EVANS POV

"You promised me the last time that I will go with you. There's no way I'm going to let you go without me today. So just accept it and let's move. The more you try to argue with me the more you waste time. Because we must go together." my stubborn mate said She is forgetting that I still have some stamina left to carry her and drop her on the bed before running off but I can't do that again because she will surely run after me and she might fall down.

I honestly didn't want to go with her. She can roam around the pack but there's one place I honestly don't want her to be. That's the prison cells. I don't want it to trigger past experience and also I don't want her to have nightmares by the things she's going to see in there. But she doesn't want to listen to me. She keeps insisting that she must go with me.

Today I want to go see Mira parents most especially the mother and her brothers whose sentence were less than her father's own. If her mother and brothers have changed and repented, I will release them today. But if I see no remorse from them, then they will stay there locked up.

Rosie wants to see them with her own eyes. According to her she wants to use her Luna instinct to be sure if they are really changed or not.

"But baby...."

"Don't baby me Evans. I know what you want to say and trust me I don't want to hear it at all. So tell me are you going to go with me or we sleep in the room and continue this tomorrow?" she asked looking so serious.

If I don't let her go, she will never let me leave the room. So it's better to just give up and go with her.

"Fine but promise me that you will stick by side and if you feel anything, even though it's little, whatever it is tell me. Okay?" I said.

"Now you are talking honey. I will tell you everything okay. So don't worry about me." she said finally smiling.

"So now you can finally call me honey. Wow just wow baby. The time you called me with my real name sounded so strange and scary. Please don't call me Evans again. I'm not comfortable with it." I told her.

"If that's what you want then always listen to me and agree to everything I say. Don't try to argue with me or else I will get angry and not know when I will call you by your name. Got it?" she said sounding like a boss. This woman.

"Yes ma'am. I get it. Now can you please move from the door with you small size body so we can go." I said.

"Of course." she said smiling as she opened the door and walked out. Finally I can leave the room. We were actually in that position for more than an hour.

We walked outside and saw Smith and Nate already waiting for us.

"Let me guess, you were defeated that's why she's coming with us." Smith said laughing as he saw Rosie standing with me.

"She just didn't let me move out of the room till I surrendered." I said letting out a sigh.

"Rosie are you sure you are going to be fine coming with us?" Nate asked sounding so calm as always.

"I will don't worry about me Nate. I'm stronger than you know. I can do it." she replied sounding so determined like she was going for a war or an exams.

I shaked my head and looked at my friend's.

"Shall we?"

"Of course we shall." Rosie answered and walked in front like she was the one who was directing us there.

"I love how excited she is right now. But I can't wait to see her expression when we get into the cell. I'm guessing she's going to freak out and run out." Smith said smiling.

"I can't say you are right about that because something is telling me you are wrong. With the way she looks so determined, I think she's going to be just fine." I said as I watched my mate walking in front of us. She didn't even care to turn to see if we were far behind or not.

"But is it safe for us to tell her about Mira's mother?" Nate asked.

"I honestly don't know. I am really confused right now. I don't know how she's going to react to the news. Maybe it's just best if she replaces out herself." I answered him.

We walked and finally got to the prison cells. Rosie was already waiting for us outside.

"Even a snail crawls faster than you both." she said rolling her eyes.

"That's because you want to be fast and we wanted to take our time and gossip." Smith said.

"What were you talking about?" she asked curiously.

"Its non of your business. We were just having our men conversation." Smith answered.

"You both should calm down. You can continue this later. We are here on a serious issue remember." I reminded them because if I leave them, they will argue for hours.

"That's true. Smith remember we aren't done. You must tell me what you were gossiping about later." Rosie said turning to Smith.

"It's not a must. I have my right and freedom to either tell you or not and if I refuse you have no right to force me." Smith said folding his arms together.

Rosie wanted to say something but she closed her mouth and let him be. But I know she was going to disturb Smith about it later.

We were greeted by the guards who were standing at the entrance. They looked at Rosie with a surprise look on their faces. They weren't expecting her. She smiled at them and praised them before we entered. I held her hand so she can stay next to me as we walked through the dark path. We kept on walking till we got to where the cells where. I led her to the cell that Charles and his family where in. I looked down at Rosie wondering if the strong smell was affecting her but to my surprise her face didn't show any discomfort.

A guard opened the cell and we entered. Charles and his family didn't look like before. They looked so lean and dirty. Sally looked worst as the is the only woman in their mist. She looked so pale and her lips were dark purple. Her eyes were red and her collar bones were all showing. She was really in a bad shape. I just hope she have changed so she can get out here today. Even I myself have a little compassion for her. I just hope she has the same compassion for herself.

Rosie let out a gasp when she saw Sally but she didn't say a single word. I was hoping she will ask what's wrong with her but she didn't.

"Now we here to see if you Sally and your sons have repented from your sins? Do you regret what you did to your daughter and sister?" Smith asked activating his Beta mode.

"Yes Alpha I regret what I did to my sister. Please forgive me. I beg you." the youngest said as he tried hard to kneel down.

One after the other, the second and first son began to beg me for forgiveness. They made tons of promises never to hurt anyone even a fly. They promised to be of good behaviour and to never do it again. I felt satisfied with their apologize. I looked at the main boss to see what she has to say about it. Her Luna instincts are more important here remember. So whatever she says I will go with it.

"Do you three realize what your parents turned you into! They are the ones who ruined your life and not us or your sister. So I will advice you to continue living your life's hating them for ruining your future and try to be better than them. Do not be like them. Learn from their mistakes." my amazing mate said. Her words really entered deeply. I just hope they listen to her and do as she says.

"Thank you Luna for your advice. We promise never to be like our parents. We will follow the right path from now hence forth." the eldest said for the three of them.

Rosie smiled at them.

"Good. Please you two take them out of here, get them warm water to bath and clean clothes to wear then tend for their wounds if they have any." she ordered the guards who were behind.

See what I'm saying, she is the boss and not me. She didn't even asked for a go ahead from me. She just did what she wants to do. My amazing Luna.

The guards came and took the boys away who kept on thanking her over and over again till they were gone. Now it's time for Sally.

"Sally now tell us do you regret hurting your daughter and joining your mate to treat her the way you did?" I asked her.

"I am a bad mother. I'm a very horrible mother. I don't think I will ever forgive myself for making such a decision to hurt my own daughter. I will die with the thoughts in my heart that I deserve all the punishment I'm getting right now for my choices." she said weakly. "You won't die now till you make it up to your daughter." Rosie said.

Sally let out a sad laugh making Rosie look confuse.

"You don't know what's going on right Luna? Well the thing is I'm drying already. I have just few days left or maybe hours." Sally said. Charles let out a weak whine but didn't say a single word. "WHAT!!!"

Rosie turned to me to see if it was a joke or not.

"What is she saying?" she asked me.

"The thing is Sally rejected Charles and because of the rejection she is slowing drying. Her wolf is going to be extinct soon so she will also die too." I explained to her.

"Please Alpha I have a request for you. Please I don't want to leave her. I want to dry in this cell where my mate can see with his very own eyes. Please my boys, help me take care of them. I beg for you to forgive them and please help me with them. I know it's too much but please I don't know who to beg. And please take care of Miranda. I know I don't deserve to call her my daughter but please take care of my daughter for me. Tell her I'm so sorry for being a bad mother. And tell her I love her please." Sally said very weak. "I need some air." Rosie said. Tears were already running down from her face.

"Let's get out of here." I said holding her.
