PARKER

POV

Is that really Tina or I'm hallucinating? I must be hallucinating because there's no way she will be here.

The person who looked like Tina walked to me. She stood in front of me and looked at me and then looked at Mira. "Who is she?" she asked looking at Mira again.

"I should be asking you that question. Who are you and why do you look like my mate?" I asked her.

"I see you are still dumb." she said rolling her eyes at me.

"How dare you insult me?" I said angrily.

"I didn't insult you dummy. I only stated a fact that you are dumb because that's what you really are." she said.

Apart from her looks, she sounds just like Tina. Infact the way she's talking back at me is just like Tina. She is really the one?

"Wait a second, Tina is that really you?" I asked to confirm.

"Who else with it be if not me you dummy. Of course it's me Parker." she said calling my name.

She is really the one. I'm looking at my mate face to face. Shit I'm panicking inside. This isn't how I thought I will meet her. I have already planned everything in my head, how to react, what to say but now it's like as I'm staring at her, my mind is blank. I can't seems to think of anything right now. I must really be dumb as she has said.

"Now that you know it's me, can you answer my damn question already. Who is she?" she asked.

I turned to see Mira was still standing behind me looking at Tina.

"Oh she is my best friend Mira. Mira say hello to Tina the person I have been telling you about." I introduced the both of them.

"Nice to meet you Tina. I have heard so much about you from Parker here." Mira said smiling.

"Well I can't say the same as I have heard nothing about you. Tell me are you both just best friends or there's something more to it?" Tina ask.

"TINA WHY WILL YOU THINK SUCH A THING?" I asked in so much shock.

"What did I say wrong? It's just a simple harmless question that needs an answer. I saw how you stood up for her earlier. So I will like to know if you did that because she's only your best friend and not some lover who you are disguising as your best friend. Sorry if I sound rude but I just need to know." she answered.

"You don't need to apologize. I totally understand where you are coming from. It's actually weird to see your mate with some girl and then replace out that she's his girlfriend. I get. Even I will be suspicious if that happens to me. But really Tina you don't have to worry about Parker and I. As he has said, we are just best friends. Besides I have a mate who is better than him. Parker here is nothing like my spec.". Mira said smiling at her.

"Ouch Mira I'm here you know." I glared at her.

"Thank you for understanding me and explaining to me that you have a mate. It's relieving to know that nothing is going on between you both. And Parker what you did back then was awesome." Tina said looking at me with a sweet smile on her face. Oh how I miss her smile so much.

"What did I do?" I asked confused.

"I mean the way you defended her. It was really surprising because I have never seen you stand up for anyone not more of a woman. I'm happy to have witness it." she said.

I scratched my hair feeling shy because of her compliment.

'Get your act together Parker when did you start behaving like a girl?'

"What are you doing here if I may ask? I thought you will call me immediately you get here?" I asked her.

"I was about calling you when I arrived but then I thought to pick one or two because I can't come see you empty handed. So I asked for directions to this place and here I am. I'm also surprised to see you here." she said.

"You didn't have to buy anything Tina. You coming here is enough. But anyways are you done so we can leave. We have brought a lot of attention to ourselves already. I think it's time to leave already." I said looking around as I noticed some people where still standing and staring at us.

"I'm done. Let's get going." Tina said.

The three of us walked out of the shopping mall. I heard Mira let out a long sigh.

"I see you really wanted to leave that place fast." I said smiling at her.

"You bet. I was already getting suffocated back there. Next time I won't come here alone. I will definitely come with Landon. I can't stand what happened today happen again. Although I can't help but wonder what will happen to the crazy bitch who thinks she can take what's mine from me." she said expressing her anger in the last sentence.

"Calm down will you. It's over now. And for her, I'm guessing she will be sacked by the manager for not doing her job well and by harassing a customer." I said to her.

"It serves her right. At least when next I come here she won't be here to talk shit at me or to look at my mate. Anyways let me leave you both to have enough time to each other. And Tina it's really nice to see you. Please I know I shouldn't be meddling but if you can replace it in your heart to forgive Parker and accept him please do because for real he has changed and he loves you so much. I'm telling you incase he acts all shy and he miss his because you know his a dummy." Mira said smiling at Tina.

Tina laughed and nodded her head.

"You got the last part right. Anyways thanks Mira. I will love to see you again before I leave. How does that sound?" she asked Mira.

"It sounds perfect. You can get my number from Parker. I will be expecting your call whenever you are ready." Mira replied.

I stood in their middle just listening to them. It was like I was forgotten and they were not seeing me standing in front of them.

"I will do just that Mira. Thank you." Tina said smiling.

"Mira I am supposed to drop you at your house remember? I can't let you go home alone with all this groceries." I reminded Mira because it seems she has forgotten that I offered to drop her home earlier.

"Don't worry about me. I'm fine and I can handle them myself. You just go ahead with your mate. And don't fuck this up. Make sure you win her heart badly before she goes. She's a nice person and you both fit each other nicely." she whispered into my ear before smiling at Tina.

"Bye you both." she said before walking away with her hands full. I wanted to call her back but then knowing how stubborn Mira is, she won't let me still take her home.

I let out a sigh and turned to me Tina who was still standing behind me.

"Lets go. I have to sneak you in my dorm but don't worry it won't be a problem. You can't just stay there for long. I don't know how we are going to do this." I informed Tina.

"Well we can book a hotel where I can spend some couple nights. It will be much more better and we can talk freely there without being scared of being caught." she suggested.

"You are right. Why didn't I think of that? That's a brilliant idea. Let's go so I can book a hotel room for you then I will rush to my dorm to prepare something for you to eat before I come back to you." I said to her.

She smiled and nodded. We walked to the car and I drove her to a hotel where I know has a good service. I paid for everything and took her to her room before leaving her to rush back to the dorm to cook. Justin entered when I was almost done.

"Woah this place smells so nice. I see you are busy. Are we having a feast or something?" he asked.

"There is no we in this food that I'm preparing. I'm cooking for someone who is not you. So you better go and look for what to eat because I'm not giving you any food not even a bite." I told him.

"Who is this person? Is he more special than me? I have been your friend for long and this how you betray me." he said frowning.

"Who said I'm cooking for a guy? I'm cooking for my mate so don't think too much." I told him.

He sat up fast and looked at me with disbelief on his face.

"Your mate? Parker what are you saying? What mate are you talking about? The mate I know you have, you rejected her so what mate are you talking about?" he asked.

"Well I'm talking about the same mate. Now let me concentrate here. Don't worry I will tell you everything. Just know that I might not sleep here tonight if things goes well between us." I said hoping that everything goes perfectly well between Tina and I. I finished cooking and packed the meals into lunch packs before heading back to the hotel.

We sat down and ate. I asked her questions about how she and her parents were doing back at home as we ate so it won't be too silent. She answered all my questions. And also asked about how I was copying in school and all.

After we were done eating, we sat down to talk.

"So Tina you said I should give you time think, is the time I gave you enough or you still want more?" I asked her.

"I have given it some thoughts even when you left earlier to go and cook. I have an answer for you." she said.

My heart began to beat. I was feeling so scared to hear her answer. What if she says she can't accept me? I don't know what to do. I can't do without her. Just seeing her right now makes me so happy and at peace. I can't imagine her gone. Please moon goddess let her accept me back. I will never treat her like that ever again. Please moon goddess. I thought.

"Did you hear what I just say?" I heard making me snap out of my thoughts.

"Sorry I didn't get you. Please can you come again sorry." I said.

"I said I Tina accept you Parker as my mate."
