Chapter 1395 The Beasts Guarding The Hall

Darren was speechless and kind of confused. Everyone in the hall knew that the place was indeedspecial and mysterious, so he couldn't get the point of what the golden dragon was saying.

"Just get to the point.” Even the dragon ancestor had somehow become impatient.

"Fine." The golden dragon felt embarrassed and began to speak straightforwardly. "This hall iscondensed by the Archean laws. It might sound odd, but it seems to have a consciousness of itsown!"

"Even if you say that, I don't think it will help us..." Darren sounded disappointed and asked, "Sir,just think about this. Is there any place in this hall where we may replace the inheritance?"

Darren began looking around. However, there was nothing to see inside the hall except for thelocked golden dragon and the murals. Nothing caught their eye that seemed to be where theinheritance was hidden.

"I don't know how to help you because I don't even know what the inheritance is. What I just knowis that there are other rooms in this hall,” the golden dragon answered honestly.

"Other rooms? But I don't see any doors.” Darren was quite confused by the golden dragon'sstatement.

"Of course you won't be able to see one just like that. But I'm telling the truth, there are otherrooms. The Evil Deity entered one of those rooms and managed to control a part of the Original SinChain. That's what he used to lock me here," the golden dragon explained.

Hearing this, Darren couldn't help but frown

It seemed that the Evil Deity had already arrived in this place before them and found the area wherethe inheritance was hidden. Fortunately, he still hadn't completely controlled the relic.

"All right. Let's look around first and search for any hints,” Darren said resolutely.

With that, Darren and the dragon ancestor began to investigate the hall and look for any clues thatmight lead them to the hidden rooms

After looking around for a while, Darren had already examined every inch of the walls in the hallwith his god's power, but he didn't replace any lead pointing to the doors of these hidden rooms."Darren, I think it's pointless to search them like this. Those rooms must be separated by the SpatialLaw," the dragon ancestor speculated.

"You're right. That must be the reason why we can't replace them.”

Darren also realized that since the hall was formed by the Archean laws, it wouldn't be like any otherhalls. There must be some tricks behind it.

"Have you noticed that the pictures on the wall seem to move in some complicated trajectory? Thisplace must be the center of some kind of array,” the dragon ancestor concluded after carefullyobserving for a while.

Indeed, the center of an array was the key to control the array that was formed by certain laws.With this in mind, Darren stared intently at the paintings of the beasts on the wall. He unleashed hisgod's sense and traced his hand on the wall. When the lifelike beasts were touched by his god'ssense, they seemed to become agitated and were ready to pounce on him.

"Darren, attack them immediately!"

The dragon ancestor seemed to have figured out something as he ordered Darren

On the four sides of the walls, there were twelve Archean beasts.

"Got it!"

Without hesitation, Darren took action and attacked one of the beasts.

A stream of god's power quickly hit a dark beast that looked like a wild cat.

"What? No reaction?"

Darren's god's power vibrated and just dissipated without causing any waves.

"No. Take a look at that. There is a very shallow palm print on the chest of the beast. Your attackmust have caused it," the dragon ancestor pointed out.

"Oh, yeah. It's true!" Darren also noticed it upon closer inspection.

"Come out! I know you beasts are guarding the hall!" the dragon ancestor confidently roared whilehis hands were behind his back.

"Ha-ha! Good job, old man. I see that you have sharp eyes. I can't believe you spotted that easily.”Swoosh!

With swift movements, the black cat jumped down from the wall.

"Humph! What were you planning? A sneak attack on us?" the dragon ancestor snorted coldly.

"Ha! That's a ridiculous thing to say! If I were dealing with the golden dragon, then yeah, I might bea little cautious. But I don't need a sneak attack to deal with the two of you!" the black cat retortedin a disdainful tone.

Darren stared at the black cat with a serious expression and said, "Why are you looking down on us?You're not even that strong to begin with. Why are you acting so high and mighty?"

