Talented Martial Hero -
Chapter 1343 The Fiend Race Was Very Powerful
The Rule Soul Avatar unleashed his strong Spirit Power in search for Turan, but didn't replace any traceof him. Turan's successful escape was a silent cause for concern for the two. The higher ups of thefiend race would now inevitably replace out that two humans had snuck into the territory of the fiendrace.
"Finally! I've been promoted!"
Merle raised his head and ripped out a terrifying roar. Since he had merged with an emperor fromthe fiend race, the level of his soul was promoted to the Celestial God Realm, which could nowmatch with his physical strength. Through this method, he grew much more powerful compared tobefore. If he had possessed such strength earlier, he wouldn't have been so miserable and beenkilled several times over.
"I certainly underestimated your strength.”
Merle flew to the Rule Soul Avatar's side.
The Rule Soul Avatar kept a stoic expression and did not respond to Merle. Instead, he concentratedon looking for Jenifer.
Fortunately, he had imprinted a mark on her body before sending her away. Otherwise it would beimpossible to track down a single person in the vast land they were in.
"Let's go," said the Rule Soul Avatar after finally sensing the direction of Jenifer's presence. He wasjust ready to set off.
"Hey, wait!"
Merle hollered. Then, he flew over to the group of fiend maids.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Without any warning, he released his strong fiend power and killed them all.
"What did you do that for?"
Most of these low-grade fiend maids came from remote areas, and they couldn't actually causemuch harm to humans. The wars between races in the Primitive Wilderness were always started bythe senior leaders
Thus, the Rule Soul Avatar didn't understand why Merle went and did such a thing.
"Anyone who isn't from the human race must die!" This was one of Merle's core beliefs now. If hismerging ability was not limited by the laws, he would have killed a lot of humans by now, let alonefiends.
The Rule Soul Avatar said nothing more in reply. Instead, he turned around and imitated a nearbyfiend using the Copying Skill before he flew towards the northwest. Merle, suspicious, followed himclosely.
After several hours of flying, the Rule Soul Avatar stopped in his tracks.
He had sensed that Jenifer was nearby, but when he stopped, he suddenly found that she wasalready a million kilometers away and the distance between them was quickly increasing.
The Rule Soul Avatar narrowed his eyes and looked into the distance with a gaze that looked like itcould penetrate into layers of space.
"Hey, Xavier, look around and help me replace out if there's a fiend stronger than me around here,"said Merle. He was eager to merge with stronger fiends.
Once again, the Rule Soul Avatar responded with a deafening silence. He was still analyzing themark left on Jenifer's body as his silvery eyes flashed with brilliant light.
"Naters Empire." The Rule Soul Avatar traced the location through the mark on Jenifer's body.Immediately, he began to look for any memory about the Naters Empire that was stored in the bodyof the fiend he had copied.
With a steady stream of information pouring in, the Rule Soul Avatar instantly received all of theknowledge he needed.
It turned out that within the fiend land there were eight fiend empires in total. He and Merle werenow in a very remote corner of the fiend race, while the truly authentic fiends were dispersedamong the eight fiend empires.
From the memories of the fiend he had copied, the Rule Soul Avatar learnt that every one of theeight empires had extremely powerful fiend gods as leaders. After careful pondering, the Rule SoulAvatar came to the conclusion that any one of the eight empires was powerful enough to contendwith the entire human race.
The Rule Soul Avatar could not be more shocked at such a conclusion.
It turned out that the human race was even weaker than he had imagined.
This conclusion was merely based on the current fiend land he was in. However, there were manyother fiend races in the Primitive Wilderness to consider as well. Additionally, there were dozens ofother races, including the angel race, the Shura race, and the Dark Night race.
The Rule Soul Avatar could not understand how a race as weak as the human race had survived inthe Primitive Wilderness all this time.
In the face of so many powerful races, the human race hadn't yet died out. Instead, they continuedto survive and live their lives as a part of the Primitive Wilderness. This was somewhat inconceivableto him.
However, on second thoughts, the Rule Soul Avatar realized that his conclusion was only based onthe strength of the human race that he'd learnt from some leftover laws. There was a limit to whathe could analyze about the powerful background of the human race given his current knowledge.Perhaps, the human race still had some transcendent members.
"What the hell are you doing? Say something!"
Merle asked anxiously, seeing that the Rule Soul Avatar was silently spacing out with a very coldexpression.
"Come with me."
"Where are you going?”
"To the Naters Empire.”
"You're going to look for that woman?"
Hes
After merging with the fiend emperor, Merle also received information about the eight empires. Theterrifying power of the eight empires scared him a little.
If it were up to him, he would be better off staying at the edge zone to look for stronger fiends tomerge with. After slowly gaining strength this way, he could make his way to the empires.
He vehemently disagreed with the Rule Soul Avatar's plan of heading straight to the Naters Empiresince it seemed too brash.
"Can't we wait for a few years before we head over there?"
asked Merle. He had a big change in his attitude towards the Rule Soul Avatar. He no longer spoketo him in a matter-of-fact commanding tone.
"No, I can't,” the Rule Soul Avatar answered sternly and soared off.
Merle made a sour face at the answer, but he couldn't just leave the Rule Soul Avatar and head outon his own. Left with no other option, he followed right after him.
Under the blood-red clouds, two figures launched themselves towards the area's transmission array. The Rule Soul Avatar and Merle weren't the only creatures travelling through the vast sky. Therewere huge unknown fiends passing by every now and then. Those powerful creatures werecomparable to humans at the Superior God Realm.
For some of these fiends, their strength was much too mysteriously powerful for the Rule SoulAvatar to determine.
The Rule Soul Avatar could not help but sigh in resignation. This only confirmed his conclusion thatthe fiend race trumped the human race as a whole in terms of power.
As they went on their way, the powerful fiends whizzed past them in a hurry, without paying muchattention to them. Merle's heart raced nervously at the sight. He was terrified, and couldn't help buttremble with fear.
Finally, the two of them arrived at the transmission array in a region of the fiend land.
Countless fiends dwelt in both sides of a valley. The valley was exactly the transmission array."Xavier, we have to fall back,"
said Merle to the Rule Soul Avatar through his spiritual sense. Although he was already at theCelestial God Realm, the amount of powerful fiendish auras suppressing him put him at incredibleunease.
Even in such a remote area, there were already so many powerful fiends lurking around. It didn'ttake much imagination for him to expect that they'd meet even more powerful beings once theyreached one of the empires of the fiend race.
It would be very difficult for Merle to kill and merge with a fiend in a place where countless powerfulfiend masters were around.
"Out of the way! All of you!"
Suddenly, on one side of the valley, near the place where the Rule Soul Avatar and Merle were, aferocious roar was heard. They immediately stepped aside.
In the distance, four fiends with red scales on their bodies dragged two disheveled creatures over byvery strange dark red chains.
The Rule Soul Avatar and Merle immediately shifted their eyes to the direction of the roar. Theirhearts wrenched at the scene.
The four fiends were dragging a man and a woman from the human race. The two humans werecovered in bruises, and dirt and grime covered their faces. They slowly limped forward as they werebeing dragged by the chains.
The Rule Soul Avatar was stunned by the sight of these pitiful humans. Even the crowd of fiendsaround them couldn't help but whisper among themselves.
"They are Defiant Masters of the human race!"
"Those are the fiend gods of one of the eight empires. Only they have the capability to capture theDefiant Masters of the human race.”
Defiant Masters of the human race were considered to be the most annoying and troublesomeexistence for all the other races.
