POV

I packed my car in front of the shopping mall and stood outside waiting for Grey to come out. He informed me earlier that he was going for shopping but I wasn't at home to take him so I decided to surprise him by picking him up.

I checked the time on my wrist watch and smiled when I saw that I was still very early. I focused on those coming out of the shopping mall so I won't miss him.

I didn't have to wait for long before he finally walked out. I smiled and started walking to him but I stopped. I frowned as I watched some dude walking behind Grey. He said something which made Grey turn to him. My blood boiled when I saw Grey talking then he smiled at this total stranger which I knew nothing about. I was really pissed off to why he was giving this man his cute smile which was only meant for me.

What if the stranger is gay too? Could it be that he has fallen for my mate and his trying to hit on him? No way will I allow him.

I clench my teeth holding my growl in. Xander was pissed off too. I mean why shouldn't we, it's our mate we are talking about here so we have ever right to be angry.

I must stop whatever this man's plan is. I have to show him that Grey has a mate and his not up to me. I can crush him within seconds.

I walked to them. Grey was still facing him so he didn't see me coming. When I got to them, I slide my hand on Grey's waist drawing him closer to me. I could tell he was expecting that because his body went rigid but when he turned and saw it was me, he relaxed. "Hey babe who is this dude?" I asked looking at the stranger straight into his eyes with anger burning in my eyes.

The stranger looked at me with a confused look on his face. Maybe he still hasn't gotten the full picture yet. I should as well tell him so he won't be left in the dark.

"Mind my manners, I am his mate. So who are you?" I asked with a stern look.

"Luca what's wrong with you? Why are you acting like this?" Grey whispered to me before he gave the man another smile. Watching him smile at only the man made me so angry than I was.

"You haven't answered my question or are you deaf and dumb? No I don't think so because I saw you talking earlier to my mate. So speak right now. I don't have much patience. Who the f**k are you?" I asked the man again.

"Hi, am Frank nice to meet you." the stranger said giving me his hand for a handshake but I ignored it.

"What business do you have with my mate?" I asked him.

"Luca." Grey whispered again tugging my shirt sleeve but I didn't pay attention to him.

"Oh nothing. I have no business with him. Actually he helped me earlier so I was just trying to thank him." the so called Frank guy said.

"Helped you with what?" I asked wanting to know. I still don't trust him. Maybe he was pretending just to be close to Grey.

"I was having problems in picking the perfect toy for my kid. He noticed and helped me."

"Is that true?" I asked Grey knowing fully well that if it was the truth then I have really f****d up.

"Yes Luca it's true. I only helped him earlier and he was thanking me before you arrived." Grey answered.

"Then why didn't you tell me since?" I asked him.

"I have been trying to but you didn't let me." he answered rolling his eyes at me.

"Frank is your name right?" I asked the stranger.

"Yes you are right." he answered.

"Alright I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. You are free to leave now. We need to go home." I said to him.

The Frank guy smiled and left. I grabbed the paper bags from Grey without saying a word to him although I was still aware that I was in trouble. I shouldn't have overreacted the way I did but I couldn't help it.

We went to where I packed the car. Grey sat down while I loaded the bags into the back before I went to the driver seat. I started the car and began to drive in silence. We both we silent ever since we left the shopping mall.

I stole a glance at Grey and notice he was using his phone. He didn't even pay any attention to me.

I got home and he left the car and entered the house without picking anything. Not like I was complaining but he didn't even look at me. I packed the paper bags and took them inside.

He was sitting in the living room still pressing his phone. I dropped the items he bought and went to sit close to him.

"Grey talk to me please. Look I'm sorry about earlier but I couldn't help but feel jealous when I saw you smiling at him." I said hoping he talks to me.

"Really Luca. No really. You had to embarrass me like that right in front of a complete stranger. So smiling at someone is now a crime right?" he asked looking so mad.

"Yes Grey. You smiling is a crime." I said without thinking.

"What." he glared at me.

"Calm down please so I can explain what I actually mean by that. Your smile is a crime because it captures people and makes them to fall for you. You have a killer smile which is bad because you pull people closer to you with it." I explained to him. I caught him raising his lips up a little then he quickly brought it down. It's a good sign that I am saying the right words.

"But you didn't have to be jealous. That was so uncalled for." he said.

"I know and I have learnt my decision never to jump in conclusion again from today." I said to him.

"I seriously can't get mad at you for long because you do know the right words to confuse me and make me forgive you before I even know it." he said rolling his eyes acting like he was pissed but I knew he wasn't.

"I really wanted to surprise you earlier by coming to the shopping mall to pick you. But u had to ruin everything myself. I'm sorry." I apologized.

"It's fine. I was still surprised and glad you came." he said smiling.

Finally he was smiling at me. That's a green sign.

"I missed you so much. Please I need to kiss you." I said waiting for his permission. It felt like I have stayed years without seeing him when it's only hours.
