The shadow laughed. "You're welcome. I must say that you're quite lucky. If you didn’t collect half ofthe Dark Emperor's Armor beforehand, I couldn't help you even if I wanted to."

Darren's survival hinged on coincidence because if the shadow didn't happen to have collected thepieces of the Dark Emperor's Armor, Darren would have only been killed by the metal creature.

"Sir, what's the origin of the Dark Emperor's Armor? How come it's so powerful?" Darren askedeagerly. He had his doubts about the armor. All he knew was that it seemed to be related to Aaronor the one who suppressed Aaron.

"The origin of the Dark Emperor's Armor is not simple.

By rough calculation, this armor has existed in the world for at least five million years and no onehas ever collected its pieces completely.

According to legends, millions of years ago, it was the Dark Emperor's personal armor," thephantom explained.

There was no confidence in his answer as it has been so long ago since he heard the information."Ha ha... you're quite knowledgeable but you still don't know the whole thing. The Remote Age, theAncient Age, and the Middle Age are so long ago. Thus, we have no way to learn many things fromthe three ages. Yet, we do know that the period from the end of the Middle Age to the beginning ofthe Last Age, is not just a simple replacement and many earth-shattering events happened duringthat time.

During the period from the destruction of the Middle Age to the time before the beginning of theLast Age, many rulers emerged and ruled for a short period. Among them, the most famous onewas Barnes the Holy, followed by the Remote Emperor, the Ruin Sword Emperor and the DarkEmperor. The four rulers all emerged at the change of ages.”
