As I kept taking the stairs, a maid came rushing towards us,

"Lady Scarlett, a few letters just arrived for Alpha Dexter. Here they are." She was about to hand Scarlett the letters when I stopped her,

"Hand them over to me," I muttered and they both cocked their heads toward me

Scarlett might have been the one always receiving Dexter’s letters in the past when he was away, but I was his wife and Luna now and things should change,

The maid nodded her hand after remaining silent for about a few seconds and began approaching me inside,

"Here they are, Luna." She muttered and handed them to me,

I cocked my head towards Scarlett to see the scornful look she gave to me. Her fingers were clenched, and I watched part of the veins around her forehead remain visible,

"Henceforth, the Alpha’s letters should be sent to me instead," I instructed the main, and as soon as she nodded her head, she turned around and walked away.

I took another step, heading downstairs when I heard a loud scoff from Scarlett,

"You might really think you won, Amelia, but trust me, I’m not giving up on Dexter anytime soon. I’ll get him back, even if I have to reveal to the world what a bitch you are." She threatened and dashed away always immediately.
