Chapter 100

ROSIE POV

It's been two weeks since I have been locked up in Evans room. At first it wasn't so bad because I was taken care of and everything was still okay. But after ten days, I couldn't take it anymore. I felt so suffocated staying in one place. It felt like I was in a cage instead

of a room. The only people I get to see every day are Evans and Luna Isabella.

Luna Isabella made sure to bring food for me every time while Evans will come stay with me whenever his not so busy or when it's night. They both have done more than enough in keeping me company for the past days but yet it wasn't enough.

I wanted to leave this room. I'm tired of seeing it every time. It's like the only thing I get to see every seconds that pass. I need to go outside and breath in the fresh air. I need to feel the sun heat on my skin. I don't just want to see from the window. I want to feel the sand under my feet. I just want to go outside.

I talked about it to Evans last night but he stubbornly refused to listen to me which resulted to be quarrel between the both of us. This morning he left without waiting for me to wake up. I guess his still mad at me.

I sat on the bed not knowing what to do as I was so bored and also feeling so frustrated. Sun was asleep leaving me all by myself. At times she tries her best to keep me company by talking to me. She was also tired of staying locked up. She needed to shift and run around but sadly she also couldn't get out of her cause she's stuck with me.

I let out the one hundredth sigh. I stood up from the bed and walked round the room. I didn't know what to do to keep myself busy. I looked at the shelves where the books are. I walked to it and began to check if I can replace something interesting but nope non of them either I have read them already or they were not to my taste.

I stood up again and walked to the window. I began to admire the sun through the closed glass window. I couldn't open the window too because it was for safety precautions that it must be locked also. I kept looking at the sky when I heard the door being opened. I excitedly turned knowing so well who it was and finally relieved that I now have someone I could talk to.

The door opened and in my guest entered.

"Hello Rosie good morning to you my dear." Luna Isabella said smiling.

"Morning Luna Isabella." I returned her greetings.

"Hope you slept well?" she asked as she laid the tray she entered with on a small table before she said on the bed.

"Well I just slept I'm not sure if I slept well or not." I answered her as I walked to her and sat beside her. I opened the plates and was happy to see she brought toast and fried egg with a cup of tea.

"Thank you Luna for the food." I thanked her.

"Your welcome dear. Now tell me what happened last night that you didn't sleep so well?" she asked.

She was curious about almost every thing. If I don't tell her, she won't let me be until I do.

"Actually Evans and I had a little quarrel that is one of the reasons I didn't sleep well." I answered her.

"If I may ask, what did both of you quarrel about?"

"Well I brought up the topic of when I get to go outside because truth be told Luna I'm getting so fed up and frustrated of staying in here for days." I replied.

"I understand my dear. Trust me I really do but it's not our fault to imprison you like this. We are only doing this for your safety and nothing much. Please try to understand. I must say you have been doing a great job in keeping it in all this while but please continue to endure it although I know it's not easy. Also forgive Evans and don't be angry with him. He is really trying his possible best to make sure when you get out of here, you are safe and no one will harm you. Believe me he s really working so hard to catch the enemy." she said as she rubbed my back.

I had nothing to say to her because I knew that was the only advice she could give me so I nodded and drank my tea.

"That reminds me, I will be going to the mall to pick somethings. Do you need me to get you anything?" she asked.

I shaked my head.

"No Luna I don't need anything." 'The only thing I need is to get out of here.' I definitely said the last part in my head.

"Alright then eat up so I can leave with your plates."

I ate and listened to her talk about how she made some donuts for the kids in the orphanage and how she planned on giving them before heading to the mall.

Suddenly I began to miss the kids most especially Harris and Emma. I felt sad just thinking about how busy I had been that I didn't go to see them. I wanted to play with them again. I wanted to replace out how they were doing. I wanted to go outside. "Please Luna send my regards to Emma and Harris for me. Including all the kids at the orphanage." I said to her.

"Not a problem my dear. I will do that when I get there." she replied.

I was done with breakfast. Sadly it means she was going to leave me all alone again. With sadness in my heart and eyes, I bid her goodbye as she stood up and left the room carrying the empty plates and cup together with her. When the door locked from outside, my heart fell. I didn't want to be alone.

I laid on the bed as I kept staring at the celling. I need to do something to cure my boredom.

My phone began to ring startling me. I picked it up and smiled when I saw who was calling me. My best friends sure knew just when to call me. It's always when I needed them the most.

I picked up and their both faces popped up in my screen.

"ROSIE HOW ARE YOU DOING? I HOPE YOUR STILL ALIVE? LET ME SEE YOUR FACE. WHY HAVE YOU LOST SO MUCH WEIGHT? YOU LOOK SO TIRED ALREADY AND IT'S STILL MORNING? TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON?"

Angel shouted.

"Hey Angel I hope you are aware that I can still hear you when your voice is down so please you don't need to shout okay." I said to her as I tried to hide a smile.

"Oops I'm sorry. Was I that loud?" she asked sheepishly.

"Yes you were. You almost hurt my eardrums as you forgot I was standing right next to you. Next time if you want to shout can you please let me know so I can give you some space to do that? Thank you." Maria said rolling her eyes.

I laughed as I watched the both of them. Although we talked everyday, I still miss them so much.

"Well don't blame me okay. I missed Rosie so much and couldn't control myself from shouting." Angel tried to defend herself.

"I know but don't shout next time. Anyways Rosie sorry about that. Tell me how are you doing?" Maria asked giving me a smile.

"You can guess how I am doing." I said to her.

"You really don't look so good not lying to you. You look so tired that I would think maybe you didn't have any sleep last night." Angel spoke this time.

"I'm just tired of staying here. It's suffocating me. I need to go out." I whined.

"Do you need us to get you out of there? I mean Maria and I can come up with a plan to break you out of there." Angel said grinning.

"Angel can you please speak for yourself because I don't remember telling you I'm going to break Rosie out of there with you. Sorry Rosie don't be offended and don't think I'm a bad person but there is no way I'm going to join Angel to carry out her plans. Do you see the big hefty men who are guarding your room and the house? I'm sorry but I can't maybe Angel is strong enough to do it herself." Maria said quickly making me to laugh at her.

"Well if you are not going then I'm also not going. If both of us go together we will hardly be caught but it it's just me, I will be caught in less than two seconds. Don't worry Rosie we will think of another way to get you out of there so don't you worry just keep staying strong okay?" Angel said.

I smiled as I looked at her. Talking to this two girls makes me forget all my problems. They try to always cheer me up when they knew I was down.

"Alright will be waiting." I answered them.

"What about your mates, Nate and Smith?" I asked.

"Oh you know they are with Evans. Instead of them to rest since it's weekend, they are working. Although I won't complain much because they are all working hard in order to replace who is behind all these attacks so you can be safe and protected." Angel answered. "I really hope they caught whoever it is so we can see you again Rosie. Angel and I are hanging out without you. The fun is so not complete. You need to be here too. How we wish we can enter and see you even if it's for a short while." Maria said.

I gave them a sad smile. We talked about random things. They made me laugh and happy that I forgot about my frustration for a while. Sadly our call had to come to an end. Now I'm left alone once again. Sun was still asleep. I needed someone to talk to. I was debating whether to wake her up or not. Just as I was about to wake her up, the door was unlocked.

I knew it was Evans coming since Luna Isabella said she was going out. I didn't turn to look at him because I was still angry with him for leaving without waiting for me to wake up.

"AREN'T YOU GOING TO COME HUG US OR SHOULD WE RETURN BACK TO OUR HOUSE?"

I quickly turned to see Angel and Maria standing at the door smiling at me.

How did they get in here?

Did they really break in?
