Talented Martial Hero
Chapter 651 Returning To The Top Level

Darren's dragon body was almost crushed by the small monster's powerful blow.

His consciousness slowly but surely came back as he took in more hits. Darren felt a deep painstarted to spread and engulf his entire body.

But this kind of physical throbbing pain had filled his heart in delight.

As the small monster continued its attacks on Darren, he kept on taking the Seven-holy Fruits andrefining them in his stomach

As time went by, his internal organs began to heal little by little, and he started to recover as theelixir started to kick in. Despite so, it focused more on critical areas and thus the throbbingsensation of his outer body was still strong enough to stop him from reaching his full potential.

At this point, Darren had the ability to refine the Seven-holy Fruits in his hands.

Bang!

The monstrous palm hit Darren's body again, though this time it didn’t break his bones. Darren felta smile creep up his lips as he raised his head to look at the monster.

The beast with a tiger's head and a dragon's body was stunned for a moment, realizing that thetattered body of Darren from moments ago had become stronger all of a sudden.

Its eyes were now nothing but full of malice. It moved and struck Darren with its most powerfulattack. It didn't want to torture Darren's body any longer; it just wanted to kill him as soon aspossible.

But it didn't expect that the body it was grabbing would suddenly move, and the bloodied dragontail swept at it at a speed beyond compare.

Boom! With an ear-piercing sound, blood, flesh, and bones exploded out of the water.

As a result, the small monster's body was torn into several pieces of flesh and met its demise.

After the small monster perished, a dragon's aura began to disperse out of its body.

"Assimilate.” Without a moment's hesitation, Darren released his assimilating skills and engulfed it.A complex aura began to rush into his body. The warrior started absorbing only the aura of thedragon blood, abandoning the rest of the auras—tiger and bear, as he didn't need them.

After obtaining the dragon aura, Darren felt rather odd. The small monster was powerful, but itpossessed close to no talent for martial arts. He wondered why.

Despite so he had no time to ponder about why and ifs. Once the small monster had died, the othereight, far larger than the perished one, refused to stay silent and decided to avenge their smallfriend. They simultaneously raised their palms to Darren's direction and immediately landed theirattacks.

With the suppression alleviating, Darren's strength was restored, followed by his speed and agility. He ran as fast as he could while using as many Seven-holy Fruits as possible. The aura of the dragonblood filled his body, at the same time healing whatever leftover injuries he had.

"The suppression has been completely removed.” After what seemed to be forever, Darren waspositive that his strength was back to its exemplary shape. His body was still recovering though, making him unable to move freely. He was in no condition to fight all eight monsters at once.

So Darren decided to run away as fast as he could under the water.

Now that Darren no longer needed to use the Seven-holy Fruits, he took out some magic herbs andhealing pills instead to heal his body faster.

"That's too slow. I'll just absorb the purple leaf,” Darren muttered to himself. He started to recoverlittle by little and began to absorb the spiritual energy contained in the purple leaf.

The two purple leaves he had obtained prior had been absorbed several times, but the spiritualenergy on the first leaf had only been consumed by half.

The eight giant monsters started their pursuit after Darren wildly and refused to stop until theymade sure he were to die by their hands.

As more time passed, Darren had already flown hundreds of kilometers under the water from wherehe initially was. Of course, his current speed was far from his full potential. Though his strength wasno longer suppressed, his speed was still restricted due to the huge traction force of the water. The same was happening to the monsters behind him, so he didn't have much to complain.

Most of Darren's broken bones had healed by the large amount of spiritual energy coursingthrough his body, though his body still looked far from without a scratch.

Darren decided he would not run away anymore and abruptly stopped.

The aura of the dragon blood and the demonic internal force had returned to their top level.

Now, Darren was no longer afraid of any strong martial artist who'd come forth with forty percent ofthe Fringe Holy Will as he was not suppressed anymore.

