AMELIA:

"And what a lovely lady you have by your side. It’s such a pleasure to meet you." He uttered, outstretching his hand towards towards for a handshake and I took it with a smile on my face,

"Thank you. The pleasure is all mine." I responded and swallowed a lump of saliva. Clara really couldn’t be here,

I stared at Dexter, "Excuse me please, I have to make an urgent call." I muttered and just when he nodded his head, letting go of my arm, Alpha Bryan spoke,

"What about your sister, Alpha? Would she be present at the party as well?" He questioned and I instantly froze.

"Clara? Yes, she would be here soon enough. How did you know my sister?" "Let’s just say she’s one of a kind. We met a few days ago and she was indeed lovely." He responded with a chuckle, but Dexter didn’t laugh back at his jokes.

"If you don’t mind, we have to go in now." He uttered and took my hand again. As we both walked into the hall, I took a second to stare back at Alpha Bryan and I saw a smile on his face. It might be too late to tell Clara not to come to the party anymore but at least I could warn her about him on time when she gets here,
