"Sir, to whom do you refer?" Darren pretended not to know what the number one law enforcer wastalking about.

With a slight smile, the number one law enforcer, Auberon, said, "I need to know the background ofthat kid."

"He's my younger brother. Why do you need to investigate, sir?" Darren replied calmly.

"We are simply following the rules of the Sacred Palace.”

At first sight, Auberon felt that Aaron was not a member of the world. It was his duty to examine thebackground of any foreign creature in this world.

"Auberon, he is Darren's younger brother. He just mastered some ancient martial skills. How canyou be so serious with a kid?"

Theodore walked forward and patted Auberon on the shoulder.

"Theodore..."

The main reason for this display was that Auberon had informed them that Theodore was still alive.Darren, Theodore, and the others walked forward as Lord Donald ambled toward them.

"Ha-ha, Theodore. I've been looking forward to seeing you ever since I heard of your return,” LordDonald greeted as he reached them.

Theodore was stunned for a moment. Then he responded, "Oh, it's you, Donald. Congratulations onyour promotion to Lord of the Sacred Palace.”

Although Theodore and Donald were old acquaintances, they were not close.

"Come in, please.

Darren, I am thrilled to see that you have returned safe and sound. Follow me,"

Lord Donald greeted Darren with a smile. Darren nodded before walking toward the palace.

In the middle of the palace stood a large table filled with all kinds of delicious dishes and wine."Come here, everyone. Please have a seat. Let's welcome Darren and Theodore,”

Lord Donald said warmly as he motioned to everyone to sit down.

During the dinner, Lord Donald mainly spoke with Theodore about what had happened to him andwhat had he suffered. He was terribly upset by the stories that Theodore shared.

Darren toasted to Lord Donald and then chatted with him for a long time. Most of the time, Darrenshared anecdotes about what had happened in the number nine Badlands.

Everyone became interested when Darren talked about the mysterious elderly man.

"Have you met that elderly man?"

The Sacred Palace had detected the breach in the forbidden zone in the number nine Badlands. But,they had only captured an illusion, not the real appearance of the elderly man.

"Yes, a long time ago. Some clay figurines chased and captured me. When they placed me in adomain that looked like a starry sky, I found that the elderly man was their prisoner as well..."Darren recalled the day he had met the elderly man for the first time.

Everyone became very serious when they heard the story.

"Darren, you are lucky to have escaped from the creatures of the Death Palace. You must be carefulnot to be discovered by them in the future. Otherwise, even we won't be able to save you.

Then again, according to your description, that elderly man is very powerful. He might be from oneof the Aborigines Worlds," Lord Donald deducted.

When he heard what Lord Donald had said, Darren realized that the clay figurines were from a placecalled the Death Palace. But he didn't understand what the Aborigines Worlds were.

"My Lord, is the Death Palace as powerful as you say? And what is the Aborigines World?" Darrenvoiced his doubts.

However, before Lord Donald could answer Darren's question, Theodore, who was sitting next tohim, interjected.

"As far as I know, there has been no such powerful man in the Aborigines Worlds. He was probablyfrom..." Theodore pointed at the ceiling as he spoke. What he meant was obvious—that the elderlyman had come from outer space.

"Theodore, you might be right,” Lord Donald nodded.

"As for the Death Palace, I don't know much about it either. Its whereabouts are a mystery.

I will now ask Auberon to explain to Darren in detail about the Aborigines Worlds," Lord Donaldsaid.

Just as Auberon was about to stand up and explain about the Aborigines Worlds, several figuresbarged into the palace.

Three people stood at the entrance. In a flash, one person flew forward.

"How dare you?"

"That's right. We aren't here to waste your time. We came here to take Darren and Theodore. Iwonder if you will agree or not."

"Bullshit! You can't simply take people from the Sacred Palace at whim,” Ramon cried out. All of asudden, the atmosphere in the palace tensed.

At this point, Darren was confused.

He didn't know who these people were, nor did he understand why they asked for him andTheodore.

Lord Donald gestured with his hand at Ramon to calm down. Then he asked, "Why do the threegreat clans want these two men?"
