Chapter 1475 The Way Of Escape

Todd's body became whole again after a powerful Resurrection Force gathered around it andcondensed it to its former state.

Out of the dark tunnel emerged a figure in white. Then came a young man in purple from behind it.It was the Rule Soul Avatar and Darren!

They stepped out and stood side by side, seeming strong and hardened by what they had beenthrough. Darren let out a sigh of relief when he looked at the Rule Soul Avatar and said, "I thoughtyou had been killed. How did you manage to escape?”

He sounded relaxed, hiding his sadness that only he knew of.

The Rule Soul Avatar then formed images of what had taken place in his escape and relayed themto Darren's mind.

What Darren saw, was how the Rule Soul Avatar had turned himself into little particles and yetMurray still crushed him together with the space.

However, he had anticipated this using his powerful deduction ability. He reacted by turning hisphysical body into dots of light. Then, with his soul wrapped in the Resurrection Force, he enteredthe shattered space.

He knew he was still in danger of dying despite his quick thinking. Once the space collapsed, hissoul would dissipate but luckily, he was prepared for this as well.

Thus, just as Murray was about to smash the space, the Rule Soul Avatar activated the Source ofLaws and set the tunnel in the dark space turbulent flow, allowing his soul to quietly sneak in andescape.

This was how he had managed to escape that hairy situation. As Darren saw it, it was an incrediblycomplex process. Somehow it had all happened in less than a second; it took a lot of preparationand fast thinking and decision making. Every step of the plan had to be executed to perfection. Itwas by no means an easy escape for the Rule Soul Avatar.

A moment ago, Darren himself had almost been crushed, despite the protection of the bloodvitality. It was at that critical moment that the Rule Soul Avatar had opened the tunnel and takenDarren and the two Bloodsucker Princes through. Only then were they somewhat safe.

They hid in a narrow crack immediately on arriving at the Source of Laws. The Rule Soul Avatar hadnot dared show himself. Once the creatures that dwelled there discovered that he had returned,he'd be doomed with no way out.

When he had activated the Source of Law the last time, he had attracted the anger of the chiefgods. The masters that had survived that disaster now all harbored a deep hatred for him. If he hadany other choice, he would not have come back to this place.

The two Bloodsucker Princes had been absolutely stunned by what they saw. They were in what wasbasically the biggest treasure house in the world! Once they realized this, they immediately pleadedwith the Rule Soul Avatar to let them stay behind to cultivate.

They were totally loyal to Darren and so he agreed. He sent them directly to the center of the area,allowing them to replace their own way to improve their strength.

The Rule Soul Avatar and Darren had almost been detected by the powerful warriors in the area,right at the moment when the battle between Todd and Murray had ended. Not wanting any moretrouble, they quickly escaped out of that place, just in time to resurrect Todd.

Todd finally showed a glimmer of life under the treatment of the Resurrection Force.

From the darkness, another body floated up with the effect of the god's power. It was Murray.Darren had made the request of the Rule Soul Avatar to save Murray.

Murray, the God of Spear, was as powerful as Todd. Although he had tried many times to kill Darren,the latter knew he was not a man of great evil. He was just misguided in his ambitions. How couldhe think he'd be able to establish a paradise in this dark and turbulent era?

After the Rule Soul Avatar used the Resurrection Force to save the two lives, Darren mobilized hisgod's power to heal their wounds.

In a month, they would regain enough vitality to heal themselves.

But since they had died once, it would take at least a few months for them to fully recover on theirown.

Therefore, the Rule Soul Avatar decided to help them get well faster. A few days later, he infused theResurrection Force into his time-accelerating method.

It consumed a large amount of Spirit Power, but he managed to accelerate Todd's treatment,allowing him to regain consciousness.

Todd opened his eyes, confused and discombobulated.

His death seemed a lifetime ago and the entire world had become strange to him.

He was stuck in a daze for a long time before finally, his memories flooded back into his brainpainfully.

His eyes gradually cleared and he began recovering.

Of course, Todd's resurrection had depended entirely on the marvelous treatment the Rule SoulAvatar had provided. Crucially, he had begun the treatment at the moment of his death, a fewsecond later and it would have been impossible to save him, no matter how powerful the Rule SoulAvatar was.

"How do you feel, sir?" Darren asked right away.

"Amazing," Todd replied astounded and surprised. He continued, "I was at the top level of theDeputy God Realm, but your avatar brought me back. Who would have thought your avatar wouldbe so powerful? It's really quite amazing."

"Ha ha," Darren chuckled happily. Todd was talking about his avatar. Darren responded, "When I wasin the Lothlann Continent, in order to avoid the thunder punishment, I forced myself to separatefrom him. He inherited all the potential of my rule cultivation at that time. He then cultivated andevolved on his own, achieving this incredible power he has now."

"Good, good, good!" Todd exclaimed, overtaken by excitement. He had never heard of anything likethis and it truly fascinated him. "You two are the human race's last hope!" he then screamed.

Darren had once been enough to amaze Todd. But now that he'd seen the methods of his avatar, hewas bursting with astonishment. The avatar's talent, potential and skills of rule cultivation werenothing to snuff at and was no worse than that of anyone else in the Immortal Land!

In terms of potential, it was not too farfetched to call the Rule Soul Avatar the number one rulecultivator of the human race!

"By the way, Darren, may I ask what your avatar's name is?"

"His name is Xavier Chu."

Todd nodded and cupped his hands. "Thank you very much, Xavier. I will always remember yourhelp and I am eternally grateful.”

The Rule Soul Avatar was aloof by nature, but since Todd was his senior and had died in battle forDarren, he was grateful as well and had much respect for him. Because of this, he responded,"You're welcome, sir. It was my duty, the least I could do. It was the right thing to do.”

Darren was overjoyed by what he had just witnessed.

The Rule Soul Avatar had certainly changed quite a bit. He was beginning to understand the ways ofthe world. Only with this could he be a real creature.

"Sir, my avatar saved Murray as well. What should we do with him?" Darren asked.

Todd was filled with mixed feelings as he looked on at the man floating in front of him.

He and Murray had once been part of the same force, known as the Heavenly Eagle, which Murrayhad founded. When he first joined the force, he was only at the Celestial God Realm.

But the warriors of the Heavenly Eagle had never despised him for his low cultivation base. They hadsaved his life in many battles.

Murray, their captain, had cared for him like a brother, rather than a superior leader of the force.Time flew. Many years had passed.

Those hot-blooded people had long been drowned by the torrent of history, and Todd had becomestrong, reaching the top level of the Deputy God Realm.

He had never thought he would see Murray again, or that they would have a fierce battle when theywere finally reunited.

Todd let out a long sigh of grief and concern. He was in low spirits now, visibly down and very sad.
