Talented Martial Hero
Chapter 1452 Secret Observation

"We have three distinguished guests. Serve the good wine!"

shouted the waiter to the kitchen and three jars of good wine flew to the table at once.Disregarding what anyone might think, Jamison lifted the jar and emptied the entire thing down histhroat in one massive gulp.

"No need to rush, Jamison. Take your time," Darren jested, laughing at him. He then called thewaiter over.

"Sir, could you please tell me the way to the Five Dangerous Areas?" Darren asked politely.

The waiter shook his head with frown on his face. He had never heard of the Five Dangerous Areas."I'm sorry, sir. I do not know of that place," he replied.

"Oh, that's ok, thanks anyway," Darren smiled back.

Bang! Bang!

The wooden gate of the tavern was kicked in, the pieces flying across the room

Ten men in black robes burst into the tavern. Peculiarly, no aura came off them, it was as if theywere dead.

Darren and his companions all turned their heads at the same time to look at who had so brutishlybarged in

“Perhaps the people of the Chaotic Region are just very rude. Better not to meddle in their affairs,’thought Darren to himself.

"Gentlemen, what kind of wine would you like?"

The waiter asked as he came forward to greet these new patrons, but they all just stood there insilence.

"Anything at all?" The waiter pressed further.

Whoosh!

One of them grabbed the waiter by the throat and squeezed tight, saying in a rough andthreatening voice, "Cut the crap. This place is ours now. Get out of here right now!"

"Y...es, sir," replied the waiter, struggling through his choking.

His face had turned red and his eyes looked as though they were about to pop out.

"Gentlemen... Take it... easy," the waiter continued, a hand still coiled tightly around his neck."Humph!"

The man in the black robe flung the waiter aside in disgust. He hit the ground hard and rolledacross the floor before he got to his feet and rushed out.

Not long after, a middle-aged man with his hair disheveled, emerged from the back room.

He appeared to be a little drunk and carried a pot of wine in his hand. His eyes were glazed overand seemed to change with every second. He glanced over at everyone in the tavern, lowered hishead to his wine and took a sip.

"Get out of my sight!" growled the man in the black robe.

The middle-aged man nodded repeatedly and staggered out in the waiter's tracks.

Both the waiter and the owner of the tavern had left, but the three guests had not moved.

A strong wind suddenly swept towards Darren and his companions,

but disappeared into nothingness before it even touched the table where they sat.

"What?"

All ten men in black robes looked over at them simultaneously, stunned looks across all their faces."Are they strong masters?"

Stewart then stood up; he looked like any ordinary old man. "Gentlemen! We are just passing byand wanted to have a drink here. If we are bothering you, we'll leave right away,” he announcedcourteously.

He then hinted at Darren and Jamison, with a slight nod, that they should leave.

Darren admired Stewart. Even as a top level master of the Superior God Realm, he could still keepsuch a low profile. Not many super masters were capable of controlling their temperament so well. The three of them then left the tavern immediately.

"Master, please come in!" the men in black robes shouted to the sky once they had left.

A tall figure in a red robe flew into the tavern violently, shaking the furniture as he landed."They're quite vile. Let's get out of here and leave them alone!" said Jamison with two jars of wineclutched in his hands.

"Not so fast,” Stewart raised his hands and said, steadying Jamison. He then continued, "Let's hideand see what they're going to do. This is a good opportunity to observe how people behave here inthe Chaotic Region.”

"You're right,” Darren nodded in agreement.

Soon, the three of them had flown thousands of kilometers up into the sky. Stewart used a uniquetechnique to hide them, while they spied at the activities on the ground with their god's senses. The man in the red robe sat in the dim tavern, looking around with serious eyes.

"Are you sure this is the Chu Clan’s old business?"

"Yes, master. I'm sure.”

"Then hurry and replace out if there are any fragments of the divine weapons hidden here!"commanded the man in the red robe viciously.

"Yes, master!" the men answered with fear ringing in their voices.

The ten men had begun their search when their master asked, "Wait a minute. Where are the peoplefrom this tavern?”

"We drove them all away, master.”

Slap!

The leading man in a black robe was slapped clean across his face and it began to swell instantly. Hefell to his knees in terror, holding in his pain.

"How dare you let them leave such an important place? You've ruined my plan. I'm done with yourfoolishness!"

Bang!

The man in the black robe’s head was smashed off into oblivion.

"Go catch them and bring them back here right now!"

"Yes, master!"

The remaining nine men in black robes all ran out of the tavern in a hurry.

The man in the red robe dashed around the building. He had searched the tavern in a flash, including the basement, but found nothing.

A while later, the middle-aged man and the waiter were captured and brought to the tavern."Kneel!" the men yelled at them.

"My king, please spare me."

The waiter trembled and could not stop as his fear overtook him. He decided that the man in thered robe must be a king and he could not afford to offend him.

The disheveled middle-aged man next to him sat with a blank, numb demeanor.

"Old bastard, are you the descendant of the Chu Clan?" asked the man in the red robe cruelly as hestrode over.

This question seemed to have piqued something in him, and a strange light flashed through themiddle-aged man's blurred eyes.

However, he lowered his head and shook it, like a common drunk mortal

"Do not pretend with me! Hand over the divine weapon fragments right now, or you will die," saidthe man in red robe as he kicked the middle-aged man away.

Darren and his two companions had a clear view from the sky of what was happening below.

It turned out these people were looking for an old establishment left behind by the Chu Clan, andsome important fragments as well.

Darren had thought this was none of his business, but he did not feel that way anymore.

If this middle-aged man really was a member of the Chu Clan, as the patriarch of the clan, it wasDarren's responsibility to protect him.

But he was in no hurry to get involved yet. He had to see exactly what was going on first and waitfor the right moment.

The middle-aged man rolled over and lay on the ground, without making any sound of pain, or anysounds at all for that matter.

"Old bastard, are you going to play dumb?"

A man in a black robe rushed over, grabbed the middle-aged man's arm and broke it.

"Oh, my kings, please let him go. His family has run taverns for generations, and he is just ahopeless man. Please spare him!" pleaded the waiter.

He had once suffered from a strange disease and was on the verge of death when the owner of thetavern saved him. He had stayed to be a waiter since that day, and never left.

Bang!

The waiter's head was crushed to smithereens.

The middle-aged man shuddered violently on the ground. A killing intent flashed through his turbideyes, but soon disappeared.

"Everyone in the world will die. Go ahead, all of you," he murmured in dejected despair.

"What are you waiting for? Peel his skin!"

“Yes, master!"

Several men in black robes rushed over, ready to torture him

"How dare you!"

bellowed a man in a purple robe as he appeared out of nowhere.

The men in black robes were stunned. Wasn't this the young man who had just been driven away? Why would he dare come back?

"Kill him!"

A man in black robe rushed over and swung wildly to punch Darren on the head.

Blood splattered all over the room, but it was not Darren's. The man in a black robe had been cut tolittle chunks by Darren's sword intent.
