MIRA POV

"Hey Landon what happened to Calvin and Layla? Why did they leave like that?" I asked as he and Luca sat down.

"Well something happened but I'm sure they will be fine and will resolve whatever it is that is happening to them." he answered smiling.

"Are you sure they will be fine? Earlier I noticed that Layla was so quiet. Is she sick or something because it's unlike her. I was about to talk to her but now I can't cause she's gone. Tell me is something going on between the both of them." I asked him still pressing on the issue. He moved his head closer to mine and began to whisper into my ears.

"She didn't want anyone to know but you know I can't hide anything from you especially when you keep insisting I tell you what's the issue. Well actually she's just sad that she failed the examination to join the medical field that's all.

She didn't want to tell anyone till she saw her results only for her to replace out that she has failed. She is really feeling down about it. She also didn't want to tell Calvin but as she was telling both Luca and I, he overheard her and now his pissed that she didn't tell him."

"Ohhh...." that was the only word that could come out from my mouth.

"But why medical field? Why didn't she go for anything simple?" I asked wondering.

"Well she wanted to take us unaware that she can do something like that." he answered.

"For her to be all sad about the results I'm guessing she must really have interest in it. Oh poor Layla."

"I am also surprised myself that she is actually worried about the results. She is someone who doesn't bother about things that are not so important to her." he said.

"Well I hope she and Calvin resolve their issues because he really looked so angry to my greatest surprise. I have never seen him look like that." I said.

"They will be fine. I trust Calvin and I know he won't hurt my sister even though his upset. Besides I have ever seen him get angry. This is nothing to what I saw before. Let me just say it was bloody."

I let out a gasp as I heard this new information. Calvin didn't look like someone who could hurt a fly. I wonder what triggered his anger.

"His right Mira. What you saw today is the small compared to his real anger. I saw a beast in place of Calvin. Although Layla has never seen that other of him yet." Luca said.

I turned to see him and Grey already looking at both Landon and I. I guess they were listening after all so it's time to join them to our discussion.

"What happened? I want to hear the whole details." I said hoping they won't hide it from me too.

"When we were in high school, it was break time so Landon, Grey, Calvin, Layla, Chole and I went to the cafeteria. Calvin forgot something so he left to get it in class. We didn't wait for him so we began to eat without him. One of our class mates rushed into the cafeteria and ran to our table. He was smart to whisper to Don making to stand up quickly and rushed out. I wanted to know what was going on so I silently stood up and told Chole and Layla to eat with me before walking out with Grey following me behind. We went outside only to see a little crowd had gathered. We pushed into them to get a clearer view. I almost couldn't believe my eyes when I saw he singlehandedly beat five of our seniors. Their faces were all bloody that you could hardly recognize any of them. When we got to the scene he was still punching a guy who was already unconscious. We tried to stop him but he didn't listen to us. Landon had to use his alpha voice to order him to stop. That was when he stopped but he still looked like he wanted to beat them more." Luca said.

My eyes were wide opened as I heard the story. How was he able to beat five seniors alone? What made him so angry?

"But I will like to know what really made him get so angry like that?" I asked wondering.

This time it was Landon who spoke.

"We also asked him what happened but he refused to tell us anything. Our principal then decided to take the matter to the alpha that's our Dad since it was a serious matter as the four seniors were hospitalized. Dad, Mum, Uncle Smith Aunt Maria and Uncle Nate were all in the office when Luca, Calvin, Grey and I including our principal entered. Our principal then explained what happened to Dad. They were all surprised when they heard what Calvin did. Dad then asked him the reason he did it. That was when Calvin spoke. He said that he was on his way to class when he heard the five seniors making bets on who will date Layla and Chole then break up with them in an embarrassing way in school. He got angry that they were talking badly about his sister and Layla. Back then he didn't even know she was his mate. He saw red and began to punch them."

"Fucking bastards. I totally agree with the way he beat the hell out of them making them to end up in the hospital. They deserve it. How can they bet on breaking a girl's heart. That's sick. I support Calvin for what he did to them. But what did Dad do?" I asked. "What did you think Dad will do before? He heard that some jerks were planning to hurt his beloved princess, what did you expect will be his reaction?" Luca asked.

I began to laugh when I realized the turnout of the whole story. There's no way Dad will punish Calvin not after he saved Layla his daughter.

"Dad was so angry after hearing the whole thing. Mum had to try hard to calm him down because he was almost shifting and rushing to the hospital to have a talk to the boys and you should know the kind of talk we are referring to here. It wasn't going to be an easy one. Mum had to talk to him to relax and not go see the boys. But our principal was the one who took actions instead. I don't know what punishment was given to the boys but I didn't see them for three months. Dad thanked Calvin that day and even shook hands with him telling him how proud he was of him. That day he actually won dad's heart." Landon said.

I guess I know the only way to bring out the beast in Calvin. Try to harm his mate and his sisters."

"Don't forget his mother. Calvin loves his mother so much that it seems he loves her more than his father. You shouldn't dare try to hurt his mother in anyway or you see his other side too." Grey said.

"Am so amazed to hear all this about Calvin. I will be careful around him especially when I'm speaking so I won't be hospitalized for the words that came out of my mouth." I said making them to laugh at me.

"He will make a good beta. Dad said that. He even said that Calvin got his mother's soft side and also his father's hard side that's why his fit to be an alpha." Luca said.

"So till date Layla and Chole don't know anything about this?" I asked.

"Nope they both do not. Dad and our principal made sure to hide the whole story from the both of them so they won't worried."

"Dad did the right thing. I'm sure if they knew, they will both be hurt but oh well it's in the past. But I want to know, have you three ever gotten angry like Calvin?" I asked enjoying the conversation we were having.

"Hmm Luca has never been in any fight with anyone. He is the innocent one amongst us. Infact his to calm and reserved like mum." Landon said.

Grey all of a sudden began to laugh. We all looked at him wondering what was funny.

"Sorry I didn't mean to laugh so loud but I couldn't help it. Well you see, if you had said this thing before I was mated to Luca here, I would have agreed with you that yes surely he is so calm and reserved but you know something Landon, your brother is also a beast just like our friend Calvin." he said smiling.

"What do you mean by that? Who did he fight with?" Landon asked looking surprised.

"He beat up some guys from the street who talked badly at me. I wasn't expecting him to act like this but I was surprised when he told me to go to the car and he went after them. I was scared that they will beat him up since I have never seen him fight before but guess what? To my greatest surprise he came back unscratched like nothing happened." Grey answered.

I looked at Luca who looked like it wasn't him Grey was talking about.

"Bro I'm so proud of you. I'm glad to hear that you can defend yourself from any harm. This is an epic news. Thanks for sharing with us. Please be getting into trouble so he can continue fighting." Landon said smiling.

"Don why will you tell him that? Don't listen to him Grey. Don't get into any trouble please." Luca said glaring at Landon.

"Wow did you see him just glare at me? I'm so loving this. Luca you hate fighting or training. You helping Grey will help you grow more stamina." Landon said.

"I never said I wanted more stamina. I'm fine this way. So let me be." Luca said rolling his eyes.

"No I won't let you go my dear brother. You have to listen to my voice." Landon said as he tickled Luca's side.

"Don't fucking touch me. I swear I will punch you." Luca warned.

"Let me see you try it." Landon said looking for his trouble.

I sat down and watch the two of them arguing with each other. I smiled enjoying the view. Then it turned to a fight.
