Talented Martial Hero
Chapter 1425 Elsa's Experience

Darren and the others returned at the sound of Gilmer yelling at them.

The acting region leader had indicated that Elsa was indeed held in his Blood Cloud Palace!

"Hand her over to me,” Darren said not wasting any time with useless conversation. He knew whathe was here for and nothing else would do.

"Darren, it's not that simple. Follow me back to the palace and then perhaps you will understand,”Gilmer replied.

He then gestured an open palm towards the sky, suggesting Darren to go with him.

"Darren, don't go there. It must be a trick. He's luring you into his trap!" Weber warned frantically."He has no cause to do such things," Darren said coolly.

He took two steps forward and then took off into the air, followed by Weber and Gatlin.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh...

Gilmer, along with several law enforcement elders of the Blood Cloud Region, followed as well. There were only a few senior elders and Gilmer to be found in the Blood Cloud Palace. The rest hadexcused themselves.

"Where is Elsa?" Darren asked flatly.

"Bring her out," Gilmer ordered.

He knew that if Darren did not see her himself, he would never give up and would undoubtedlycause some sort of scene. The truth could no longer be covered up so he decided to let him see her.Not long after the order was given, an iron cage was carried into the hall by two senior elders, slowand careful.

In the cage, tied to a black cross, was a creature with blood-red skin and wings growing out its back.Darren sprung up, his eyes burning with an untamed fury!

Whoosh!

He charged over and slashed his sword at the cage wildly. Sparks ignited and flew in all directionswith every swish, but the cage remained unbroken. Darren, on the other hand, bounced off it andcrashed into the wall heavily.

His rage was undeterred, and he instantly flew back, landed face to face with Gilmer and took firmhold of his collar, drawing him in close.

"What did you do to her?" Darren asked cruelly, spittle bubbling in the corners of his mouth and hisanger clear for all to see.

His eyes had widened so much they looked as though they might pop out of his head. He could tellfrom just a glance that the winged creature was Elsa.

Gilmer had not expected Darren to go this crazy. He released his god's power, pushing Darren awaywithout moving a muscle.

"Darren, calm yourself. Elsa's current state has nothing to do with us. Your anger with us ismisplaced,”

Gilmer said, his voice carrying god's power that could break through the soul. This sobered Darrenat least a little.

Darren stood still, his eyes bloodshot and filled with anger.

He then walked over to the cage, one slow step at a time, his lips trembling slightly with everysolemn stride. "Elsa, I'm back," he said.

But the eyes of the creature were cold and did not even look up at him. Those eyes had long sincebeen unable to recognize him.

"Let's go. Let me get you out of here," Darren said, looking over the cage helplessly, a lump in histhroat.

"Darren, I'm sorry, but you can't take her away from here.”

Gilmer walked over and signaled to Darren to step away from the cage.

He saw Darren's rage about to flare once more and quickly added, "If you take her away, she willdie. Without question. Sit down and I will tell you everything. Elsa is already this way. Getting madwill do nothing to change that."

"Shut your mouth!" Darren growled.

"Restrain him!"

Gilmer shouted, ordering the two senior elders to respond quickly.

Whoosh!

The two flew over and took hold of Darren, holding him down and restraining him, rendering himunable to move.

"Mr. Zhuang, this is not necessary. Let's talk!" Gatlin objected. Faced with such powerful warriors, heknew they had no chance in a head-on fight.

"Gilmer Zhuang, if you dare hurt Darren, within two hours my master will be here to cause you aworld of pain!" Weber yelled out. Just as he was about to fly over, a god's power barrier stoppedhim in his tracks.

"Everyone, calm down. Darren is simply too emotional. I have to keep him in check right now. Relax,I won't hurt him. Do not worry about that,” explained Gilmer, trying to ease their minds andtempers.

"Darren, Elsa has been assimilated by the bloodsucker race. That is why she is like this now. And it'snot just her; our region leader has been assimilated too!"

"Let go of me!"

Darren roared viciously, his eyes wild like a beast's.

The two elders ignored his protests and kept hold of him.

"Calm down. Let me tell you the whole story. The one who assimilated Elsa and our region leader isan extremely powerful Bloodsucker Prince. If you take Elsa by force, against our will, she will die inthree days without the blood of our leader.

Let go of him. Let him do as he pleases.”

Gilmer ordered the two elders off of Darren.

Darren shrugged them off and stood up, looking at Elsa in the cage, his heart heavy and his limbsfeeling as though the energy was draining from them

"Hmmm." Darren breathed a deep sigh, and his face seemed to have reverted back to a somewhatless angry state.

"Mr. Zhuang, could you tell me every detail of what happened?" Darren, in low spirits, straightenedhis clothes and walked over to Gilmer calmly.

Gilmer was surprised by how quickly he had managed to subdue himself.

"Come. Sit. I will tell you. Here's what happened...” Gilmer began.

Several decades ago, around the time after Darren was captured by the fiend race, Elsa was rescuedby the disciples of the Blood Cloud Region, who arranged for her to stay in the Cloud RefinementSect.

Elsa was dispirited and on the verge of despair. She had even lost the will to live.

It was said that an old woman from the Cloud Refinement Sect comforted her by telling her thatwhen she became stronger, she'd be able to replace Darren. The woman offered her more words ofcomfort like this and Elsa began cultivating hard, without rest.

For a period of time, her cultivation base increased rapidly. However, it came at a price. This rapidincrease only came with the suppression of who she was. She had been hard on herself for far toolong. This was clearly not the right way to go about it.

Because of this, it was not long before she spiraled into madness, and a fatal Inner Fiend arose fromthe depths of her heart.

No one knew this had happened.

It was not until a few years later that the Inner Fiend became known, when someone heard a shrillroar coming from the cave Elsa was cultivating in. The fairy light and the devil light pierced throughthe sky;

that was when people came to know she was fighting with her Inner Fiend. In the end, Elsa cameout victorious. She gained a lot in cultivation from her victory and soon reached the Star God Realm. She then began trying to break through the Cloud Refinement Sect's exit pass. She eventuallypassed the test, placing first in the sect's history.

Just when she thought she could finally go looking for Darren, something terrible happened.

One day, she suddenly lost her mind, and a pair of terrible blood wings sprouted through her back.No one understood what was happening.

The matter alarmed Connor, the leader of the Blood Cloud Region, who quickly flew over toexamine the situation.

A blood river then fell from the sky and took him away.

Many people then looked up above to see countless blood waves rolling in the depths of the void, fluctuating the god's power.

Ten days later, Connor fell from the sky, his face and body mutilated beyond recognition.

Senior warriors of the Blood Cloud Palace gathered their courage and approached the distortedfigure. They hastily took Elsa and their leader away, and tried to cover it all up and keep the truth ofwhat had happened hidden.

Later, after much study and investigation, they discovered that Elsa and the leader of the BloodCloud Region had been bitten by a powerful Bloodsucker Prince, and his blood had beentransferred into their bodies.

Since then, every six months, the leader and Elsa had to absorb each other's blood to survive. Thishad been going on for decades now.

This was the reason the leader of the Blood Cloud Region had not shown up when the Archeanmountain appeared.

Darren finally calmed all the way down after hearing Gilmer tell the tale. He stared at Elsa who wastrapped in the cage, and sobbed heartily.

Elsa had been through some seriously tough times these past years.
