Chapter 1418 The Bloodsucker Race

In just a blink of an eye, five days had already passed. In two more days, they would reach thecapital city of the Blood Cloud Region.

It had been quiet these days. The young people outside didn't dare come in to cause trouble.

But Darren knew that their hatred for him had only grown more intense.

During the past days, he had gained a lot. His opponents" hostility had improved his cultivationbase. As he was preparing to practice once more, a violent earthquake shook the floor beneath him."Weber, go out and check if those guys are causing trouble.”

Darren had never seen such creatures before.

"It's the bloodsucker race!"

Having such wide knowledge and experience, Gatlin could immediately recognize those strangecreatures. They were dangerous beings that lived in the far west of the Primitive Wilderness.

They were strong and had preference for blood. It was said that these creatures would even dare todrink the black blood of the fiends.

"We're doomed! We're doomed!"

"What a terrible thing! Why are they in our human territory? Does this mean that the Ancestral Landhas already been occupied?”

The cowards among the crowd began to cry and shout in fear. They were too scared of these fiercecreatures.

Then, with a flash of light, one of the winged creatures landed on the Thunder Bird's back.

His face was pure white, and his eyes were sunken deep in his sockets.

There was malice in his eyes as he looked around. He then stretched out his white, slender fingersand waved at a woman. She automatically flew into his waiting hand.

With his hand wrapped around her neck, he sank his two sharp teeth into her throat. Bloodimmediately gushed out.

"The taste is so average. Truly, the blood of scared people isn't delicious enough.” Disgusted, thecreature then threw the human girl away.

"Ellis! Why didn't you save my sister? How can you watch her die?" another woman with red rimmedeyes cried out.

The young man named Ellis Lu suddenly slapped her on the face.

"Why would I save her? She's a bitch. In fact, you're even lower than a bitch. You're just my toys. Sodon't forget that."

With that, he then stepped forward and knelt down before the winged creature. "Distinguished Lordof the noble bloodsucker race, please accept my humble and sincere greetings.”

"How do you know the etiquette of our race?"

Initially, the powerful bloodsucker planned to suck Ellis’ blood, but he quickly changed his mindupon seeing how Ellis properly greeted him according to the bloodsucker race's etiquette."Distinguished Lord, my mother is part of your race's noble blood lineage. Her name is MarleyAriola. And while I may have some human blood in me, my heart has always been with the greatbloodsucker race. I'm very proficient with all your race's etiquette.”

"Ellis, you!"

"Ellis, are you really from a foreign race?"

"This is too terrifying.”

This revelation had deeply shocked everyone, even his friends.

Darren and his two companions were quiet the entire time, trying to replace out more about thebloodsucker race.

"You lowly ant, let Lord Carthy have a taste of your blood.”

Ellis lifted the goblet up with one hand while the other held a knife at Darren's throat, ready to spillblood.

But before he could even move, a flash of sword light passed through him.

The next moment, his head rolled to the ground.

All eyes were suddenly focused on Darren.

Could it be... That he was resisting? He just killed Ellis Lu. No, he killed the bloodsucker'scompanion!

This scene had frightened the humans even more. They were hoping that the bloodsucker would letthem go once he drank some delicious blood.

Instead, this young man had resisted and even killed Ellis Lu in front of the bloodsucker!

This action had sealed their doom!

"How...how dare you! How dare you kill Lord Carthy's servant in front of his very own eyes? Do youwant to die?"

someone shouted angrily at Darren. Deep down, the man was hoping it would convince thebloodsucker not to kill him.

A foreign race had invaded their territory and yet these people weren't angry. They weregroveling at their enemy's feet instead. This was truly a heartbreaking sight.

If these were brave men, they wouldn't care if their blood got sucked. They wouldn't care if theydied. They would choose to fight and die with honor!

Unfortunately, not everyone was as brave as Darren.

"The human race is so interesting,”

Carthy said mockingly. He called a man over, filled a cup of the man's blood, and sipped from it."Well, as long as you're willing to offer your blood to me, I promise not to kill you." He smiledteasingly.

"Lord Carthy, it is my honor to serve my blood to you."

"Lord Carthy, please have as much of my blood as you want. I'm willing to serve you forever as longas you spare my life."

With renewed hope, many people fell down to their knees and prostrated themselves at thebloodsucker. All of them were ready to obey him.

"You're very interesting. I suppose you don't plan on offering you blood to me, am I right?"
