Killian's heart punched hard against his chest, his face suddenly became sweaty, and his veins pulsated. He stomped his feet hard on the ground and everyone in the hall hurriedly bowed their heads.

"How dare you slander the Luna? Don't you know it's a capital offense punishable by death?" Killian screamed, and the guard hurriedly went on his knees.

"My Alpha, I swear by the heavens that all I said was nothing but the truth." The guard hurriedly replied, and Killian fumed even more.

"Is there any evidence to prove your claim?" Jared intuitively asked the guard, whose heartbeat could be heard by almost everyone in the hall.

"A hairpin...a golden hairpin with phoenix pattern was found at the crime scene, it was the tool used by the murderer." Killian rolled his eyes as the guard uttered the

statement. He had left Sara in the toomya few minutes ago, there was no possible way she had enough time to murder the elder right away.

"Where's the elders' body?" Killian fired.

"It's.. it's in his house." The guard trembled, and Killian instantly marched out of the hall, while the rest of the elders followed behind.

"It's not possible, Sara is not a murderer, she has no reason to do that." Killian muttered to himself as he walked to the elders' house.

"My Alpha." The maids and guards greeted as Killian stepped into the compound.

He ignored their greetings and headed towards the dead body that was placed right in the living room.

Killian collected a stick incense and lit it as a means of respect for the dead.

"My Alpha, this is the tool used by the murderer. I am sorry to say, but the hairpin belongs to the Luna." Savannah uttered and handed over the hairpin to Killian.

Killian stared at the hairpin for a while, and he closed his eyes in grief while he drew in a sharp breath. It was indeed the hairpin he had gotten for her on their last outing.

"My Alpha, murdering an elder is a capital offense, the Luna...no, Sara should be arrested immediately." Clara added, and some of the guards chorused "yes, my Alpha."

"No, Sara can't, she can never..." Killain said but was interrupted by Jared. "The evidence is glaring, we have the tool used by the murderer with us." "Silence!" Killian roared, and Jared hurriedly shut his mouth.

"A hairpin only is not enough to convinct her of murder. What if she was framed by someone else? What if she had mistakenly dropped the hairpin and a person with ulterior motives had picked it up? Try to reason with your senses." Killian fired back at him, which made him slightly now his head.

"My Alpha, there is a witness. She claim to see the Luna when she walked into the elder's room." Savannah quickly chipped in, and Killian's head span.

Savannah clapped her hand, and the head steward of the elder's house walked in.

"Greetings, my Alpha." The steward greeted.

"What did you see?" Killian asked her immediately.

"My Alpha, I saw the Luna walk into the compound in a suspicious way so I decided to follow her. I stopped when she entered into the elder's room, but I could hear some arguments coming out of the room. A few minutes later, she gently sneaked out of the room, and hurried away." The steward narrated, while Savannah smirked.

"Go on." Savannah ordered.

"So after a while, I decided to check on the elder but I met his cold dead body, I raised an alarm, and the guards found the hairpin in a corner." The steward continued, and a sigh swept across the room.

"No, it's not logical. How can a person murder someone and intentionally leaves the tool behind? Did the person carry out the murder just to be caught by you guys?" Killian argued.

"What if the murderer dropped the tool unknowingly?" A voice said, and everyone turned their heads at the direction of the voice. It was the moon priestess.

"Honored one." The people greeted her.

"Moon priestess, did you mean that the Luna murdered the elder?" Killian asked as the moon priestess walked inside.

"No. Greetings, my Alpha." The moon priestess greeted, and took her seat beside the Alpha.

"What I am saying is that there are two possible options. It's either the tool was intentionally dropped by the murderer just to frame the Luna, or it was unknowingly dropped by the Luna herself." The moon priestess paused and stared at Killian.

"My Alpha, to replace out the truth, you have to ask the Luna herself." The moon priestess finalized, and everyone in the room nodded.

"But..."

"Believe me, my Alpha. I know the Luna didn't do it, but either way, she has to come out and prove her innocence. If you use force to clear this issue, oppositions will rise for sure." The moon priestess whispered into Killian's ears, and he shook his head in annoyance. He tightened his grip around the arm of the chair he sat on, and he panted heavily.

"Arrest the Luna."
