Chandler went up respectfully and asked, "You also know about Barnes, young friend?"

Finley gave him a small smile and replied, "I have beaten that filthy monkey more times than I cancount. He knows what we can do to him. How dare he cause trouble again?"

"Ahem." Luther let out a small cough. "As much as I hate to break up your little game, we have morepressing issues to address. We need to head to the forbidden area. The sooner we fix everything thebetter."

The Water Kylin relaxed his shoulders.

"You got off lightly this time, punk. Next time, it won't be so easy.” The Water Kylin chuckled. Finleyrolled his eyes at him.

"You guys wait here. I'll take care of that bastard Barnes first.”

The Water Kylin stomped off to the forbidden area.

The senior holy warriors looked on in awe.

"I did not expect Darren to have friends as powerful as these..."

"Exactly. So why are you so worried?"

"Ah, well..." The monkey gave a deep sigh. He began to say something but stopped.

Boom!

Suddenly, the earth trembled. Bursts of light and streams of fiendish aura swirled around theforbidden area. A guttural roar rang out, hurting the ears of the warriors that were there.

"Argh!" one of the senior holy warriors gasped. He covered his ears with his hands.

Finley stared at the scene. A moment later, he grinned.

"Ha! The dead dog is indeed much stronger. It's a good thing we did not fight, or else he wouldhave beaten me."

Back at the forbidden area, the Water Kylin was putting on a show.

Gold and red lights danced around his body. His aura made anyone who stood near him tremblewith despair.

He raised his claws and deflected the attacks that Barnes threw at him. Blue lightning and flamesburst out, breaking one after another stick shadow.

The fiend's arm grew angry. He did not appreciate his plans being thwarted.

The Water Kylin was forced to retreat after the collision.

"Damned monkey! How did he get so strong? It's almost close to the holy emperor level!" TheWater Kylin looked at him incredulously.

The fiend's arm released more fiendish aura and it enveloped Barnes's body like a thick fog.

Barnes roared as power surged through his body. Suddenly, the sky split open and a red vortexappeared.

The vortex loomed in the sky, dark and terrifying, threatening to wipe out everything that ittouched.
