Talented Martial Hero -
Chapter 742 The Arrival (Part Two)
"These purple-crystal armors are so hard that even I can't break through.” Darren felt a mixture ofpressure and annoyance rooting from their current problem and tugging at the back of his head likea child pulling on someone's long hair. With the full protection from the purple-crystal armors, itseemed hard for him to even try and kill his opponents.
Noting the failure of his previous attacks, Elsa dashed towards one of the green-skinned man.
Upon unfurling her sword wings, she released countless of sword feathers and charged towards thatman. Before long, the green-skinned man had completely been drowned by the rain of swordfeathers and could no longer be seen, the relentless attacks making the images of him vague andblurry.
However, to their utmost disappointment, the strike of the sword feathers did no harm to the man.By the time the swords were retreated, they found that the man remained unscathed and stoodthere smugly. Elsa stood a good distant in front of him, a pout on her face when all her efforts werefor naught.
This repeated as the green-skinned men were beaten off and then flew back for countless of timesuntil Darren realized that using their skill against them was of no use.
"Elsa, put away your sword intent. Let's attack them with our physical strength this time."
After the battle had lasted for a while, Darren stopped all his attacking means and advised Elsa todo the same as him.
"Why is that? My sword intent can't even shatter their armor. How can I be certain that I can breakthrough just with my bare strength?" Elsa asked in confusion.
"We will know it for sure after we have given it a shot. Trust me!" With a confident smile, Darrenpointed at one of the green-skinned men and said, "Let's choose that man as our first target. You goattack him from his back and I will attack from his front.”
"Understood. I hope your instinct is right,” Elsa said and smiled back.
Then they disappeared from sight and when they reappeared once again, they were alreadystanding at the either side of the green-skinned man they chose prior to this.
Bang! Bang!
Simultaneously, before the green-skinned man could even realize what had come upon him, Darrenand Elsa had already carried out many blows from his both sides.
"Ha-ha, now I get it!"
Seeing the green-skinned man fall from the sky, Elsa laughed happily and said, "By attacking himwith our fists, his purple-crystal armor would serve as a transmitter and transmit our force to him.We punched him from the opposing directions, so I'm afraid that the contradictive force must havesmashed him."
"That's right.” Darren nodded and winked at Elsa.
So using the same method, they continued on attacking the remaining green-skinned men.
One after another, they fell and vanished from their sight.
Boom!
However, their fight was far from over. After all of those green-skinned men in the purple-crystalarmor had been killed, another man showed up. They found the man thin and slender, with thesame green skin wrapped in the same purple-crystal armor and in his hand, was a much shinierpurple-crystal sword.
Darren and Elsa frowned. They both had a feeling that this thin green-skinned man was notsomeone ordinary like the ones they fought earlier.
After staring at Darren for a moment, the slender man rushed towards Darren akin to a howlingwind.
His movements were swift and resolute without any hint of hesitation. Aiming straight at Darren'sthroat, the man pressed on with a speed that no one could catch a clear glimpse of his movements.Darren panicked, for he knew that he had no time to dodge the upcoming blow.
"This green-skinned man’s blow is actually comparable to that of the inferior holy warrior when hisHoly Will is not in currently use,” Darren concluded in surprise.
Having this mighty man as his opponent, Darren felt that their journey in this land would be a verytough one, not to mention this guy was also wearing the same hard purple-crystal armor thatDarren would very likely have no way to hit by getting close to him.
It was not until then that Darren realized he had underestimated the green-skinned men. How couldit be possible that there were no super powerful warriors on such a big continent? The green-skinned men were not some ordinary race. They were notorious for robbing and plundering smallerraces.
At this critical moment of life and death, Darren drew out both his sword and blade and wavedthem towards the green-skinned man. The man retreated a little, and grabbing this moment, Darrenmoved aside and dodged the blow.
"Darren, let's attack him the same way we used on those men,”
Elsa said and flew off towards the man, leaving Darren no time to stop her.
Elsa did not fully get the current situation. The strength of those green-skinned men they killedwere far weaker than them, and that was why they could attack them without much difficulty.
But this one, this green-skinned man was almost on par with Darren in strength. It was impossiblefor them to launch an attack from both sides.
Or even if they had somehow succeeded to get close to him and had hit him, their strike might stillnot be able to harm his body under the purple-crystal armor.
The thin green-skinned man's eyes flashed with a strange light as he looked at Elsa.
Bang!
Reaching the man, Elsa thrust her fist upon his chest. However, to her great astonishment and fear, she lurched forward and nearly fell.
She missed, as before her fist could even reach the green-skinned man, the man had alreadydisappeared.
A sudden fear and panic fell over Elsa. For a moment, she stood in shock, unable to make out whather next move should be. After a few seconds, when the green-skinned man showed up again, hehad already moved behind Elsa and his purple-crystal sword was an inch from Elsa's back.
The aliens hiding in the ship below stood petrified as they witnessed this scene.
Never in all their years of trust would they expect that among all the green-skinned men, thereexisted a man who could contend against their king whom they had always respected.
