Chapter 58

ROSIE POV

The moment I heard the Luna beg me to save Evans, I stood up. I needed to go to the hospital. I need to go see him for myself.

Before leaving the changing room, I stopped on my tracks.

'Why am I bothering myself about that arrogant jerk. Yes he is or was my mate because remember he rejected me so I don't see the need to go help him out. Not after all the pain he had caused me.' I thought.

"Rosie please you have to go. I'm begging you. Please for my sake. I still can't get through to Axel and I'm very worried right now. I can't lose Axel please because unlike Evans, he is better and has been loving to me. He has never rejected me. I can't lose him now please Rosie." Sun begged me and from her voice I knew she was crying.

Well then for her I will go to the hospital. But it's only for her and not for that jerk. I let out a sigh then turned back. I quickly changed out from my uniform.

I left the changing room and went to meet Mr Drew.

"Mr Drew if you don't mind, can I leave now. My presence is needed urgently." I said to him.

"Its fine Rosie. Go get some rest at home. But are you sure you are okay?" he asked.

"Yes I'm fine. Don't worry about me." I smiled.

I bid Steph good bye before running off to the hospital.

When I entered, I rushed to the nurse I saw.

"Hello please what's the room number of the alpha's son room?" I asked.

She told me. Without wasting any more time, I rushed to the room. I opened the door to see him laying there on the bed with his eyes closed. I looked for injuries but only found a bandage on his hand.

'Maybe the others were hidden under his hospital clothes. I thought.

I slowly walked to his head. I looked at his face and couldn't help but notice his face has lost some color. Was he that weak? But why is his eyes closed? Is he sleeping or is he unconscious?

Well his mother said it was serious so maybe he was unconscious.

My heart broke for him.

I sat on the chair that was close to his bed. I held his hand and immediately I smiled a little when I felt sparks.

"Hey Evans. I'm here not because of you but because of Sun and your mother. Please wake up and heal faster. You are going to be the alpha soon, you need to be strong and fight for your family and your people. We all depend on you so please wake up." I spoke to him softly.

I just hope he hears me. Although I know he won't be happy to see me here but I'm sure Axel might maybe want to heal faster when he hears my voice. I would prefer it if he opens his eyes and call me names for touching him than seeing his eyes closed like this. "I know you don't want me here but you have to open your eyes so I could leave here. If I leave now, your mother won't be happy. I don't know how she got to know that we are mates but she knows already. Well I think this is the right time to tell you what has been in my mind ever since. I just hope you are hearing me." I said to him looking at his big hand that I was holding. He sure had nice veins that were popping.

I cleared my head as I wasn't there for that. I didn't come to admire how sexy he looked and all.

"Well I wanted to tell you that I Rosie White have forgiven you for rejecting me, for bullying me, for calling me weak, for having sex with another female, for causing me so much pain and for breaking my heart. I forgive you for everything. And I will want to set you free. I need you to open your eyes so I can accept your rejection so you can be free from me and the mate bond. So you can live your life." I said as tears began to fall from my eyes.

I was surprised when his hand suddenly left my grip. I looked up to see his angry eyes burning stares at me. Well not like I mind at all. What was important was that he was alive and his now conscious.

"What the fuck are you doing here Omega?" he asked me in a very cold voice.

"I was called to come here to see how you are feeling." I said to him.

"You liar who will call you here? You are not the doctor or nurse so why will they call you to come here?" he asked glaring at me.

"Your mother called me." I replied.

"My mother? Are you crazy? Why will you lie using my mother's name? Don't you have any respect?" he asked sitting up.

"I don't understand, I'm not lying. Honestly your mother called me and she told me to come save you because your health was critical." I tried to explain.

He let out a dark laugh.

"Can you hear yourself right now? Do you think you are making any sense from what you just said right now? Why will my mother call you about my health?" he asked me.

"She called me to come because she knows I'm your mate." I whispered but I knew he heard me because his face changed from angry to shocked.

"What did you just say?" he asked looking at me with his eyes wide open.

"Your mother called me to come because she knows I'm your mate and she said I can save you as your mate." I repeated.

He let out a low growl and whispered a 'f**k' before turning to me with his eyes red.

"What did you do Omega? Was this your plan all along? To get my mother to your side that's why you told her that we were mates. How dare you?"

Now I'm getting really angry. He first thought of me as a liar now he thinks I'm cheap by talking to his mother. No way will I let him talk to me like that.

I stood up and looked at him with a frown on my face.

"Listen up you arrogant jerk, I won't allow you keep on talking to me like that you hear me. And you must be dumb. How is it that you forgot you ordered me to not say a word to anyone that we were mates just after you rejected me? You freaking ordered me not to say a word and I have never said a word to anyone so think twice maybe you were the one who told her." I said to him.

"I see you have the fucking guts to talk back at me right?"

If looks could kill, I'm sure I will have been buried since because of the deadly look he was giving me.

"Yes I guys to talk back at you because I refuse to be scared of you or be under your control. I will show you that although I'm an Omega on papers, I'm not a weakling like you see me. I'm stronger than that. And I will never allow you talk down on me." "Get out of my fucking room. Remember this when I left this hospital, am coming for you and you will regret ever talking back at me you f*****g bitch." he said glaring at me.

I was about to talk to him and warn him from calling me a bitch when the door opened.

I turned to see the Luna but what surprised me was her facial expression. She didn't look like the Luna I knew. She looked so different right. She looked so angry like she was breathing steams from her nose.

I stood quietly and watched her walk up to her son. The next thing she did surprised me to the core.

She slapped him hard on his face. Evans turned to look at her.

Never in my life have I ever seen him look so afraid as he looked right now as he was staring at his mother.

"Mom?" he said softly.

"DON'T YOU CALL ME THAT." she shouted.

"I am not your mother. I never gave birth to such heartless and stupid idiot like you. I'm ashamed to be called your mother. How dare you talk to Rosie like that and what gives you the right to call her a bitch?"

I could feel the anger coming from her. I was so scared for Evans. Even Sun went to hide with her tail in between her legs.

Evans kept looking at her with shock on his face. It was like he didn't understand what was going.

"At first I thought that you haven't found your mate just to replace out that maybe you and Rosie are mates. All my thoughts was maybe you both didn't know about your mate bond not knowing that you actually rejected her. How could you reject the mate the moon goddess gave you? How could you treat her like that? How could you be so evil to even bully her and also cause her so much pain by having sex with another person? What if she had died during the pain? And you think she is weak because she's an Omega, you are wrong Evans because she is actually strong if she was able to survive the pain of you having s*x with another woman. Others would have died since." she said to him.

I got confused.

'How did she know about the sex incident?'

I thought.

That's when it hit me, she heard me talk about it earlier.

What have I done? Now Evans is in trouble because of me?

"I'm so disappointed really Evans I never expected you to grow up to be like this. I'm highly disappointed at you." she said as she started crying.

Evans stood up and tried to touch her but she pulled her hand away.

"I SAID DON'T TOUCH ME." She shouted.

The alpha walked to her side and held her pulling her to his chest as she cried.

My body began to shake when I saw him. I didn't know he was there too. From the look on his face, he didn't look happy.

"You both are coming home with me immediately." he ordered.

From the sound of his voice although it sounded calm, I knew we were in trouble.
