head.

"Then what should we do? You can't leave the region.” Lindsay appeared anxious when she heardthe news.

"I have found a way to participate in the Tussle Contest.”

"But how? You need to be at the peak of the Star God Realm to be eligible for the Tussle Contest. You can't even sign up given your current realm,” she objected. The requirements of the TussleContest were clear, and Lindsay couldn't understand how Darren would get around them.

"There is another way. The Tussle Region is holding a hunting game. The top three winners can jointhe Tussle Contest's final competition directly,” Darren explained.

"Really? Are you considering participating in the hunting game? There is one issue, though.Whatever you decide, you're the only one to have a chance to leave. Lindsay and I may have to stayhere,” Finley pointed out.

"Right." When she heard this, Lindsay realized that she couldn't let Darren leave the Tussle Regionalone. She needed to follow him. "I'm going to enlist as well,” she said with a snort.

"That's absurd.” Darren shook his head. He glanced at Lindsay before continuing, "If we both takepart in the hunting game, of course I can help you secure a place in the top three positions. Butwhat about the Tussle Contest? Only the super-geniuses will partake in that competition. If I don'thave the confidence to be in the top three, how can you have any hope?”

"Well, Darren, don't forget that I have a powerful helper." She smiled.

"What? Who?"

"Jeremy! If I qualify for the Tussle Contest, I might have a greater chance of being in the top threethan you as I have Jeremy's help.”

After careful consideration, Darren nodded. Jeremy was able to distract Maxwell, who was at theupper-level of the Celestial God Realm. Why wouldn't he defeat a warrior at the Star God Realm?"That's a good idea, but I'm afraid that it's against the rules.”

"It shouldn't be a problem. Jeremy listens to me. He is my weapon. We can use weapons of ourchoice in the contest, can't we?"

"Perhaps. We should talk about this later,” Darren suggested.

"Wait!" Finley interjected. Their plans left him anxious, and he couldn't help but ask, "If you bothparticipate in the competition, what about me? You can't leave me alone in the Tussle Region, right?”

"I'm sure that you'll figure it out.” Darren smiled as he turned to face Finley.

"Nonsense. How can I be a match for a warrior at the Star God Realm in such a short time? I can'tenter the contest. What else can I do then?” Finley remarked helplessly.

"If you earn seventy million killing points, then I will sell the divine patterns to help you," Darrenpromised.

"That's great! I knew that you and Lindsay wouldn't abandon me. Let's go. I'll try my best.” Finleygrinned.

The three decided to travel to the branch of the Tussle Holy House to register for the hunting game. After flying for a few days and nights, they finally arrived.

Several magnificent palaces sprawled on the lofty mountain peak that loomed before them

The three landed in front of a hall.

Many young cultivators were coming and going, each excitedly chattering about the contest.

"Did you hear? The four peerless talents of the younger generation want to join this hunting game.”"So what? They have a high reputation, more or less, because they have potential. But it doesn'tmean that they are powerful."

"You are right. This competition allows the younger generation at the low-level and middle-level ofthe Star God Realm to participate. The four talents are only at the low-level. Some middle-levelwarriors might match them.”

"Ignorant! How ignorant! The four talents are from large sects. They have received the bestresources since their birth. What's more, each of them has a high-grade divine pattern. How couldan ordinary warrior compare with them?" someone opposed.

"Don't be so sure. There can be shady dealings behind this competition. People at the peak of theStar God Realm may replace a way to participate if they have the appropriate connections with thesenior leaders of the Tussle Holy House. Who doesn't want to participate in the Tussle Contest?"another young cultivator said lazily.

Darren didn't pay much attention to their discussion

as he was confident of his strength. He wouldn't be afraid even if some participants were cultivatorsat the peak of the Star God Realm.

Eventually, Darren and his companions reached the square where the registrations were being held."We are Darren and Lindsay. Please enlist us for the hunting game,” Darren politely directed.

"And me. My name is Finley," Finley added.

The disciple in charge of registration could sense Darren and Lindsay's levels. Hence, he didn'tobject when he heard their request. However, when Finley asked to enlist, the disciple rolled hiseyes.

"You can't sign up as you're too weak," the disciple replied coldly.

"Please don't say that. Give me a chance," Finley bowed.

Darren used his god's sense to communicate with Finley. "What are you doing?"

They had already agreed that Darren would take part in the hunting event with Lindsay to advanceto the Tussle Contest, while Finley would replace a way to earn killing points.

"I plan to go hunting. I want to win the third place!" he replied flatly.

"What are you doing? Even if we help you secure the third place, do you believe that you can winthe Tussle Contest? You'll be killed in the first second.” Darren rolled his eyes as he tried torationalize with Finley.

"How can you be so muddle-headed all of a sudden? Once I win the third place, I can sell it tosomeone else. Then I can get the points,” replied Finley.

"Do you think everyone is stupid? You can't sell the rank!"

"Why not? Didn't the Zhou Clan ask you to participate in the hunting game on their behalf? It turnsout that with the right connections, anything can happen. I just need to replace the right person to helpme. Besides, it doesn't matter whether I can sell the rank or not. Nothing terrible will happen if I winthe third place. At worst, if I can't sell it, I will just choose not to join the Tussle Contest.”

Darren contemplated the reasons Finley put forward and soon felt that his arguments werereasonable.

"Why are you still standing here? Get out of the way!" the disciple stated impatiently.

"Bro, help me, please. I want my brother to experience the contest.”

Darren stepped up and put in a good word for Finley. As soon as he heard Darren's request, thedisciple’s face darkened. He was about to drive Darren away, but a crystal flew into his hand."Level-five..."

The disciple was surprised to see a level-five divine pattern in his hand. He was so excited that healmost cried out.

"Well, don't blame me for objecting. After all, I was only concerned about his safety since he is weak. Now that you insist, it would seem inappropriate if I continue to refuse. Okay, then.” The disciplebecame friendlier at once.

"Thank you.” Darren saluted as the disciple handed them three entry tokens and an instructionmanual.

"Ha! Money makes the world go round. Did you see it? The guy's eyes popped out of their socketswhen he saw the level-five divine pattern.” Finley grinned.

"Of course. Someone like him will never have the chance to earn a level-five divine pattern in hisentire life. How can he not be happy?"

"Hey, Darren, look over there.” Lindsay's face darkened, and she interrupted Darren and Finley'sbanter.