Darren perceived that the black cat was, at most, just as powerful as a cultivator at the middle-levelof the Celestial God Realm.

There was no way that he and the dragon ancestor would go down in a fight against the cat.

After all, the battle beasts that Darren and his companions had controlled before should be severaltimes stronger than the black cat.

However, the black cat just stared mockingly at Darren as if he had said something very stupid. "Idon't have time for pointless conversations. Anyone who wants to enter the inheritance spaceshould defeat me first. So, come and see for yourself if you can do something against me.”

Darren immediately took a step forward. He felt that Sewell was even stronger than this black cat.Therefore, he wasn't that concerned at all.

Then, the black cat bent down, readying himself to attack.

"Just do it. This is just to make things go smoothly. Make your move and I will seize a chance tocatch him off guard,” the dragon ancestor said firmly.

Then, Darren moved and closed in. With the divine sword in his hand, he unleashed his strongestsword intent.

"Take this!"

His attack was slashed towards the black cat's throat.

However, the black cat just lifted his claws and effortlessly resisted Darren's attack.

As the enormous sword intent fell on the black cat, it didn’t even damage his fur.

Darren immediately retreated and realized that although the black cat's fighting power was nothingto be feared of, he had a remarkably strong defensive power.

It was this Archean creature's unique advantage. With the creature's seemingly indestructibledefenses, Darren would really have a hard time dealing with him.

"Hal Is that it? I wonder how you managed to survive until this point. You're just plain stupid anduseless!" the black cat hurled some insults with a smirk on his face.

Darren just sneered and retorted, "You, bastard. Just wait. I'll shut that filthy mouth of yours!""Ha-ha! Die, you piece of trash!" The black cat got pissed off at Darren's arrogance and took theinitiative to launch his own attack.

Then, a gust of wind blew over, making Darren feel a chill on his back.

It was actually the black cat. His speed had become astonishingly fast. Darren was taken aback. Thiswas beyond his expectations.

"Hey, watch out!" the dragon ancestor warned him.

He was keeping an eye while they were fighting all this time. Thus, when he found that Darren wasin danger, he immediately took action

Then, a powerful dragon blood aura suddenly rushed behind Darren.

Boom!

The dragon blood aura exploded and a black shadow suddenly appeared.

"How dare you get in the way?"

The black cat wasn't actually angry. Instead, he had a huge grin on his face.

"It is said that dragons originated from the Chaotic Age. Moreover, their meat is extremely delicious.I'm rather glad that I'll have the chance to taste it today," the black cat said as he licked his claws.Swoosh!

In the blink of an eye, the black cat disappeared again.

Swish! Splat!

All of a sudden, five horrifying claw marks appeared on the chest of the dragon ancestor, whereblood gushed out. If he had been a little slower in his retreat, his heart might have been laceratedtoo.

Seeing this, both the dragon ancestor and Darren were surprised. They wondered how the black catsuddenly became this powerful.

Then, the black cat lightly landed on the ground, raised his claws, and licked the trickling dragonblood on them.

"I've told you earlier. Compared to the golden dragon, you're just like pitiful insects in front of me."It turned out that the strength of the black cat that Darren perceived earlier wasn't at his fullest. Hisreal strength was at least at the same level as the golden dragon.

They were in a dangerous situation right now since the five-clawed golden dragon was muchstronger than the dragon ancestor, who had only resurrected just recently.

Darren also started to panic. It was clear now that the beasts guarding the hall were indeedpowerful. How could he enter the inheritance space then?

There were still eleven beasts on the walls. Furthermore, they had no idea if these beasts were evenstronger than the black cat.

There was no way for Darren to beat all those beasts at his current level.

Darren suddenly remembered the magical colorful flag. He knew that it was able to suppress all thecreatures in the relic. If it also worked with the beasts in the hall, he might still have a chance to turnthis predicament around.
