Talented Martial Hero
Chapter 1427 The Plan

Carthy's words gave Darren and the others a glimmer of hope.

"But, master, what I have thought might be a little difficult to do," Carthy said, sounding a littlehesitant.

"Just tell me first."

"Okay."

Carthy nodded and added, "It's actually simple. Since your wife has not been completelytransformed, she doesn't belong to the Defiant Bloodsucker Prince yet. In other words, anotherpowerful Bloodsucker Prince can still take her over.

So what we need to do is replace a powerful Bloodsucker Prince who can turn your wife into a realmember of the bloodsucker race, and then kill that Bloodsucker Prince."

Carthy came up with this idea because Elsa was a human being.

Even if the Bloodsucker Prince, who transformed her, died, she wouldn't die. And she could stillregain her human form and consciousness.

As long as the Bloodsucker Prince, who completely transformed her, died, she would become ahuman again.

After listening to Carthy's explanation, Darren and the others also thought that his idea was feasible. However, it was not easy to replace a powerful Bloodsucker Prince who could transform Elsacompletely. Moreover, it would be difficult to kill the Bloodsucker Prince after the transformation.

A Bloodsucker Prince was way too powerful for them.

"If we can't replace a powerful Bloodsucker Prince, can a bloodsucker race member who is inferior to aprince do it?" Darren asked.

Carthy shook his head. "No, master. The Defiant Bloodsucker Prince's bloodline is too powerful.Even if there is only a trace of his blood left in your wife's body, it is still too powerful. An ordinarymember of the bloodsucker race won't be able to suppress it. No one else can transform your wifeexcept for the Bloodsucker Princes.”

Darren and the others nodded silently.

Somehow, they were enlightened after listening to Carthy's explanation. They weren't that hopelessanymore. Besides, it was much easier to kill a Bloodsucker Prince than a Defiant Bloodsucker Prince."Do you know where we can replace a Bloodsucker Prince?"

"Yes, I do.” Carthy nodded. But his face twitched involuntarily.

"Then, just tell us. Why do you look so hesitant all of a sudden?" Weber snapped.

Carthy hesitated for a while before he finally said, "There is actually a Bloodsucker Prince in thehuman territory.”

Darren got confused upon seeing the unnatural expression on Carthy's face. As his believer, Carthyshould not show such a look.

"Why are you so hesitant?" Darren asked in a cold voice.

"Master, that Bloodsucker Prince is my father.”

Darren was surprised but finally understood. He knew that as his believer, Carthy was absolutelyloyal to him. But it wouldn't change Carthy's connection and affection towards his family.

Darren and the others were going to kill the chosen prince. Naturally, Carthy was in a dilemma. Afterall, it was his father.

"Master, please don't kill my father,”

Carthy begged as he suddenly knelt down. He was left with no choice. If Darren forced him to goback home and took his father, he couldn't disobey Darren's order. But he didn't want his father todie either. He was torn between his father and his master.

"Darren, don't mind him. He is your believer. You can use him to deceive the Bloodsucker Prince tocome here," said a senior elder of the Blood Cloud Palace.

"That's right. Besides, the bloodsucker race is a threat to our human race. How can we not kill themif we have a chance, especially that we are going to do it to save your wife and our leader?" anothersenior elder added.

Carthy felt so desperate upon hearing them

"Master, please spare my father. I beg you." He continued to beg, prostrating himself.

"Humph! Think about how many humans your race has killed and how much blood of ours youhave absorbed. Go and bring your father here. Do something good for your master," said thesecond senior elder coldly.

Carthy was fidgeting on the ground. He was praying that Darren would listen to him and spare hisfather.

"What do you think, Darren?” Gilmer asked when he noticed that Darren fell silent.

Darren shook his head slightly.

"Darren, don't you agree with us? Think twice. You know that the human race hates the bloodsuckerrace so much. Killing a Bloodsucker Prince is already equivalent to saving the lives of thousands ofhumans. This is not something trivial.” The senior elders couldn't hide the anxiety on their faces."It's true that the bloodsucker race has killed a lot of humans. But not everyone in the human racedeserves to live either. Some people even deserve more than death.”

Darren's words were based on his personal experiences. He had met a lot of stupid and cowardlyhuman beings that he thought didn't deserve to live. Those people were not good for the humanrace.

"But, we will surely have to kill a Bloodsucker Prince," he added. Only a Bloodsucker Prince couldsave Elsa and the leader of the Blood Cloud Region. This fact couldn't be changed, so they had tokill at least one Bloodsucker Prince.

"What is your plan, then?” Gilmer asked in confusion.

"Let's trick more than one Bloodsucker Prince to come here," Darren answered.

"Ha-ha! Darren, I'm all ears. Tell me the details of your plan,” Gilmer said as his eyes lit up.

"Well, we have to think of a good excuse. Then we will let Carthy go home and tell his father tomeet with a few Bloodsucker Princes. By that time, you can ask the Ancestral Land to ambush them. What do you think?"

Darren's idea didn't alleviate Carthy's despair at all. With such a plan, he knew that his father stillcouldn't escape death.

"I don't think that's possible. The Ancestral Land will not send their people. All the other races havereached an agreement with our human race that we are not allowed to attack the senior leaders ofother races. Otherwise, a war will break out. The human race is weak and is likely to be destroyed ina short period if that happens.

For us to besiege the Bloodsucker Princes, we have to rely on the warriors outside the AncestralLand,” explained Gilmer.

Darren understood. As a matter of fact, he had already known about the agreement since the dayhe entered the Primitive Wilderness. Back then, Scott had killed a beast and was punished by theAncestral Land.

"In this case, we have to ask Lord Starry Sword to help us," Darren murmured almost to himself.

It was not easy to kill a Bloodsucker Prince. Even Lord Starry Sword had to work together with somedeputy gods to do it.

But he had no other choice. Only Lord Starry Sword could help them this time.

Moreover, how to trick the Bloodsucker Princes and make them relax their vigilance also neededcareful planning.

Knowing that Carthy was still worried about his father, Darren turned to him and said, "Don't worry,Carthy. As your master, I promise that your father won't be killed. The worst thing that can happento him is that he will be imprisoned. But of course, if he is willing to be my believer, he can also getthe same freedom as you do.”

"Really, master?”

Carthy raised his head and looked at Darren. His eyes filled with excitement in an instant.

He couldn't believe that Darren was willing to spare his father's life.

"Of course. Don't worry. I am a man of my word."

"Thank you, my great master. Thank you so much.” Carthy kowtowed to Darren.

"Well, don't be too excited yet. Help me think carefully. Can you possibly convince your father tobring the other Bloodsucker Princes here?" Darren said.

"Of course, master,” Carthy said confidently as he stood up.

"Why do you look so happy over others’ misfortune?” Weber commented as he looked at Carthy. He wondered why Carthy became so excited all of a sudden.

"You just don't know, but all the Bloodsucker Princes treat each other as enemies,” Carthy repliedwith a smile.
