The Accidental Wife (Emily and Julian) -
The Accidental 201
Chapter 201
“Hey bitch, wake up.” A harsh shove to my shoulder wakes me up from my sleep. I open my eyes and replace myself still in the trunk of the car. I don’t remember falling asleep. Did I pass out due to how scared I had been?
He yanks me out of the trunk, and I replace myself in a place I’m not familiar with at all. This neighbourhood looks shady. He closes the trunk and shoves ine towards a small brown house in front of me that is in terrible shape. “Walk,” he demands and I do so, because there’s nothing else I can do. “Look at the ground,” he gives me another order once I’m in front of the front
door.
up
He knocks on the door and when I lift my head, he slaps me on the back. When the door opens, I try to look without lifting my head. A cackle hits my ears and I know that I’m standing in front of Everest.
“Well, well, well. If it isn’t the mighty Rosie, but she doesn’t look so mighty now.” I look up at him and I replace him smirking at me, but it isn’t the only thing on his face. I can see hatred in his eyes.
“Brought her to you just like you asked. Bound and silenced,” the bald guy says and I talk a shaky breath.
“Walk inside, bitch,” Everest says and when I refuse to do so, the man behind me shoves me harshly that I stumble, but Everest catches me. I try to get out of his grip, but he’s a lot stronger. “Don’t bother, Rosie. You better give in because from this day on, you’re going to be my little toy. I’m going to control every aspect of your life to the point that you’ll have no life. You destroyed my future and now, I’m going to own you for the rest of my life.”
His words instill fear in me and no matter how hard I squirm, he doesn’t let me go. He laughs as I struggle against him and in the end, I give in when I realize that my strength is nothing against his.
“Good girl. Know how little you are,” he says before letting me go. “I’m going to take you to see the girls now.”
With his hand around my arm, he drags me to a door. He unlocks the door and walks inside with me behind him.
My eyes go wide when I see Lily and Aniyah. They’re both sitting, bound just like me. I try to say something, but he motions for me to stop talking and I do, because I’m worried about my sisters.
“As I told you, take the two girls and leave them in an abandoned place that they can’t recognize. Put them in the trunk of the car so they don’t know their way around,” he instructs his partner. At least the girls are going to be safe, but I have a feeling I’m not going to be as lucky as them.
I swallow my pride and look at him. I try to speak, but my voice is muffled, and I can tell that he’s enjoying that.
“Do you want to say something, Rosie?” He asks in a mocking tone, and I nod, begging him with my eyes. “But why should I give you this privilege? It’s something that you don’t deserve.”
Tears fall from my eyes, and I take the risk and try to move towards the girls, but he holds me back. They’re crying too and I hate that there’s nothing I can do to help them.
“Any movement here is by my permission,” he says, bringing his mouth to my ear as he wraps both of his arms around me to prevent me from moving. He takes me out of the room, and I thrash and fight against him, but I know that what I’m doing is useless.
His hand let go of my body and for a second, I think he’s going to let me move on my own; however, his harsh hand catches my hair, and I let out a muffled scream due to how painful his grip is.
He takes me to another room and locks the door behind us. I’m trembling in fear. I don’t know what he’s going to do to me, but I know that it won’t be good.
“Because of you, I don’t have a future. I will never have a good job, or a good life and you’ll pay for that for the rest of your life. Do you know why? Because after I’m done with you, I’m going to sell you, Rosie. Human trafficking is still a thing and it’s going to be your destiny.”

Chapter 201
My eyes go wide as his words sink in. I can’t believe what he’s going to do that to me. Is it possible? I know that human trafficking exists, but can it really be my destiny? My family will be fast enough to save me, right?

“I’m going to destroy you, Rosie.” He harshly slams my head against the wall and a muffled scream is the only sound I can make. He then proceeds to throw me on the ground with all the strength he has in his body, and I squeeze my eyes in agony. His foot connects with my stomach more than once, and I curl up in pain. He then forces me to lie on my back despite how hard it is since my hands are bound behind my back. Everest positions himself on top of me and lifts the upper part of my body by pulling me from my sweater.
I stare at him in fear, not knowing what his next move is going to be. His fist connects with my cheekbone, causing more tears to fall from my eyes. He hits me three more times and 1 lie helpless under him.
“I wish I can do more to you, but I can’t, because when I sell you need you to be in good shape to get a good sum out of you,” he spits as I heave. I’m starting to get dizzy and it’s getting harder to keep my eyes open.
He’s about to do something else to me, but something catches his attention, making him move away from me. I’m so cold and exhausted already. I just want to get out of here, but I can barely move.
Suddenly, Everest storms into the room and I flinch, not knowing what he’s going to do to me. He pulls me up by my hair and I wince. I can feel my body trembling, which is probably out of fear and coldness.
“Looks like your family moved fast, but they won’t get you out of here. If they’re going to get you back, they’re going to get your dead body,” he says with so much anger as he firmly holds my body.
As he pulls me out of the room, the police break in and Everest brings his gun to my temple, making me whimper.
“Let her go, Everest. There’s no way out!” a police officer orders him.
“If you come near me, she dies!” Everest fights back. I want to tell them to look for my sisters, but the duct tape is still on my mouth.
“Drop your weapon me and let her go, Everest! This is your final warning!” the police officer shoots him another warning.
“Looks like we’re going to die together, Rosie.” He laughs manically and I just cry. This isn’t the person I want to die with. If I’m going to die, I want to be surrounded by my loved ones at least.
Suddenly, I hear another door breaking and I jump in my place even though Everest is firmly holding me. For a second, his grip on me loosens and I hear a lot of shouting before the sound of a gun rocks my body in terror and everything goes black.