As for these huge monsters, they were similar to those grand warriors who had mastered fortypercent of the Fringe Holy Will. Moreover, they didn't have much powerful martial arts skills. Theiroverall strength was far weaker than the human beings.

Darren turned around and shot back at a dangerously fast speed. His slim body had knocked into adragon body that was at least a hundred times bigger than him.

As he drew close to a huge monster, his olive-black dragon claw pierced its body. The olive-blackforce spread and instantly tore its body apart.

The blood tainting the water was as far as a kilometer wide.

The giant creature trembled in fear and it shook like a leaf. The water stirred violently, making thespace underwater seemingly spin.

Darren's figure quickly materialized around the giant monsters. As he pierced through them, largeamount of flesh would fall, and a flood of blood would gush out and dye the water crimson red.An hour later, Darren managed to successfully take care of two giant monsters and watch as theirbodies sunk deeper into the cold water.

After he killed two of the giant monsters, Darren had gotten an injury or two from the attacks fromthe other monsters. But compared to the previous injuries, he was barely hurt at all.

Regardless, the aura of the dragon blood that be obtained from the two monsters only sped up onhealing his injuries.

The remaining six monsters were already driven to a corner and were desperately attacking Darrenwith all their might.

"Humph! Go to hell"

Darren's body had recovered completely and his strength had reached its top level. He chargedtowards one of the giant monster's head like an arrow, and then shot out from its tail.

After a short moment, the giant monster sank to the bottom of the water like a pool of mud.Darren attacked more than ten thousand times in its abdomen, aiming specifically at its vital organsand breaking its bones so it would die quietly and quickly.

It didn't take too long for the other five to meet the same fate.

As the war went on, the water in the area was surging. It seemed that it would not be able to calmdown again for a few years.

After killing the giant monsters, Darren turned back to his human form and flew out the water andinto the air.

The air was still filled with thick purple mist, but Darren's spiritual sense had expanded while he wasrecovering. The range was about a kilometer radius.

"What?"

Just as Darren calmed down, he realized something shocking.

About one kilometer away, he sensed that many figures were flying in the sky. Although they werenot very fast, their auras were ancient and strong.

Whoosh!

Darren gathered all his strength and rushed towards that specific direction.

After an hour's chase, Darren finally saw the faces of those things.

They were all very human-shaped, thick red hair all over their bodies making them more noticeable. They all had weapons gripped tightly in their hands, with either stone axes, or stone spears.

Darren felt some humans’ auras within the thousands of red-haired creatures.

Darren flew down into the water, and used his spiritual sense to direct his way, surpassing thesered-haired creatures with ease. Then he flew up.

"Oh my God! We're done! Someone is coming after us!"

The humans trembled in shock. The figure that was flying over had a terrifying aura.

After a moment, those people screamed, "That's a human, someone black-haired.”

Looking at the disheveled figure with messy hair, their fear dissipated and was replaced with tears ofjoy-

The cold wind blew the man's hair back, revealing his face.

"It's...it's Darren!"

The humans were the ones who were ordered by the elders to distract the red-haired monsterswhile the rest of them made a run for it.

"It's Darren, my junior fellow apprentice! He's not dead! He's still alive!" screamed Hobson."Darren! Darren is still alive!"

Darren flew towards them and continued with them

"Why are there so many red-haired monsters chasing you?" Darren asked calmly.

"It was the damned elders of the Crimson Sea Sect who drew their attention. In order to escape, they forced us to distract these red-haired monsters. Otherwise, they would have killed us with aslap," Hobson barked, retelling Darren the awful thing that the elders did to them.

"Humph! Those damned elders! They are all just like these bastards. I will get even with them after Ikill these red-haired monsters,” Darren declared.

Everyone was exhausted that they felt like couldn't move any longer. However, Darren's words madethem feel nervous and excited at the same time.

Could Darren really take these red-haired monsters down? One had to replace the answer as to whythose seven-star elders with the strength at the top level could only flee as fast as they could facingthe red-haired monsters.
