"What is an expeditionary force?" Elsa had never heard of it.

"It's the army organized by the human race to attack the creatures in the Aborigines Worlds,"Darren explained.

"Aborigines Worlds?"

"Yes. The small continents around Lothlann Continent are called the Aborigines Worlds. I'll explain itto you on our way to the Sacred Palace.”

"Okay." Elsa nodded before leaping into the air to follow Darren.

On their way, Elsa understood everything that Darren explained to her.

"Darren, don't you think it is too cruel for us to attack creatures in the Aborigines Worlds? They arealso living creatures, even though their intelligence and strength are not on par with humanmasters. Should they be slaughtered because of this?"

Elsa felt sympathy for the creatures in those Aborigines Worlds.

"Don't worry, Elsa. We will just join the expeditionary force. We will not be participating in theslaughter.”

"Ha-ha, that's good. Thank you, Darren,” Elsa said with a smile.

After flying for tens of thousands of kilometers, Darren and Elsa reached a deserted mountain.However, as soon as they neared, they sensed a strong aura and intense strength.

Darren used his spiritual sense to probe the surroundings.

Elsa dashed toward him before Darren could do anything.

The creature in the beast hide roared and glared at Elsa with bloodthirsty eyes.

He swung his stone spear and charged at Elsa's sword intent in all directions.

"What?" Darren frowned. "He can resist Elsa's sword intent just by using his physical strength. Thiscreature is very strong.”

But in the next moment, Darren saw that he was wrong. After charging forward briefly, the creaturecould no longer continue. The immense pressure exerted by Elsa's sword intent suppressed thebeast to the point where he fell from midair.

The man in the beast hide glared at Elsa, but he did not respond.

The man whom the creature had been attacking before Darren and Elsa's arrival also flew downtoward them.

"Thank you, guys! Don't worry. I will deal with this savage. You can go now," the man said to Darrenand Elsa, but there was no gratitude in his eyes.

"Who are you? Why was he chasing you?" Darren asked in a calm voice.

"It's none of your business. So don't ask. As for the fact that you captured the savage, I will apply forten magic herbs as a reward for you. Is that enough?” To Darren's great surprise, this man appearedarrogant.

Darren and Elsa were very uncomfortable with the man’s tone and attitude.

"Fuck off,” Darren roared as anger coursed through him.

That man was stunned for a moment. But then, his expression turned fierce. "Boy, how you dare totell me to fuck off? Who are you? How dare you offend someone from the Cross ExpeditionaryForce? Are you tired of living? Give me the savage quickly. I'm going to open his belly.”

From the man’s threats, Darren gathered that he was a member of the three great clans’ CrossExpeditionary Force. So where did this creature in the beast hide and cat-like face come from?Bang!

Darren slapped the man hard enough to make him roll over. Then he shouted, "Get down on yourknees!"

With a last glance at the man kneeling on the ground, Darren turned to study the man in the beasthide.

The creature's chest heaved violently, and hatred shone in his red-rimmed eyes. But deep beneath,Darren noticed the fear.

"Don't be afraid. Tell me where you come from," Darren asked with a calm voice.

The man in the beast hide did not respond. Instead, he bared his teeth and looked ferocious."Darren, I don't think he can understand us."

"Okay, then I'll try with my Spirit Power."

Darren's Spirit Power entered the soul of the man in the beast hide.

"Woo, woo, woo, woo."

As his soul had been invaded, the man in the beast hide felt a tremendous amount of agony coursethrough him. He rolled on the ground as he howled.

But after a few seconds, the pain vanished.

"Where are you from?" Darren asked the question through his soul. With his Spirit Power, he hadalready grasped the characteristics of the man’s language.

"Kill... Kill the devils,” the man in the beast hide roared. Although surprised, Darren knew what hemeant.

"Nate, don't be afraid. I'm not like other human beings. I won't hurt you at all.” When Darren's SpiritPower entered the creature's soul, he learned not only the language characteristics of the man inthe beast hide but also his name.

"Human, you, you know my name?

Are you a God?" The hatred in Nate's eyes lessened significantly.

"I am not a God. Can you tell me why you slaughtered these humans?" Darren asked Nate.

"Ha-ha, you are accusing me of slaughtering humans?" Nate grinned as he retorted. However,Darren could see the anguish that had filled the creature's soul at that moment.

"You human beings came to our fertile soil and killed all of our clansmen. As the “God of War’ of myclan, I was forced to watch human beings peel the skin off my clansmen. How could you say that Iam the beast?

These devils ate my wife's heart! Can't I kill them after what they have done to my clan? You,humans, are devils who like to invade and slaughter other races!"

Nate was very excited as well as in tremendous pain.

Darren repeated his explanation to Elsa, whose expression conveyed the horror coursing throughher. She almost cried!

"I'm sorry, Nate. I shouldn't have hurt you. I'm really sorry," Elsa asked Darren to apologize to Nateon her behalf through his soul.

When Nate heard her apology, he could hardly believe that humans were capable of such feelings.At this moment, he believed that these two humans were genuinely different from the others. Hecould not feel any enmity emanating from them.

"Can you let me go now? I want to return to my clan to bury the bones of my clansmen. I can giveeverything precious in our world as long as you let me go." Aware that these two people were notlike the others, Nate felt the hope of survival blossom in him.
