Darren was already getting desperate. Any time now, he would be forced to use his Bloody ShuraForce.

"Have you already forgotten your promise?" the dragon ancestor asked.

"Shit! At the crucial moment of life and death, if I only use sword skills, I will die!" Darren repliedhastily.

A million shadow spears surrounded Darren. They all came out from Hudson's palm.

Fissures erupted on the ground while smoke rose ominously from it. From Hudson's palm alone, thestrength of a five-tribulation junior holy warrior had been emitted.

Generally, a top-level, four-tribulation junior holy warrior would be able to stand a chance against acommon senior holy warrior. But Hudson was stronger. "Darren!" Chaz shouted. He had watched Darren get hit by the strong attack. The force of it shouldbe enough to kill even him in normal circumstances. He could just imagine how it would affectDarren.

His anger fueled him to raise his halberd and rush towards the brawny man.

"Humph! You're just a four-tribulation junior holy warrior. I can cut you to pieces.”

Hudson merely snorted and unleashed his spear shadows at Chaz. They enveloped Chaz completely.Chaz struck his halberd with all his might. Thunderbolts burst out of its blades as it clashed with thespear shadows.

Each time the blades crossed, it produced loud explosions.

Beams of light scattered from all directions. In just a blink of an eye, Chaz's lightning was smashedinto pieces and the shadow spears pierced through his body. His body was riddled with holes, buthis heart remained unharmed after the onslaught.

He collapsed on the ground as blood pooled around him. The first blow had almost killed him. Thisjust proved that he was no match to Hudson at all.

As Hudson was about to deal the finishing blow on Chaz, a shadow flashed by.

And then it quickly disappeared along with Chaz.

"What is it?"

Hudson didn't even recognize the figure.

Meanwhile, Laura was also at a sorry state. She felt so weak that her knees threatened to buckleunder her weight, and her clothes were so torn that it barely covered her modesty.

Upon seeing her near naked form, the young men from the Deer City and the Moonlight Citycouldn't hide their excitement.

"It seems like we have good harvest today. Even though you're a bitch, you still are a stunningbeauty." The young man from the Moonlight City licked his lips lewdly. His eyes greedily ate up thesight of Laura's exposed thighs and abdomen.

"You son of a bitch!" Laura shouted angrily. Shame crept up to her neck, making it flush under theirscrutiny.

"Indeed, Laura is the most beautiful woman in the eighteen cities. No one has seen such beautybefore.”

With their combined strength, the two men successfully overpowered Laura.

Even though Laura had used up all her strength, her struggles were in vain. There was no morepower left in her to fight them off.

"Mysterious Cloud Chain.”

A thick, cloud-like thing appeared and it wrapped itself around Laura. It was like a chain that kepther tied down.

"Ah!" Laura screamed, struggling frantically against her restraints. But the binds were preventing herfrom moving at all.

"Come now, Laura. You should feel honored that we're going to search your body. You don't needto resist.” Mr. Xue from the Deer City leered at her. His tone was playful.

On the other hand, the other man from the Moonlight City was getting impatient. Withoutpreamble, he grabbed Laura's enticing body.

Suddenly, a figure popped out of nowhere.

It passed by Laura, and the next thing, she was gone before their very eyes.

"What?"

The two looked at each other in surprise. Their minds couldn't quite process what had justtranspired. Everything happened so fast, and the figure had left no trace behind.

"Was it the golden crow?" they wondered.

The only creature they knew that was fast enough to disappear like that was the golden crow.

But then again, how did it manage to save Laura?

Things in the stone forest had finally calmed down. The battle had obviously left its mark in the area.The air was filled with smoke, and everything was destroyed.

"Where did they go?"

"I don't know, but three of them had managed to escape.”

A moment later, there was something strange in the air and the people from the four cities sensedit

"Damn the rest! Just kill them all.” Hudson was livid. His chest heaved and his breath came out inburst. He had the urge to kill all the disciples of the Holy City present.

"No!" the thin man from the Ghost City disagreed.

"Why?"

"Are you that stupid? Three of them were able to escape because some powerful warriors helpedthem. How else could they get away? In fact, it might even be someone powerful from the Holy City.If we kill them all, we'll be declaring war on them. And I don't think we can survive if a war everbreaks out between us.

Damn it. How could I be so kind to remind you idiots?" the thin man said.

Hudson seemed to ponder on this for a moment before saying, "If the two most powerful warriorsof the Holy City did come here, why would they sneak in just to save three people when they couldhave simply fought against us? It doesn't make sense.”

"Well... What you said does make sense.” The thin man frowned, confused by Hudson's line ofthought.

This further enraged the two young men from the Deer City and Moonlight City. Their frustration onmissing the opportunity to touch Laura's body made them want to vent out their anger. They wereantsy and uncomfortable the whole time.

"I'll replace that bitch and fuck her!" the man from the Moonlight City roared.

"Take your time then. We will go," the thin man said. He looked down on the man from theMoonlight City. He found it laughable that this man was so obsessed with a woman when theyshould be focusing their energy on replaceing the golden crow.

The people from the Ghost City began their search among the remaining disciples of the Holy City,but they saw no traces of the golden crow's fragment.

Hudson searched the other half, but he also didn't replace it. In the end, Hudson was so frustrated thathe killed a disciple of the Holy City. The rest, they took as prisoners.

On other hand, the two young men were too stuck in their own thoughts of Laura and the salaciousthings they would do to her body. Both of them were determined to hunt her down.

"Darren, you saved me."

Thoughts of suicide had filled Laura's head back when she thought there was no hope for herescape. By the time it stopped, she found herself nestled in Darren's arms. A feeling of warmth engulfed her,making her heart throb with life.

"Darren, what's going on? How are you moving so fast?" Chaz asked in surprise.

Darren didn't answer any of their questions at first. He simply took a robe out from his Space Ringand handed it to Laura. "Laura, can you please change into it for the time being?"
