Chapter 242

LANDON POV

warriors.

I went outside and ran towards the pack. I shifted into my wolf before running faster. When I got to where the fight was going on, I noticed how bad it was going. It seems like the rogues had upper hand because they were plenty. They outnumbered the pack I began to tear skins and claws the chest of any rogue in front of me. Some I jumped on them with my huge body smashing their heads to the ground.

I noticed the warriors backing out leaving just me and the rogues alone. I began to wonder why. Or were they leaving all the work to be? They can't be serious right? I'm here to help them not for them to leave me to do it all by myself. Or is this what I get from helping them.

Some were injured yes and needed treatment but what about the others who are perfectly fine and still capable of fighting back? Why are they all leaving? Or do they know something that I don't know?

Because I was distracted by their actions, I didn't notice a rogue coming to me in full speed. I only noticed him when he jumped to attack me. Before I could prepare myself for him, another wolf jumped and pushed him making him fall to the ground hard. I was surprised who this strange wolf was. I looked at the direction it was coming from which was behind me and noticed a quite number of wolves were behind me.

I didn't know who they were but I noticed one thing that was unique and similar to all of them. They all had an alpha aura.

They must be my classmates in school. Perfect. Now I get why the pack warriors backed out. Because we were all going to end this ourselves.

The black wolf which saved me earlier stood in front of me and gave me a Wolfy smile. I guess it knew I was a part of them.

Among all the wolves I was the largest. They were all looking up to me because of my height.

I looked up to see more rogues coming. I wonder where they are all coming from and why they are attacking this pack. Well that aside we need to finish them all so I can go back to my Mira. I hope no one has gone to attack her again. I need to hurry up and go back to her.

I turned to face the rogues with my friends from school behind me. I let out a loud strong howl first then my friends from school replied howling too.

Then I started running to the rogues. I felt them running to behind me as we began to fight the rouges. I tore the throats of wolves and bit their necks leaving them breathless.

I was surrounded by a large number of rogues but I still managed to finish them all without sustaining any injury or cut from them. My speed was really saving my a*s.

Truth be told this is actually my first time fighting a large number of rogues like this. I mostly just fight just one or two but not this number.

How do I feel about it?

I feel good. I'm happy to be helping this pack from harm and really the feeling of having an upper hand is so nice. Although the smell of blood in the air really doesn't seems so nice. Fighting with my friends also is amazing. I think I will never forget this moment. We fighting together and saving each other from the opponents.

We didn't take so long in ending the rogues. All of them. I stood and watched dead bodies on the ground but it was a relief that they all belonged to the rogues and not to any of my classmates.

I turned to look at them and noticed some were still standing strong while some on the other hand were licking the cuts they got.

I stood straight with my head up as I let out a loud howl to declare our victory. All the wolves who were around me but my friends and those who were the warriors all howled together with me. Now this indeed is victory and it feels so good.

Some warriors walked to us with clothes and dropped it for us to shift. I waited for the others to shift because I wanted to know who saved me earlier so I can thank him. My eyes has been glued on him since because I remembered his features so well since he wasn't the only black wolf here. He was really strong and not as fast as I am but really he was fast and so good. He was trained so well.

I watched him shift and I smiled when I saw who it was. I shifted and wore a shorts before walking to him.

I hit his back laughing.

"Thanks man for helping me earlier. But really dude I didn't know you could fight like that. You sure can win the challenge with your dad if you continue like this. You just have to be faster and I think you are good." I said to him.

"I only saved you because I know my best friend will be worried if something bad happens to her mate. I don't want her to be stressed over your grown up ass." Parker said with a smirk on his face. The other guys began to gather us.

"Wow Landon I didn't know it was you." one said.

"I can't believe you were the big wolf earlier man." another said.

"How are you so big?" one asked.

"Who taught you how to be so fast?" another asked.

"You were amazing earlier. Killing those rogues looked like you were playing around. It didn't seems like you were actually fighting." one said.

"My head aches from looking up to look at you."

"Never in my life have I ever heard such loud howl before. It was like the ground was shaking. Even my dad can't howl as loud and strong like you." "How did you get your powers?"

The questions and compliments kept coming in. I didn't know who to answer or what to say. It was like they were all talking at the same time. I couldn't even hear some because I was hearing others.

"Yoh you all should calm down. You are stressing the guy. One at a time." Hunter said standing in front of me acting like my bodyguard.

But no one paid attention to him. They continued talking. My ears were about to bleed.

"Alright I will just summarize the whole thing. Please stop asking questions already." I said.

Immediately I spoke they all kept quiet. I was surprised with how I was able to control them just like that.

"First things first,I was born like this. I was only blessed with my wolf and my siblings are also like that too. We are triplets. And I don't have powers and no one taught me how to be fast. I'm just naturally fast." I said to them.

"Woah so amazing. Sorry to ask but do you have a sister? Hope she hasn't replace a mate? I want to be her man so we can give birth to kids like you." someone said.

I got offended with his statement. How dare he talk about my sister like that?

"Mind your words. My sister has a mate already and she won't be served as a toy just to produce children who will be like her. Besides I doubt if our children is going to be like us. We only got this gift because of our mother and we are not our mother." I said to him looking so serious.

"Calm down Landon. I was only joking. Don't take it personal. I'm sorry." he apologized.

"Good. Now excuse me. I have to go to my mate." I told them.

"You can go. We will see tomorrow. Greet Mira for me." Hunter said.

"Say hi to my best friend for me too." Parker said.

"Tell your mate, your friend Justin says hello." Justin said.

I smiled and nodded.

I began to walk when someone called for me to stop.

"Sorry but please before you go can you come with us. Our alpha needs to talk to you." the man said.

I was surprised to hear that the alpha was around when this was going on and he didn't come out to fight. What alpha would do that? Putting his pack members in a risk and not saving them.

I followed the man and noticed that the others were going with us too. I guess he called for all of us.

They led us to our school and we stood in assembly hall waiting for the alpha to come out.

He walked out with his beta with our teachers.

"Hello you all. You all witness what happened today and must be confused to alot of things. Well don't be confused for I will explain everything to you. The thing is every year whenever students are in session, rogues come in their large number and tries to attack students in particular because of their hatred for alphas. They hate that we train you all to be alpha's so they try to eliminate you all. But today you all impressed me because you all fought by yourselves and didn't let the pack warriors to fight alone. When I was informed that my men were outnumbered, I was just about joining but then an information came to me that a student of this school who is a stranger joined to help. Who is that student? He needs to be applaud for being brave. Don't worry you all will be applauded too but his first." the alpha said.

I knew he was talking about me but I didn't want to go because I feel it isn't necessary and I didn't want to be the center of attention.

But I couldn't avoid this because the guys behind me began to push me to the front.

I shaked my head and walked to the stage and bowed to the alpha. He smiled and clapped first before everyone began to clap.

"You are just like your father and you will be a great alpha just like your father. He actually said alot of good things about you when he visited the last time with your mum. And I can see he was right. He would definitely be proud of you as I am proud of you. Keep the good work child. And thank you for helping my men." he said to me smiling.

Oh I totally forgot he knew my parents. But is he serious. My Dad said alot of good things about me?

I felt so proud and happy to hear that.
