The Governors’ eyes widened with shock. They were so terrified that their hair stood on end.

"Who are you?"

Fear coursed through them as they all felt the shadow's strong power.

"Don’t get excited. I'm only here to help you solve your problem."

The shadow continued to walk forward as he spoke. As soon as he stepped into the light, they sawthat the shadow was a monkey with black hair and sharp teeth.

"Who the hell are you?"

The Governors didn't recognize that he was Barnes.

Barnes sneered but did not answer. He swung the golden stick up on his shoulder and roared.

The intensity of his roar shook the hall to such an extent that it was on the verge of collapsing. Eventhe Governors felt dizzy.

"You! You are Barnes the Holy? Aren't you?"

The Governors had heard that the one who had helped the fiend escape was Barnes the Holy, apowerful warrior millions of years ago.

Now that they could sense his power, the Governors could guess that he was Barnes.

"Yes. It's me." Barnes smiled wryly. Everyone shuddered as his grin was full of darkness.

"Ah!"

They stepped back.

"You have committed such a huge sin! How dare you come to the eighteen cities?" somebodyshouted.

"Barnes, we respect you since you are so much older than us. For now, we will let you go. If youchoose to stay, we will not be polite to you,” someone said even though his heart trembled withfear.

It didn't matter how powerful or intense the aura released by Barnes. Just the mere mention of hisname was enough to frighten everyone.

"It is my humble opinion that you are too weak. I didn't come here to make trouble for you, but toask you to work with me to kill the fiend. I seek the opportunity to make amends. Do you agree?"Barnes said sincerely.

The Governors glanced at each other in dismay.

"You should replace the four greatest holy warriors. You can suppress the fiend more easily with theirhelp. Why did you come to us?" someone asked.

"Eden, you said that you sensed the fiend's aura. Are you sure?" another warrior asked with a frown."Yes, I'm certain. He was in the hall a short while ago,” Eden replied. He was also known as the TigerHoly Warrior.

"This is not good.”

In a flash, the four greatest holy warriors flew away.
